BAKER'S CLUB SPECIALS (Orders) & REWARDS

The Bunch of Specials includes 6 Slots with random Recipes available for your Level.

Depending on your Level and on Cooking Time, you have to serve from 2 to 6 of each of 6 Recipes (filling out 6 Slots).

You have 18 hours to fill all 6 Slots out.
The Timer starts when you open your game (no matter how long the Bunch was ready after 4hrs refresh).

When all 6 Slots are filled out, you can see respective marker on your Mailbox and Club Board.
Entering there, you have to tap "Deliver" button.

For each delivered Bunch you get a random reward of 1 Key:

Baker's Club Specials don't take any plates from your Bakery: they only require you to serve the dishes.
Everything you served - goes to your counters.
You can cook the dishes from Secret Preview beforehand, but DO NOT SERVE them - until you see the mark on your Mailbox and Club Board that next Bunch of Specials is ready to accept your deliveries.

There is NO Refresh or Discard Feature for Baker's Club Specials.
If you have Slot with Recipe that is available for your Level but not yet learnt by you, or if you just didn't manage to complete the Bunch in time for some other reasons, - you will have to wait until the 18hrs-timer counts down.
Then you can see the Secret Preview of next Bunch, and wait again 4 hours for it to be ready to accept your deliveries.

If you see that you are too close to level up AND you have Bunch of Specials you can complete and you are working on it:
- check here (https://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?90277-BAKERY-STORY-2-Levelling-Up-(XP-Unlocked-Items-amp-Expenses)) if there is new recipe coming next level,
- and if yes, try to deliver your running Bunch of Specials first, and then only level up.
It can lower the risk to get unlearnt recipe in next Bunch, and you will not loose a day waiting for Specials to refresh.

Nothing of what you served for undelivered Bunch will be counted toward the next Bunch.

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING:

If you didn't learn any Gourmet Recipes yet, don't buy Ingredients from Secret Gourmet Goods until you have additionally either 1 Golden or 1 Silver Key:
You need Golden and Silver Keys to learn the recipes, so if you don't have any, then Ingredients that you got, will just occupy your Pantry space because you cannot use it.

Once you've learnt Gourmet Recipe,
It doesn't need any more keys to cook. It works like usual recipes, so you will only have to spend Bronze Keys to get Ingredients from Secret Gourmet Goods.

Start learning Gourmet Recipes from Home and Fancy Ovens,
If you want to build up coins faster (https://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?88615-BAKERY-STORY-2-Planning-amp-Strategies-to-EARN-COINS): other appliances have more dishes with higher income, meanwhile Home and Fancy Ovens produce more recipes with lower income.

This looks fun. I have been absolutely SICK of the last goals that require 50 things for one recipe. I didnt finish any of them and really didnt bother past the first 2 days. Ill be back to cooking and doing deliveries to finish expanding and hoping to come across something awesome to use my gems on.

I want this game to win, but these goals are often silly and repetitive. As much as I love bakery and RS2, this hasnt enamored me as those two have.

The recipes look yummy and im loving the quantities too.

From another thread, my understanding is that after you buy the suitcase with the silver key, the suitcase opens and there are secret ingredients available for purchase.

It costs one bronze (?) key to purchase the secret ingredients. It doesn't appear that you have a choice of what ingredients you receive. You use the bronze key and get six ingredients which will automatically be added to your pantry.

You can choose not to use the key to buy the ingredients or you can wait until you have enough keys to buy the ingredients AND cook the recipes.

The gourmet recipes need certain secret ingredients AND keys to cook them. So if you have the ingredients and not the required key you cannot cook the recipe.

What I would like to know is what is the cost of each secret ingredient when you open the suitcase?
Does the suitcase refresh and offer the ingredients again like the stores do? Or does the suitcase disappear and you have to open another one using a silver key to get more ingredients?

but THIS - is wht i really cannot catch right now!
and the mistery is that we still have not any single pic, only words here and there!

