I'm level 49 but didn't get the Sideline Sweets goal. Which is fine because to cook the new recipes you have to be level 51. So much new stuff to do!:)

You can collect footballs through cooking the Queso Dip and Veggie Platter.

*I think the little Referee girl comes every hour and half. My first visit was 5:30 and next one 7:00pm est. And she only dropped hot sauce and blue cheese both times. But definitely good amounts of each! Unlike the yeti!;)

The commercial range is where the Queso is located. I'm not certain what level but I do know it is available at level 16.

Can the mods please ask the devs why most prizes in RS2 are animals? I'm a huge animal lover but I'd love more restaurant based prizes for a change, like tables, chairs, windows etc. My restaurant looks more like a zoo than a place to eat! I think it's S8 being a bit lazy since they already have so many animal based games it's just easy to give them out as rewards. It's not very sanitary having so many pets in an eating environment! :p I'm going to give this event a miss as I don't want, or need more animals in my restaurant!

The commercial range is getting a battering on this quest! When I was on the lower levels I stupidly wasted 200 gems on a third one and now it usually sits in storage. Pretty happy for it now though :D

Hi Yummy_bistro! Click on your appliances tab and you should see the celebration stove there. It is purple and I believe is 250 coins for the first one. You should be able to purchase it. The chateau oven is level 33. I'm not sure which one you were saying you didn't have!;) I don't have the chateau oven either but that's just because I'm too cheap to spend 390,000 coins on it yet! I would guess that you would have to have the quest that has the churro dog as the reward to be able to get it. I'm level 49 and do have juice bar but not chateau and I don't have that quest either.

Having quests back to back is one thing but not being able to get all recepeies because of my low level is another, it makes me sad that high leveled players have access to limited recepeice that the lower leveled will never get, it doesn't help that I,m the type of person who loves to collect every recepie and master them 🙁, when I first joined this game it used to be fun, I loved everything about it but overtime it kept changing and changing till it's no longer fun for me, I put a lot of effort in this game and it's sad that I have to say goodbye, it's like the game punishes those who are lower level while RS1 is very player friendly, I have been playing for 2 years now and it's time to leave, it was fun while it lasted and I really hope the game gets more player friendly in the future, 💔

It. Looks like you win puppies based on collecting balls which you do by the tasks. Look at your to do and there should be 3 different puppies with over 200 balls requested for each

However, this am instead of telling me how many balls I've collected it has now switched to a % for each puppy. And the % is not the same for each puppy even though they all are collecting the same balls. Anyway be figured out what's going on there?

When you've finished it, the recipe is permanent. You can check it on the Celebration Stove is no time limit.

Some but not all of the celebration stove recipes give gems. The ones that reward gems need a special drop from a character who visits your cafe.

I too am loving this event! The drop rates are making it very easy to stay on top of all the secret sauce and blue cheese dip requirements. I'm not at a level to have the powdered sugar but that's ok, I have plenty to do. This is the first event where I have had more than one recipe goal line to complete. It's going to make me hate potatoes with a passion, though... :)

Thanks to beckycarter for posting the later steps...it let me see that I needed to get the mixer so I could eventually make the meat lovers pizza. I had been putting that off since pizza oven items aren't included in cruises, but now I'm making my first batch of dough and will soon learn a new recipe.

I do like the drop rate in this one, the one thing that I don't really care for is that it's asking for dishes that I haven't even learned yet/on appliances I don't even have. For me it's a very costly goal. I don't have a lot of money as it is, and I'm not sure it's even worth it, for me anyways.

Can the mods please ask the devs why most prizes in RS2 are animals? I'm a huge animal lover but I'd love more restaurant based prizes for a change, like tables, chairs, windows etc. My restaurant looks more like a zoo than a place to eat! I think it's S8 being a bit lazy since they already have so many animal based games it's just easy to give them out as rewards. It's not very sanitary having so many pets in an eating environment! :p I'm going to give this event a miss as I don't want, or need more animals in my restaurant!

You arent kidding about the pets. Im tired of seeing the cutesy silliness in bakery and both restaurant games. Its annoying and I know its just pixels but I dont want no hair in my food! Or no pets slapping food out of folks hands to snatch it up. Reminds me of my friends cat stealing cutlery off the table for thanksgiving. And their not batting an eye, like its normal for pets to just invite themselves onto the chairs and tables. Its gross.

But I wouldnt ignore the goals because of the animals. Theyre just a small part of this. The main thing is unlocking 3 recipes. Which I badly need and wanted. I hope I can finish. I had 20 mastery spices and im down to about 7. Def not enough to go around, but with 3 separate goals, its so hard to keep up still.

I'm on level 38 and I do not have the 'Sideline Sweets' quest...
It requires recipes that you most like dont have yet. Think it should be available for you, would just have to gem past them if you want yo complete the quest.

I think there have been quite a bit of a new recipes/appliances recently. My only issue is that new recipes tend to be on celebration stove and with gem recipes being on that stove too makes it impossible for me to cook anything else there. It would be nice to have new recipes on chateau oven/stove, salad bar and drink maker. This event we finally got recipes that are made not only on commercial range/diner stove, but deep fryer, salad bar and chateau oven. And I really like that because most of the time I don't cook much on those appliances. Now would be nice to have some new permanent recipes on those appliances!

