These are some of the valentine pink animals, decorations and nature items available from the Love Shack back in 2013.

Edit: some items are new and not from the LS.

The crafting symbol is there as for those with the LS can craft/buy animals (with gems of course). The gem price for the animals is the same in the LS, except that the chickens are for coins in the market. They are 20 gems in the LS.

The 2013 Valentines event wasn't one quest. It was a four week event with about 30 quests. The Love Shack as it is now isn't the same building as it was then either, a number of crafts was removed and all the stuff that could be bought from the market for gems has been added to it.

I wish they've added The Love Spire to the items for sale like they did in 2014 tho, would liked a couple more pink towers :)

And *that* is exactly why I won't be buying any VD trees this year.
I have one of each tree from a couple years' ago and ended up having to give them to Sabina.
There should be the ability to store both the baby versions (before watering) and the fully grown versions of these trees, like we can with the pink Blythewood trees.
If S8 changes the coding to STORE them, or if there was a tree for COINS, I'd probably buy some more...but I'm not getting stuck with more pink trees year round just because they cost me GEMS & I can't store them away after Valentine's.

Thanks for bringing back the Valentine's stuff to the market, S8... But all of these have been recycled for the last THREE years... I'm sure there'll be more stuff in the Baron's tent next month but sheesh, I was hoping for at least ONE new Valentine item in the market. *sigh*

Most hedges are 3 gems each. The Queen's tower is 30,000 coins. These are 45 gems! Are you kidding me? That's absolutely ridiculous. I might have bought some if they were a reasonable price, but I won't be buying these! It's too bad.

I came here looking to see if we only get ONE rose hedge for 45 gems....are you sure? have you bought any to see? for that many gems I want to make sure before I buy any. If we got maybe 10 for that many gems I would get them, I have the rose arches going into my farm area, these would be so pretty.

Are you able to confirm that the rose hedge is one or more for 45 gems? these would go perfectly with my rose arches! but not at 45 gems for one single piece of hedge. thankyou! :)

The valentine animals spawn lovecupines, not fangbeasts, so they can be a big help when you need rattails. They don't drop coins in the monster hunts though.

Similarly the valentine mushrooms and plants also spawn lovecupines. The fluttermush ring is great at dropping glimmerdust too.

Too bad that it looks like yet another Valentine's without the love shack.

ShibuyaCloth, your pictures are so tempting! I already have 1 each of the gem animals from 2014 (extras of the chickens) but I'd love to splurge on keeping baby versions of each animal too! I'm not a hoarder, but I'm a bit of a collector and they are just so adorable.

Only 2 problems. One is that I'm really chintzy with my gems since I stopped buying gems a year ago after 1 too many big gem traps. Like some other players, I'm waiting till S8 implements a gem confirmation button. Ha, I know, I'm not holding my breath. I've just had to adjust my playing accordingly and avoid temptation in the baron's tent lol. It would cost 150 gems to get the 3 gem babies, which I wouldn't mind it's just that I don't know if that will prevent me from getting something else later else. Please, S8 just give us a gem confirm! I bet you'll see a rise in gem sales if you do.

Second problem is that I have so little room for extra deco items. I haven't had my valentine rainbows or fountain out in ages, or even Griselda's fountain, not to mention numerous deco prized that S8 has gotten so fond of. We just seem to be getting hit back to back with limited time goals requiring many visits to buildings with 9-square footprints and long refresh times, like the markets. I don't like to do too much redecorating each Wednesday so I'm trying to keep out a generous number of my buildings so that I'm prepared if needed.

As stated before, yes they are normal chickens in pink. In your inventory those chicks & chicken will not tack up with the Love Shack chicks & chickens. So you can have 2 stacks of each (as I do).

The Valentine animals in the market don't advertise as dropping chocolate, chocolate eggs, chocolate truffles or red ribbons. ... That would have been a few more slaps in the face for those of us who don't and probably will NEVER HAVE the Love Shack if they did.

The only thing that would make the love shack great is the ability to craft alicorns (provided the to rare parts drop from adventures), otherwise it's pretty much useless by now.

In the love Shack you "craft" them with gems ;) You can call it bought/spawn/summoned, and you need 1 energy to claim it on top of the gems. Not from the market.

:) the LS is a crafting building, like a workshop. It's the same as crafting a beam for example and then you use 1 energy to collect your beam from the workshop as it has a tick over it.

So instead of having a contest where you can win these like they did previously you now have to use gems to buy them? And instead of giving you gems for downloading the boring clue game and playing several days to level 7 you get one lousy troll coin? The only prize I see you can buy with gold is the pink chickens. Happy with the pink path :) It's so nice in my kingdom :) I had all love-animals from previous event, but I never got the chance to buy the love-trees, so I did that now :) But they are overpriced, especially since they don't dropje love-wood. Same goed for the love-animals: if they had dropped chocolate, I definately would have bought them.

Too bad he LS isn't available, not even for gems, but since it's been downgraded, it's not that interesting anymore.

Agreed! I was so excited to see the fountain, but won't be buying it without animation and/or drops. The pink alicorn also triggers them if you have it. And I'm pretty sure any of the pink plants if you got any of those....The same thing happened to me when I got the pink alicorn. And yes, it took months! I just let it sit and made extra wooden swords to use up extra wood. I finally finished the goal this past monster hunt when I got the pink chicken. It doesn't lead to anything else, so I wouldn't rush or gem skip....just let it sit.

I rushed over to collect from my pink chickens when I read this to tricker the goal. The lovecupine is so cute with the pink ribbon and everything! I wish we could have it as a pet. I want to hug it, not clobber it with a wooden sword! :D

I second that. Does anybody know why they are gone? I was also going to decorate this weekend, and the older items were much more interesting than what's there now. Will they be back? Is there a reason there was no notice that they were expiring? Did I miss it? I wanted to stock up on pink trees & flowers, the rose items, and the arches and lampposts. I agree, the current items don't interest me. I purchased some of the path while it was there, and the new candy path is too much like the confetti path. Have dragon eggs from adventures but not what's needed to hatch them