- this luggage is in appliance tab - so, logically, it sd work on permanent base.
- but how it looks inside? and wht exactly we have to exchange for those random 6 ingreds?
- and wht happens to this luggage after exchange?

i wd say it sounds crazy that it doesn't work permanently, but i still remember in dragon story we have second breeding den that you have to buy for 300 gold (=gems), and it works 1 week, and then you have to "recharge" it for another 300 gold for it to work and not to stay like useless decor...

- so, is it working forever, or do we have to recharge it with keys/whtevr?
- if it doesn't work permanently, does it disapper or became just a decor like marshmallow toaster?

In addition, macarons asked for 5 orders instead of six, so I am guessing that it is only orders under 2 minutes or something that ask for 6. And for apple cider, which I cannot fill, it asked for only 2.

The to-go orders were asking for gourmet ingredients even though I had not learned any yet, just like how it asks for unlearned recipes.

The green house is most likely unimplemented for now. Really hope it's some sort of marketplace where u can trade keys or something like that, would be awesome!

Ok, so there is definitely a difference for levels.

My orders are 3 for scones, fruit blintz, apple dumplings, croissant, mocha frappe, turtle cappuchino, coconut vanilla latte, and all orders over 5 minutes except apple cider, which asked for 2. However, it has not asked for any pies or cakes yet so not sure about those.

Hmmm...oh dear. So it may not pay to level up :p Maybe this is why i'm almost done with 4 orders and some are only at 2! :-/

I do have the cake maker but haven't learnt the peanut butter cake as yet. I haven't had any orders for it though. Can't remember if I have had a peanut butter balls order. Doubt it though.

Each appliance (except for home made ingredients and bread oven) has one gourmet recipe.

Gourmet ingredients
can be received from Secret Gourmet Goods
that you can get for 1 Silver Key from Appliance Tab and Key Tab of the Market.

However, Do not rush to get these ingredients!
Collect SILVER and GOLDEN keys first,
because you need them to learn gourmet recipes.
Otherwise the ingredients you got from Secret Goods, will lay dead in your pantry
and spoil the space of it:I'm confused by this. You need to buy the ingredients to unlock the recipes, don't you? So doesn't that mean you need to have bought the Secret Gourmet Goods thing and the ingredients before you can unlock the recipes anyway?

That's correct. Vana is saying that if you do not have a golden key or 3 silver keys, do not purchase any gourmet ingredients because then you will be stuck with them in your pantry until you get a golden key to learn the recipe (or 3 silver keys which is what some recipes require)

You will have to wait 18 hours and then the additional 4 hours for the next order to arrive. :( I'm currently waiting through my second order of apple cider. :/

Maybe we should report this as a bug in the bugs section? Would that get their attention quicker than here? I doubt they read everything we post here? I mean, 18 hrs wait is very excruciating. Either give us refresh option like with to go orders, or option to discard the whole order for a brand new one

this is not really bug, so i posted in suggestions section:

this one they read for sure. we know it because ms. pudding was asking about additional marking in cookbooks couple of months ago, and now we got it! both for to-go orders and for secret ones :)

however, i don't really believe we will get it soon, because it needs well considered and balanced decision.
what if you learnt the recipe but you just don't wanna do it because it takes too much time?
so what, you refresh, refresh, refresh - and here you go! 6 slots with sugar cookies, macarons etc!
and you get your keys, hellion per day! where is the intrigue? :)

to-go orders is a different case.
- there, we have 9 randoms,
- each one has its own rarity,
- and we can use them (except coins and gems) only in combination of many of them,
- and they go to our pantries,
-- so, sooner or later, we have to get rid of them if we cannot use it.

but here, with secret orders, we only have 3 randoms.
rarity is understood, and thanks that they do NOT go to pantry (lol!), BUT
the quantity of combinations have much smaller value, and simplification of task will grow the probability of getting what you want, so the interest will go down faster...

oh well!
hope you understand what i mean :)

of course, optimal for us was if the game could understand what we learnt and what we didn't yet, and not offered to us the orders basing only on our level.
but i'm afraid this is too difficult programwise (as any personalization, though) and can generate too many application issues for long-long time until fully debugged and working properly.

