I didn't get the #3, but I definitely have #1 and #5. I'm just bumped because #5 was like the main prize last years event and now we have to work to get another one... Oh well, at least other prizes looks good and recipe doesn't require much ingridients which is nice

I don't mind the repeat prizes. It gives new players a chance to get them. Except for the XO which you could receive for playing another S8 game not long ago. I personally can never have too many valentine related items, and I like having doubles of certain decorations. Plus the new recipe hands out gems. Whats to complain about? :rolleyes:

If you'd like, you can still keep playing the game without starting the cruise :) There's a button on the right hand side with a ship that says "start". And then you have to confirm you're ready to start the cruise. (If I'm wrong on this, I'll confirm later tonight when I actually start the cruise myself)

I don't know the exact deadline for starting the cruise, but I'm sure you have a few days before it auto starts. And the first couple days are pretty easy.

Lets say, for example, you start the cruise and finish day 1. But then, for some reason, life takes over and you do not return to the game until Day 4. You can keep filling orders (even on the days your missed) up until Day 4.

You cannot, however, get ahead of cruise days. If you are on day 7, you can only do days 1-7 orders. You cannot skip ahead to day 8 on day 7.

This is just my experience (I'm on level 55). I do remember a time where cruises were set up the way you described though.

First 3 or so days are usually really easy and you can finish them without really any food prepared so I wouldn't worry. I would just start preparing food along with making food for orders, overnight you can make long orders so during the day you can cook other stuff.

The auto start usually kicks in on either the 4th or 5th from the start of cruise. Sorry I cant remember the exact day. Hope this helps.

I now have 3 of the blinking XO's and it will be that much more fun to decorate with them and since I like things somewhat symmetrical I never mind getting extras.

I was under level 40 last year so it was frustrating being so close and not qualifying for certain things.

I'm so happy that they've given us lots of nice things and the animated puppy stuff was fun & fair to earn.

Until now I had never been able to earn the animated things so after the Safari stuff and puppies I am grateful! Thank you :)

Yep I totally agree. But I'm not a decoration type of person. Guess everyone is different! I personally hate to see even other players restaurants packed full of odd and mismatching decorations and areas. It just looks too cluttered and ugly to me. And I don't like animals or weird stuff like that in my restaurant. But that's just my personal preference. I would be fine with wallpaper, floors, counters, tables and chairs. I guess because I figure I HAVE to have all those anyways. But everything has to match and not be too flashy! I guess to each his/her own! :)

OMG I am so excited about the champagne server. He's going to look awesome as my bartender. I haven't been so hyped about a prize in soooo long! The lovers bench is great too. I love the decorations that are people/restaurant based. I have all the quest decorations but I don't display 90% of them. I mean.... An octopus in a bathtub just really doesn't go with the motif of my upscale dining establishment, lol....

Further down someone mentioned that the wooden aging barrel was for iOS only. I have looked at a few threads and can't see this mentioned. It is supposed to unlock at lvl 56. However pretty sure it came with an app update, version 1.7.9, however that incorporated the new lvls and as you said you are 56 you should have it. Not much help I'm afraid. Maybe ask Kooky Panda. Sorry.

I'm in total agreement about my own restaurant. I like it to be free from decorations. I do enjoy seeing everyone else's decorations. I'm just nit picky about my own. I think I have stored every decoration I have won lol. I really do wish they would at least gift one style per cruise. Flooring, walls, tables....that would be awesome. :)

Just FYI. I'm on day five, and my 3coin dish gave me more than 42 gems. (Instead of the 35 listed in the thread) great in that it gave me more, sucks bc I wasn't able to cycle my other dishes before I finished the day

What level are you? The gems in the first post apply to max level, lower levels usually have coins worth more than higher level.

In my expirience almost every npc tend to drop 1 special ingridient at a time and they all have pretty much the same visiting range, so its not very unusual. I agree it would be nice to have more hearts being dropped, but this npc is no different from others really :>

Are you sure it's not Willow? She was the helper that came with the Snowy Oven from the New Years Winter Wonderland cruise. They do look quite similar.

Does the goddess help in the kitchen? I have seen her in some of my neighbors' kitchens, but she is not in mine. I have made the recipe three times, force started the game, and I have rebooted my ipad. Maybe I just run into her when they are visiting their restaurant, but I doubt it. The goddess does not help out in the kitchen. Perhaps she's just visiting and dropping off the ingredients. Or maybe it's her twin sister Willow that you saw? ;-)

Thanks for asking this question. I had noticed the same thing, and even asked some of my neighbors. I kept checking my kitchen hoping she would show up. LOL!

I hope Venus drops more hearts in each visit! Visits are few and she just drops one heart each visit. It takes forever to collect six for just one dish.
