Just checked the archives and as suggested by jjblueeyes, it was indeed the battlesteed tournament that this duplicates. Unfortunately, I never did this tournament as I did not feel competitive and spent my time upgrading my dragons.

I am not agree that we don`t need pillows...Cause I and many of my neighbours haven`t still had the last individual prize...and It took 10 days community to reach 150 M pillows for the second prize....no we have got 3 days to make another 100 M pillows....According to me, If we had a Flash tournament of 3 days...it would be better...- new dragon..and more pillows...But this is just my oppinion...however

If tickling fails, just sell the babies and try again...

Thank you for the advice! I've noticed your results in recent battles, and they are convincing. I think I'll send in my level 10 commons more frequently, and see what happens. Don't know if I can bring myself to sacrifice the babies like that, though! :)

We were informed the tournament is lasting longer then the event and this is the reason not to receive pillows...We collected 150 Millions of pillows for 10 days...and for the rest of the days we should collect another 100 millions of pillows According to me if it was flash tournament, which is 3 days, everybody will win - pillows and dragons...but however...we should make fun...it is just a game ...Good luck. I am gonna cross fingers for everyone to collect the final individual prize.

Just checked the archives and as suggested by jjblueeyes, it was indeed the battlesteed tournament that this duplicates. Unfortunately, I never did this tournament as I did not feel competitive and spent my time upgrading my dragons.

pernmagic & Hawk....I'm glad the tip was helpful. I've been using my results as well, only had one loss so far with them. I posted mine earlier if they might help. I'm giving all that credit to sim. I just looked after the idea was plunked out there.

I had a great start yesterday then didn't get much sleep last night followed by a nice little headache today. I ended up out most of the morning/afternoon. I think I'm finally able to focus enough to get back into this.

Wow, a level 3 Water just took down that nasty level 14 Ninja, after he defeated Jack [9], Fire [10], and several others! Crazy stuff!

Frostbite 3 worked for me against Ninja but not Immortal. I think I'll take Oz's suggestion and try Queen next!
Update: Queen lvl 8 did not work for me... I might try Knightmare 3...

Well, it appears Ninja is the new tough to beat dragon. Ridiculous. I've never spent so long on one dragon. Tried every single suggestion and have been stuck for an entire 24 hours. This kind of situation is what makes players get frustrated and give up, not want to spend more gold. At least in my opinion anyway. I'm not about to spend gold on the 15th round with 15 more to go that are sure to get even more difficult.

I won against Immortal before using Water dragon. Water helped me beat this beast around three times before, but it didn't work this time. This time I found another pattern. I beat Immortal using stone type dragon, Mossrock (mine still level one), bB. So you can try either Water or any Stone type dragons (IMO, level doesn't matter here). Good luck. :)

I used level 10 metal on Ninja and Immortal...I use bm(whichever is stronger of the two)...I think the magic took immortal out though. Grats to all who are done, and good luck to those struggling.

The real stars this time as usual were my Diamond 15 and Gilded Knight 15 both of who got much more play than usual. Yes I think that's the nature of the beast it varies from tournament to tournament. The last two were pretty rough for me and I used a couple ultimatels with Centurian. This one I considered not doing but needed something to do and I hate skipping because duplicates tend to happen.

Interesting how we all have different experiences! I have some good Level 15 dragons, but am struggling with this. Rainbow Sentinel, Diamond and Black Knight have all lost battles where they have extremely high odds. I don't think Diamond 15 has won once for me this tournament. So seems you and I are in the same camp this tournament. Crusader, on the other hand, just send Astromancer flying with one punch.