2 orders did not ask for something unlearnt, so I have two bronze keys. Have a feeling it will take a long time to get a silver one and forever to take a gold one. I could learn apple cider, but I've been saving up for chocolate jelly donut since mid-January and am almost there, so at least that's something to look forward to! Also, if I learn apple cider I have a feeling it will stop asking for it and just move on to some other unlearnt recipe :P

This is not really well thought out by the devs. All of us, at some point, will get orders with unlearnt recipes. What do they expect us to do? Spend gems to bypass this? Or we must now wait 26 hours till the next order?

4 hrs refresh + 18 hrs + 4 hrs refresh = 26 hrs till I can get another key :(

Please give us a discard button!

(unless you have golden mastery for frosted brownies - then it sd be less 1hr to cook, so 3servings look logic)

others did it because they are pioneers, for wht we all are unspeakably thankfull to them!
they didn't have people like they are themselves - to warn them and to prevent from doing the things they shdn't do. :)

the point is that LEARNING gourmet recipes COST RARE KEYS.
(some of them cost 1 GOLD key to learn, some of them - 3 SILVER keys to learn).

as soon as you get 1st silver key ever - you buy the appliance (Secret Gourmet Goods) producing ingredients every 30 seconds for 1 BRONZE key.

of course you have a lot of bronze keys by then - and you immediately exchange your key to ingredients via that appliance.

BUT

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AT LEAST {1 GOLD KEY} or {3 SILVER KEYS} by this moment - you cannot use the ingredients you bought for your bronze key, and they just occupy the brilliant space in your pantry :)

so the strategy is:

- do the orders, collect the keys;
- first you'll be getting BRONZE, several times;
- when you get first SILVER - buy the Secret Gourmet Goods (Pile of Suitcases);
- DO NOT buy ingredients from SuitCases. Let them stay in your Bakery for awhile;

here you go for 1 of 2 variants, depending on keys you get further:

OR:
1) WAIT until you get first GOLD key;
2) then you can go to SuitCases and exchange 1 Bronze to random ungredients bunch AND
3) check in your appliances if you can LEARN some recipe with ingredients you've got AND 1 GOLD key;
4) if you miss some ingredients - go again to SuitCases, and exchange another one bronze key
(i'm sure u'll have enough bronze by then)

OR:
1) IF you're getting SILVER keys sooner than gold - WAIT until you have minimum 3 SILVER: exactly this number of silver keys required to learn some recipes.
2) then you can go to SuitCases and exchange 1 Bronze to random ungredients bunch AND
3) check in your appliances if you can LEARN some recipe with ingredients you've got AND 3 SILVER keys;
4) if you miss some ingredients - go again to SuitCases, and exchange another one bronze key

we do not yet know the key-price to learn all of 8 recipes, but you can check post #2 in this thread and to see what we already found :)

and, one more thing...
whichever of above 2 variants you've got - do not forget about mambo step number five:

I have to serve 3 creme brulee, 3 raspberry gallette & 3 apple dumplings, all from my one french oven. If my math is right that's 12 hours of baking. Tempted to buy a second french oven, but not being able to store appliances makes having extras rather tricky!

So I'm not sure that the quantities depend on the cooking time, because both recipes take the exact same time to cook.

So to be safe, when I see the preview of the next order, I just precook 2x of everything. Then when the order becomes available to fill, I look to see which recipe requires the third cook

Just leveled up to 34 and my apple cider is now asking for 3 instead of 2.

Me, too. 3 raspberry gallette, 3 creme brulee & everything else from french oven. 3 of each drink, scone & fruit blintz.
Not sure about peanut butter balls.

The only thing, so far that has only asked for 2 is lemon meringue pie. Presumably would be the same for Caramel Apple Pie.

Haven't been asked for peanut butter and jelly cake or snowball cake, but hoping those would only ask for 2.

(((My second, lower-level account just glitched big time. I just opened the Baker's Club, even sped the darn thing up, was working away on orders, completed a few items, closed out of game, came back later & progress was gone & have to wait almost 4 hours for a new batch of items!! No keys, progress gone. So frustrating!!! Gonna go check the bugs forum and report there.)))

I'm not entirely sure what the 'formula' is for this, either. I imagine fruit blintz requires more, because we likely have 2 appliances to cook them on, whereas with the french oven, we more likely only have one.

I think the quantities for each item will vary according to level. My guess is that it will increase as we level up.
and on cooktime too, absolutely.
being level 29, i'm getting almost everything x3.
except pbj cake and snowcake - x2
and sugarcookies and tarts - x6
and macarons - x5
but strawberry cake (5mins) - also x3, as well as 1.5hrs recipes...

I imagine fruit blintz requires more, because we likely have 2 appliances to cook them on, whereas with the french oven, we more likely only have one.

the only thing, i guess if the game doesn't care whether you unlocked the recipe available for your level or not, - it sd also not count which appliance you most likely have or not - but only counts whether this appliance available for your level or not...

there sd be some connection with how many levels did you pass from the level where the recipe/appliance became available to you (not from when you actually got money to unlcok it).
but this figure is not constant, and sd depend on smth else (probably it considers also cases when you need not just to learn recipe, but to unlock some ingredient for it in same level, or even to open the whole store!), because look:

cider:
- available from lvl30
--- AND you need to unlock cinna on same level to do the cider.
--- BUT the grocer with cinna already opened by then.
- specials for cider need:
--- 2x on levels 30 to 33
--- 3x starting from level 34

brulee:
- available from lvl 22
--- AND you need to unlock vanilla on same level
--- AND to open bazaar for vanilla
- french oven #2 available from lvl 27
- specials for brulee need:
--- 2x from level (i guess) 22 to 32 (for sure)
--- 3x starting only from level 33

however, i didn' see yet any reports on requirements 3x cakes
(at least from players up to level 34),
despite we start with cake maker on level 23.

not yet understood whether it's based on 3hrs cooking, or on high coins income per plate too...
or on the fact that second cakemaker available only from level 36...
so, the qtty of servings per slot looks rather like combination of many factors than like one or two of them...

(i just hope there really IS a system.
because if it's random, i can imagin how funny our talks look for developers:

I am thinking BS2 might be based on level if it is consistent with other stories like RS2 and FS2. I am not sure if it's with cooking times too but it's worth noting. The quantities for lower level may differ cos of the limit to 1 for some of the appliances. We get a 2nd appliance as we level up.

Ok so I think it is just by level. Creme Brulee is same coin and even has more homemade ingredients, but Apple Cider was unlocked at a much later level. Since Apple Cider unlocked at level 30, we can guess that the order might go up 4-5 levels after.

I'm on level 34 and my next order is asking for chocolate donuts, for which I don't have the appliance, don't have dark chocolate AND need to learn it. So that's not gonna happen. I do wish there was a refresh option and/or a delay by a few levels for when they start asking for stuff!!

I need to open the spice shop AND learn it. :( I chose to purchase the cake maker and learn pbj cake instead of opening the bazaar. Was a good decision at the time. A few days later this new Secret Ingredients club thing was released in the game. Now? Maybe I should have gone for the Bazaar? Sigh.

I'm on Level 19 and when I order ingredients in the Secret Gourmet Goods, I only get 2 ingredients: Butterscotch and Sweet Cream Butter, as they are the only ones that are unlocked up to this level. Is 3 supposed to be the minimum?

Thank you ms. kooky, yes, I found this night wht to do.
Strange was that the game didn't update automatically as usual.
So I went to Google PlayStore -> my apps, and tapped "update" against usual BS2 version (Vale version doesn't have this update).
After this, I saw in preferences that the game has version 1.5.1 now.
And it stopped to open. Anytime I tried - black screen and then closed.
So I just deleted the game from device, and re-installed from Google PlayStore again.
Now it works.
the latest stable version for android seems to be 1.5.2 now, and works pretty fine.

