*NOTE*: The Baron's Tent is currently available to iOS players only. Because it is a "mini game", it cannot be stored OR sold; this is not a bug.

How does the tent work?

1. Every day there's a new grand prize you can purchase. The grand prize is random. All known drops are outlined below & in the Inventory Guide (http://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?76375).
2. Every day you get 3 free cabbages only. If you buy cabbages, remaining ones (above 3) are carried over to the next day but you do not get an additional 3 free ones.
3. In order to get the Grand Prize, you'll need to purchase some cabbages as you need all 6 prizes to get the grand prize and you're only given 3 free cabbages.
4. Even if you do not want to purchase cabbages, throw your three free ones per day (unless you have the Cabbage Hut). You will still get those prizes (the ones behind the Baron's face).
5. Purchases you can make inside the Baron's Tent:
* 1 rotten cabbage = 10 gems
* 4 rotten cabbages = 40 gems
* 10 rotten cabbages = 90 gems
* 22 rotten cabbages = 180 gems

6. In Oct '15, the Cabbage Hut was released in the market for 450 gems (Limit of 1). It drops 1 rotten cabbage on each collection and has a 22-hour timer. The rotten cabbages are "stored" inside the Baron's Tent (not in the player's storage cellar inventory). No reported limit for the number of rotten cabbages that can accrue and be stored in the Baron's Tent.

You can accumulate the cabbages you collect everyday if you don't use the 3 free on the first day.
Start with your 3 free. Don't use them.
Now collect from your cabbage hut. You should have 4 now. Don't use them.
The next day collect from the cabbage hut again. You should now have 5. Don't use them.
Continue each day collecting from the cabbage hut without using any until you have the amount you want or need to hit all 25 spots.
There is also a pending game goal to acquire &/or build the Cabbage Hut.

This has been fixed, the thumbnail in the inventory now matches what is placed on the board. :cool:
You will have to reinstall to see the updated thumbnail.

Unfortunately the rotation for this item, will remain backwards.

It's 3x3, 12-hr timer and her first drop was 1XP, coins & 3 water.

No use as far as I can we. But it's a substantial building that fits well in a corner. I bet it would be good for hiding things you want to camouflage too - rocks, half finished buildings, things you can't store.

If you're trying to decide between the two for usefulness, definitely go with the troll.

I know my prize is always different than others that post what the got on a particular day. So, if people did post uncovered spots they would also need to say what prize working on. I can't see why it wouldn't be ok, but I'll check just in case. If yes, maybe a little matrix could be set up to help other players post their winning combos. I'll be forced to get out a pen if I join in... I am holding out for the Tunnel of Love. Haven't got it in my tent yet. :)

Everytime i play i keep looking for patterns, it would interesting if we could match prizes to a grid. I dont think this should be a problem with the games economy, more people might actually buy cabbages.

Well, I think the prizes behind the Baron's face are entirely random for every player, regardless of the Grand Prize, lol, but here are my stats:
It took throwing rotten cabbages to spots 1-24 for me to get the Tunnel of Love and I got no free cabbages.
That's one expensive 12-hour resource for WATER, lol. :rolleyes:

I also updated the first post with the back of its inventory card. :)
(and it only turns in 2 directions like animals, not 4 directions like buildings.)

Well I was looking for an inventory card, not the thumbnail of the item. I try to have both, the thumbnail I can have in perfect resolution, but I am like card collector. Trying to get the inventor card as well ;)

Btw... Are the rose hedge/tower cards I posted for ya in the thread for the Valentine items ok or do you need the FULL card (I know I kinda cut those short, lol). Just lemme know. :)

OMG!!! LOL, it would appear that the Kissing Booth isn't the only Valentine item with a chance of dropping a cocoa bean because my Tunnel of Love just gave me 4 water and A COCOA BEAN!! LOL

I have yet to get the Fireworks Dragon in my tent--not even one time since his release! It's probably too much to ask for, but I wish we could choose a Grand Prize to try to win when we visit the tent.

it seems to me though, the more cabbages i have, the more it takes to win a prize, sigh.

I noticed too, that some of the old prize's from the Baron's Tent have shown up in the market. Does any know if the Merry-go-round has any drops (can't find it in the inventory list) and I missed the archery target thingy ��, when it was available anyone know if that has been offered here or will be?

