When I bin a load of nails, my next few Cid visits seem to give me something I actually need, like hammers or blueprints. Picked this tip up from someone on here when I was having the same problem as you. I'm not sure if it works for everyone, but it works in my game :)

guess you have a lot of nails.
so delete 10% or 20% of them, to get the other parts you needed. - nails are his favorite drop:rolleyes:
