Too many shelves and not enough mason jars

Every time I upgrade my pantry I always get double or even triple the number of shelves before I get enough mason jars.

Is there a way to balance this out? I can't delete what I don't need and I worry if i do delete the opposite will happen.

At the moment I have 10 shelves and 3 mason jars.

All I need is 4 of each to upgrade to 140

I am sorry but the randomness of drops is not a bug. I wish it was though haha. I am also lacking jars. Thanks for your feedback.

In my case, I get wayyyy more mason jar than shelf. I had to delete my mason jar since I had 10 of them and 0 shelf =/