You don't always need them, I finally beat Ninja with Forest level 7, Immortal with Fire level 4 and Highland with Air level 6, after 4-5 losses !
My results are on page 7, I don't have much dragons, just some rare and when I can I use the color calculator I use it but when I don't have the "good" dragons I throw my common in the arena so I keep my dragons with high income producing coins (yes I'm level 35 right now, still need coins :p)

Dragons which produce a lot of coins per hour, I keep them away from the arena if my opponent is too..."specific" to win with special colors which I don't have, beacause once beat, dragons have to be heal to produce coins again so I don't want to throw my butterfly (high income at low level) if he has the same chance than a fire to win the round :)

Surprisingly, Highlander went down quite quietly to my Gold level 10 - after thumping Diamond 15 resoundingly. I can sleep easier knowing he is done for! :)

Najchi, I managed to beat him with my landworm level 10. You could try healing him and trying again? Or one of the dragons that have the same colors (gaia, umm devil maybe?) or you could try just plain fire, he's pretty brutal too.

With Diamond hybrids you can ignore the diamond part (unless you have a Diamond yourself) and just attack the other part of the dragon - in this case the Zodiac... Check the chart on page 1 of this thread... You can use red (incl fire), red-green, black-red, red-blue, white-red as well as Cosmic, Mythic and Metal... Don't worry too much about level... even babies can beat those high level dragons! good Luck!

Whew, ripscale is on the nest! I have to say I definitely feel the pain of those not able to take down opponents, the past 3 or 4 tourneys were close calls for me due to being stuck...this one though, I think I had like 4 losses total, 2 in the early stages. Nothing says haha more than seeing your level 2 love opponent take down your level 15 beast!

Immortal ran through over 10 dragons for me. Looking at all of the suggestions the color white stood out to me. Granted i used the suggestions here and died horribly but i think the game picks a color from the dragon your using to "lead" the attack on your current opponent possibly.

Anyways I used lvl 15 Light bB to beat him. Hope the rest of the tourney isn't as daunting

I am dealing with this jerk as well. In the past I've won with diamond, infinity, quetzal and most recently beast 15. None have worked so far. Good luck. I hope we both get it down!

Riptide on nest went down to Banshee bbb , lost RS probably exhausted from all his wins for me ....... Guess I had better enjoy an easier tourney for me too even though I ultimated on Highlander he was the only big pain but just know it won't last :)

This tournament was very special and nostalgic on my island since it was a repeat of the Battlesteed tournament and he was my first ever champ!

So I knew from the beginning that this was going to be a good one for us. Battlesteed has always been a true champ for me but this was an extra special occasion for him to shine. And boy, did he ever! He took care of most of the rounds all by himself and KOed Divine, Balloon and Ripscale! The last one was an especially nice touch and the whole island broke into wild cheers and applause. I think they're going to be up all night celebrating our decorated champ Battlesteed!

Diamond was in charge of beating the champs and performed admirably, KOing Immortal at once and sending the rest home after a few tries.

No one is in line for the spa and I had approximately 8 losses altogether.

This time was so much easier than when I was battling for Battlesteed. Then I didn't have a champ or a Diamond and had to ultimate 3 or 4 rounds if memory serves.

I don't think Diamond 15 has won once for me this tournament. So seems you and I are in the same camp this tournament. Crusader, on the other hand, just send Astromancer flying with one punch.
Oooooo....Crusader....I might just level that guy up to 15 so I have another Diamond option apart from Infinity. Although I see we just got ANOTHER Dragon Tales event thrown at us within seconds of the community event ending, so for now my dragons are on food restrictions!

The only straight green and white I have is Bride lvl. 1. I'll try that next. I read someone's stone recommendation so I used Idol and then stone and green w/ Malachite and lost both. I tried Candy Candy because it's white and green w/ red and nope! I'm just battling for "fun" at this point, I don't think I'll win this tournament.

My island now has a Ripscale dragon! The last 3 rounds were surprisingly easy. Although Ripscale had my Beast down to a sliver of health, my Beastie boy prevailed in the end ;)

I really enjoyed this tourney - a bit of challenge (mainly from Immortal & Black Diamond), but nothing too frustrating.

Autumn 10 worked for me after many losses.

The capitalised letter usually indicates the hit that caused the major damage, i.e. The critical hit.

Diamond had a shockingly bad tournament, I'm not sure her win in round 29 really constituted redemption. She is definitely in the dog box. No breeding Den privileges for her for a week!
