Runestones!!

So I'm on act 2 of the dragon tale thing and I need to 'harvest' 45 runestones. Now for starters, I have 53 runestones in storage so I'm guessing those frustratingly don't count?

Secondly I have no idea how I got those runestones and I don't know how to get 45 more. I'm assuming they're a byproduct of harvesting but I never seem to receive any when I harvest my crops, so I don't know how i'm supposed to get the 45 I need in order to progress with the game. Has anyone got any tips?

You need to harvest when prompted and crops under 1 hour duration give very few. I got 18 for 7 farms of 1 hour crops, so have planted 5 hour crops (my usual) and will harvest in the morning.

No the ones from previous Tales harvesting do not count.

I usually plant earlier, so I can harvest when the Act is reached. Of course, having to do Buffbeets immediately prior meant that wasn't possible this time. Unfortunately.

I have rune stones in storage. More than enough to complete the ACT. Are they not being applied? How do I get more?

The rate we are accumulating them, we should be able to craft an island! LOL

Well, diamonddates gave around 17'ish runes per collection, I think? Maybe pumpwings would be the same? I'd do eliteleeks but didn't realize till after I started I'd be in the high level bunch (last time cutoff was 130, and I am 127), and since no dyno mining for me, I REALLY need the food, lol. :)

When you have a goal in a dragon Tales quest to "harvest ## runestones", that's the only time you'll see them when you harvest crops. :)

I checked on mine and it was 2/3 each farm for one hour rushrooms

5-hour food : 12-13 runestones
8-hour food : about 20 runestones
