Just curious on what other people think.

When your neighbor asks for "basic parts" does this include oven elements?

Of course opinions may vary and like most things, this is subjective. But I'd like to know what y'all think. I think it's kind of interesting how we automatically lump certain parts as "basic parts" yet the oven element seems unique somehow. Does anyone else feel like this? Or is that just me?

I feel like it has more or less become THE basic part for Bakery Story, especially over the last year or so. My neighbors that take parts have more or less switched to asking for oven elements completely, unless there's a new appliance (and therefore a new part) or if they're building an older specialty appliance.

I'm not sure I'd consider the screws, paint, knobs, nozzles, etc. basics anymore, simply because they haven't been used in so long. I'd love to see that change, though; I've got piles of those parts gathering dust and rust :p