So when I was at level 26 I only got 4 gourmet ingredients. I am now at 27 and I got 6 ingredients. Not sure if this info is needed, but wanted to share.

phatzs, yes, and i found that the qtty is random also within the level. i was 30, and i was getting 5 one time, and 6 next time, then 5 again, etc...
now 31, not yet traded. interesting if still will be getting 5 from time to time, or 6 from now on.

no, i wdn't say so. if i'm not getting unlearnt recipes, and if i have time, i usually finish 2 bunches of specials per day.
however i got so far abt 15 bronze, 4 silver, and 2 golden - which looks logic rarity due to their names :)
actually this club is not limited time feature, but it came to stay "forever".
so me personally, i have no complaints of key rarirty: the feature is available during 2-3 weeks only by now.
the only problem i really like to see solved - is unlearnt recipes in orders and the manner to refresh the orders containing them.
i also think that double and triple recipes in one bunch don't have to be. i think it's a glitch. and it sd be solved too.

DARN IT!!!!
I just leveled up and the darn fryer an donut just appeared. So, I still have to learn the carmel apple pie that keeps being asked in the secret bakers club but I don't have the 1.18 million to learn it and now I need a fryer at 2.3 million + what ever it cost to learn the donut!! I am doomed now. Every other secret bakers just about ask for carmel apple now I bet it will be the donut too. Way too expensive to learn anything and way TOO demanding on the mixer. Please make this game fun and not so crazy expensive to do anything or MAKE THE PEOPLE eat faster. I still have 70,000 coconut latte to get out and that is a lot of $$$ sitting there.

Also, can you guys give us more of those games to try and get gems. If I didn't lose the first 20 gems to the traps I would be able to get a 2nd mixer. I am only 15 shorts to get it. A 2nd mixer would help greatly!

Wow! Am I the only one that gets orders for snowball cake and peanut butter jelly cakes every single time???? That's 12 hours of cooking time and extremely annoying!! To make it worse the last 2 orders had 2 orders for snowball cakes, so that's 4 total and an order for peanut butter jelly cakes!!! That's a total of 6 items that each take 3 hours on the same oven! That's 18 hours! That's literally impossible to do considering I only have one cake oven and I do need to sleep sometimes!!!! I'm very disappointed to say the least!

You're not the only one: PB cake and snowball cake just about every time. Pies too Lemon and apple. Any one of these can be duplicated too. Those four, plus a duplicate, plus jelly donuts is my typical secret order. One time it was both cakes, both pies , an extra apple pie - then apple cider. Almost didn't finish that one between the pie maker and the drain on apples.

This latest time was a bit different, as one slot got gold coins and one got clover cookies. It hasn't opened up yet, but I'm hoping it will be just one bake of each or that will be just about the whole day.

It takes 3 hours & 15 minutes to make 1 rainbow sprinkle, so it would take 26 hours to even get the ingredients necessary to make these recipes. Not happening. Do better developers.

Similar for me too: 4 slots are filled with event recipes: 1 Clover, 2 Clover, 2 Limeade, and 2 Gold Coins, for a total of 7 bakes, requiring 9 rainbow sugar. Oh, then two slots with cakes.

At least I got a break from the endless stream of pies. (Or so I thought until my latest set of to go orders needed both pies LOL!)

Lol. I have no choice but to give it up. It's been over a week since I last had an order I could fill. For many many many days now, the orders keep asking for unlearnt recipes. It's extremely unfair that I have so far very little keys, while others complain they have too many keys :(

Very unbalanced and unfair that I'm blocked and excluded from being able to play this portion of the game

They'd better give us the discard or refresh button soon. It's ridiculous

Out of curiosity, if you use keys to buy tiles, does each tile cost a key, or does the key unlock the tile?

