Mineing for expansion

When can i start mining for land again?? My mine is closed for land and it takes way to long doing it with mystic maps...been playing every day for over 3 yrs level 176 so im kinda bummed on the whole mining for land just as i got used to it it closes: (

As Hibarara posted, once you expand to all the areas, your mine will lock up .
Here is a picture of mine, I am fully expanded and my mine is now locked.
Have you expanded to all the areas?

Once this side is locked, you will not be able to mine for food any longer, but if you mine the other side, you will sometimes get food rewards.