I agree, I'm not a football fan so it's actually feels a little like a chore for me to get the recipes because I don't particularly care about the event in general! But I like having as much recipes so hope to get those ones too!

It. Looks like you win puppies based on collecting balls which you do by the tasks. Look at your to do and there should be 3 different puppies with over 200 balls requested for each

However, this am instead of telling me how many balls I've collected it has now switched to a % for each puppy. And the % is not the same for each puppy even though they all are collecting the same balls. Anyway be figured out what's going on there?

if you want to level up really bad i have 1 way for you, i've been doing this form lv 46 and i'm up 1 lv each day. you can cook fried eggs and fast finish them, it all free when u buy eggs and fast finish them (gaining 1 exp each time) so you only need to cook continuously 5 hrs and gain about 3500 exp. but it is really crazy :))

Puppy chow is a type of snack mix, usually made with a crispy cereal like Chex and melted chocolate and peanut butter. There's lots of recipes online if you google it. It kind of looks like crunchy dog food, hence the name. :)

What level are you? Powered sugar needed for hush puppies recipe on deep fryer and churro dog recipe on chateau oven. I think you have to be over level 50 in order to make these recipes. I don't think it depends on you being on android.

Well the only 3 recipes that are staying IF you completed quests are Loaded Nachos, Cheesesteaks and Puppy Chow. If you didn't compete quests those recipes will disappear.

Any other recipes such as churro dog, hush puppies, queso dip, potato skins, buffalo wings and veggie plate will be removed after the quest.

Well the only 3 recipes that are staying IF you completed quests are Loaded Nachos, Cheesesteaks and Puppy Chow. If you didn't compete quests those recipes will disappear.

Any other recipes such as churro dog, hush puppies, queso dip, potato skins, buffalo wings and veggie plate will be removed after the quest.
Thank you. I unlocked the nachos and cheesesteaks. I have tons of secret sauce and blue cheese dip. I sure wish the wings and veggie plates were staying. Lol

I passed 51 in the middle of this event unfortunately so there is not much chance I 3* churro dogs and hush puppies. Anyone know how many gems it takes to skip 3*ing those two?

It's 60 gems for hush puppies and 60 gems for churro dogs (to get them to level 3). So in total it's 120 gems to skip last step

Thanks for the info catfoodie. I've saved plenty of gems and that's actually not bad to complete the event. Pretty sure I can make it to 2*.

I just want to clarify. If I finish my last hush puppy; then my veggie platter, wings and churro will disappear? These are good money makers, so I want to do as many as possible!

Well churro dog, veggie platter, wings hush puppies will disappear in 4 days when the event is over. But you can continue cooking then for the 4 days til the end of the event. Even if you master those recipes you will be able to make them! And if you finish the quest lines you still can continue cooking them.

In my post I just meant that those recipes are not permanent. The permanent recipes are loaded nachos, cheesesteaks and puppy chow if you complete quests!

Even if you master those recipes you will be able to make them! And if you finish the quest lines you still can continue cooking them.

Finished veggie platter and potato skins, almost done with queso and then it's on to the buffalo wings. I used most of my mastery spice on the potatoes due to the long restock time and saved the rest for the buffalo wings since 29 is just an evil amount of things to make. And I got all 3 puppies, so that's good too.

Buffalo wings....don't like them in real life and tired of them in this game! Only 20 more to go. Hopefully I get some more vanilla as I am out of mastery spice. :(

And I'm finally DONE! That was plain luck as I was close to geting 1-2 stars in regular dishes, so I got some extra Mastery Spices. Not sure how its gona be on the next event..

I don't understand how you are suppose finish when the powdered sugar is dropped erratically (not every 90 minutes as posted) and when it is dropped, it's not enough to make the Churro Dog (what ever that is!).

My last 2 buffalo wings were just started with 4 hrs left in the event. Wow. Those seemed to take forever!

The worst part was that nearly everything required the same appliance. Hot sauce, blue cheese dip, buffalo wings, queso....all the same appliance. It took a lot of time that way.

I agree, it was much easier for me mastering churro dog, hush puppies and veggies plate because it required different appliances. Buffalo wings and queso dip were much harder coz I had to constantly collect sauce and cook something else. But overall I though the event was fun, with mastery spice it wasn't that hard as I thought it would be, just took almost full 2 weeks to finish all recipes :>

Oh boo, 90 minutes left and I am nowhere near finishing the buffalo wings. I need 50 gems and unless I purchase some, I get nada.

I had to buy 120 gems to skip the other things. To unlock the other 2 recipes because I just couldnt play enough, to make enough and finish in time.

Im due 14 gems from dragon story and will see if I can manage a little more in this tiny bit of time. I like the numbers of the steak sandwiches and really dont want to skip it now.

Not enough time for the Puppy Chow recipe. Which I don't mind. EVERYTHING needs sugar. I hate new recipes that require sugar (unless its a gem recipe)

I set my priorities and didn't worry about it this time. Didn't make it and don't really care. Too busy with settling my mom into a retirement home and my cancer volunteer work. Got back from doing some therapy on a lady who will be 99 in a few months. Checked the timer and 11 min to go. Thought about spending gems to finish but decided not to bother. Off to another meeting for a committee I just became part of due to accepting a new role.