To be honest, although I think they should let us refresh the orders, I'm actually kind of relieved when I can't do an order. One less thing to worry about! :) But it is irritating when the goal recipes are in the orders. They take too much time between making the sugar and then making the actual recipe!

if you play "love & cupcakes" version (http://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?88785-BAKERY-STORY-2-Love-amp-Cupcakes-New-Version) - there is no secret club available.

if you play basic version, and still nothing - try deleting and re-istalling back your game.

and you did the last serving of some item?
if so, have you tried to force close / clearing cache?

sd've help...

(of course if you didn't means that 3hrs left for secret preview to become new order...
in this case it means you've run out of time with previous order, and you have to start over)

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING:

If you didn't learn any Gourmet Recipes yet, don't buy Ingredients from Secret Gourmet Goods until you have either 1 Golden Key or 3 Silver Keys:
You need Golden and Silver Keys to learn the recipes, so if you don't have any, then Ingredients that you got, will just occupy your Pantry space because you cannot use it.

Once you learned Gourmet Recipe,
It doesn't need any more key to cook. It works like usual recipes, so you will only have to spend Bronze Keys to get Ingredients from Secret Gourmet Goods.

Start learning Gourmet Recipes from Home and Fancy Ovens,
If you want to build up coins faster (http://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?88615-BAKERY-STORY-2-Planning-amp-Strategies-to-EARN-COINS): other appliances have higher income dishes in usual menu, meanwhile Home and Fancy Ovens produce lower income recipes.
We suppose all Gourmet Recipes will give you 10 coins per plate.
So if you start from Home and Fancy Ovens - you can use them to cook higher coins dishes too, and they will not stay useless in your Bakery while you are cooking 5 to 10 coins recipes from usual menus of other Appliances waiting for Golden Keys to learn other Gourmet Recipes.

I wonder if they might add more recipes to be opened with silver keys later? I have no interest in buying decorations and would rather spend it on a money maker; my silver keys are piling up and I don't need them for any more recipes!

I'm just giving up on the bakers club for now. Too ridiculous for me to deal with. :/

Stick with it if you can, they're 10 coin dishes so will be a huge help with the coins.

It's become quite clear between the last event and the gourmet dishes that quick serves are going to be an essential part of the game so make sure you have regular quick serves coming in and this should be a lot easier.

Siler keys are supposed to be rare, no?? Yet i keep on getting silver keys 50% of the time. It's so annoying since they are pretty much useless :(

Silver keys are pretty much useless at higher levels. After u have learned the souffl? with 5 silver keys, the rest are just for buying furniture and decoration.(I personally think the designer shocking purple tables stuck out like a sore thumb).

I have bought most the silver keys furniture (and store them, since i can't sell them either) and still have a bunch left!
It does feel as if the silver keys aren't rare. Developers please reprogram the drop rate?

Otherwise, do consider the option to let us buy ingredients with silver keys too? Or exchange 5 silver keys for 1 gold key etc?
It is very annoying to have spend say 12hours to cook the recipes, and all u get is something which aren't very useful (Not forgetting sometimes we have to wait out for orders to expire due to unlearnt recipes...)

U have to keep the players addicted to the game but when the rewards for players becomes very low, it diminishes game play interest and player numbers just drop off like flies.

I never post in forum until today because i m just very close to call it quits. (The 5200 cherry blossom is really a pain too!)

Its not giving me any keys other than bronze  what should i do?? I need gold and silver keys but i dont have any.. i've been playing the secret club since it came out and until now im only getting bronze :(( help me ;(
oh! it sounds awful. i guess you sd contact support team to check it out.
of course, the keys are random, gold are very rare, silver are rare, and bronze are common, but it's been 3 months now, and if you got upto 100 bronze keys and not any single gold or silver - something is definitely wrong. hope support team can help you with it: support@storm8.com.

What's the point of getting so many silver keys if you only technically need 6 to play the game? Now i have all these useless keys.

Will there be any updates or should i just give up on this game?
