Guess I may have to take a stab at decorating for Mardi Gras. I wish I'd been around for the Jazz oven and such that you early players have. I like the tables too. Purple isn't my thing, but I'll be buying a few items. It's better than some updates for sure!

I like this, too. Amethyst is the February birthstone. These items look very well designed. I won't have any trouble working them into my decor.

it's a bit much all together like this, but individually i like most of the items. and FABULOUS tiered cakes for our counters! love those! the one with the dots is my favorite so far, but there's a third one that's cut off so i can't really see it.

I'm of the same opinion. The lack of a 2nd appliance and a big floor display makes me think it may not be goals. The stuff is gorgeous though :)

That purple's perfect for Mardi Gras! I was in fact of thinking of doing a Mardi Gras bakery but thought there are too few purple items so this would be perfect (if not gem-heavy, that is...)

We had the same theme a year ago. Too bad you can't be original s8. First multiple weddings, now amethyst. I have an amethyst fountain in my bakery from a year ago.

They ARE very beautiful. And purple is my fav color and is just what I need to break up all the pink in my place. When I saw them I said I need to cook them immediately. I had to stop cooking to save coins, as I'm down to around 400,000 again. I just hope the ovens aren't uber expensive otherwise it'll be slow to build as mnsh as I'd like. Bad enough I could only afford four of last weeks oven.

I think I have all the coin items I wanted from the sale so I should be fine. For now.

I think this update has a better (than RS's update) mix of coin and gem items. I love the theme and feel it's within reach for most of us.

The update looks very nice, and the three new recipes are very appealing.
Just a bit disappointed at how the new recipes are not as profitable...It costs 2,080 coins to make Amethyst Forever, and only get a revenue of 3,800 coins? Really?

Love the new cake recipes, super pretty. Anyone have any other ideas of what recipes go well with Valentine's Day? I've mastered all the past Vday ovens. The movie night oven had some good chocolate covered things as well.

I'm very pleased with this update, great job you guys! The tables are so pretty and add an interesting touch to vday decor. bakeries that have included new amethyst corners look so striking. the cakes are gorgeous and so are the displays! the cake displays make me feel better about not having the winter wedding cake display lol.

I agree so much! They did a great job on this one. The bright colors in the update are very visually striking. A very bold statement when you use the pieces right. Plus, actually going through the decorations tab, I noticed there was kind of a lack of the color purple before this update. It was weird I didn't notice it before. lol

This was such an awesome release of items! I love everything single thing about it! And I love that it's versatile and can be used throughout the year. It's so nice to have the pop of beautiful color, yet one that can be blended with other themes, such as Easter, or with the other Amethyst items from the past. I would love to see every month be such a great, complete offer like this...& so reasonably priced! Thank you!