No drops, pure deco.

My inventory list is not complete. Any item as of November 2015 should be fairly complete, before that, better use the S8 inventory guide maintained by SW.

So another week and All I get from the silly tent is a cat or dog...sometimes it doesnt even change..ive now had the cupid dog 3 days in a row now. Would love to get the other deco items to add to my carnival area, but alas..I can only look at them in other peoples kingdoms. I REALLY am not impressed with the random nature of this tent. Eeesssh!

Can you get a merry-go-round from the Baron's tent? Never seen that one.

But then again, I never saw anything but the dragon, kitty's and dogs, apart from one time the Troll showed up, and I happened to have enough cabbages to get that one (costed me 24 cabbages tho).

Would love to have the tunnel of love, merry-go-round, or even the kissing-booth (that one is atleast a small building).

Sorry I've been absent as of late, been busy with RL stuff.

Hopefully this can clear up some recent questions and inquiries:

- The Outdoor Bake Sale (deco, no drops, not animated), Merry-Go-Round (YES, it's animated but deco only, no drops), Rose Palisade (deco, no drops, not animated), Ziggs the Pup and Peaches the Kitty (both animated w/8-hr timer & with normal cat/dog drops) were recently in the market for a short time as "limited edition" items, but they are all now gone. They are not currently items you can get in the Baron's Tent but were seen there for the tent's initial release (April '15).

- The Archery Range (16-hr timer, drops an apple w/chance for a golden apple) is not a current item in the tent either; it was there in July '15.

- All CURRENT grand prize items are listed in the first post of this thread.

- For those curious about PREVIOUS grand prizes: There is a link at the top of the first post of this thread to the Baron's Tent in the Building Guide, which lists every Grand Prize and when they appeared in the tent.

- ShibuyaCloth ~ Let me know which inventory items you are missing and if the Building or Inventory Guides don't fill in the blanks for you, maybe I can, especially if it's pix or cards you need. :) (although it might require a new thread if they're not related to the current prizes of this thread)

I have all the cards now, Nat has been a precious provider of screen shoots. I am complete now. Working on the new event. I have gathered all the card fronts on one HUGE page.

Wool - the back of the card says: Used in Crafting Recipes, and is earned from Sheep or the Stables. This is just the description for ordinary wool, nothing special though. What is the 2 gems for ??

Thanks SW, I re-did the Tree, as it i a new sales item. As for the wool, it is currently "as is" in my Database. I have not touched it. I do from time to time work on an item to fill in the gaps, but that is a lot of work. Regs in gems, is the price you need to pay to acquire the items through gems. A more complete example:

Have not yet seen the dragon this month, luckily bought one in jan. Did get Spaz once so far. OMG he fully deserves that nickname, hid him behind a building to begin with but realized I was forgetting to collect him. Now I'm kind if hoping I get to buy him a few more times and make a chorus line :D

My game has been refreshing a lot, sometimes going through the random Loading horse galloping icon and sometimes back pedalling and not completing everything I've tapped.

It did this while I was throwing cabbages today, I won a Spaz (24 throws) placed him and the game refreshed. No Spaz and yet the game thought I had used my cabbages and won a prize for the day, scary but eventually after two reboots it resynched itself to before I had thrown any cabbages.

So I knew the 24th cabbage I threw was the last item (a luminescence) I needed to win Spaz. I immediately touched that square but it was not the luminescence, instead it was a corn, which had been my first item the previous time.
I watched as I rethrew all 24 cabbages in different squares to first time around, and the order the items that came out was (i think) the same list as it had been the first time (corn first through to luminescence last at 24 cabbages). Even though I touched different squares. So I think the squares that you touch do not matter at all!

I'm so waiting for Spaz. I just keep getting that tunnel of love. I've seen it days on days in a row now. Hopefully my game reads the forum. :)

Fingers crossed for you. I had to decide between a second Spaz or a second purple dragon. Never would have thought it but I loved his drops so much I went for Spaz over a purple dragon! Since buying two if him I now have max troll horns and no bones :p He certainly makes the hunter trade so much easier.

Got my fireworks dragon! It cost an arm and two legs but I'm happy since I missed the last sale. Hope it doesn't go on sale for 100 gems next week.
