While we have no returning appliances in the sale, we do have two returning recipes on existing appliances!

We got the Valentine Cupcake on the Regular Oven. Note: the Android version doesn't show the timer.

You can always drag an item over the "grass" to the side of your bakery (or even over some tables or such) the item will be outlined in red, meaning you can't place it (or accidentally buy it) but you will be able to see the item clearly- the right size and without the annoying "Buy" label too. Hope this helps!

Ugh! I have 1.7 million coins right now. Havent cooked in over a week to save. I WANT at least 3 dozen of those rose columns!!!!!

And I can buy more of those heart shaped swan thingys. I may get a 2nd love picnic and will def get 2 of the lucky fountains.

Im just deciding if I want to bother with any boxes. Since I wasnt cooking and opened that lame box last week 3 times (why did I bother, when I know it will be useless things...kicking myself now...AGAIN) Im low on gems. Im at about 119 right now. Thankfully, we have enough days so I can save some coins and maybe think of buying gems. So I can gave a fun filled valentine decorating blowout next month.

And no truffle chairs? Storm8.....you disappoint us! Oh, love that new tile too. Will def get a few of those.

Thank you, for that info!!! I have ovens out from goals and Halloween and wouldnt have known these were on the regular oven other. I have a couple hours left to finish the goals and then im whipping out all 28 ovens and baking!!!

This is awesome. I wish we had the love muffins too, but beggars cannot be choosy.

Hello folks. Planning on buying a few of the re-released valentine items but noticed that it was marked as available for only so many days (18 days or so). If I purchase these items and keep them in my inventory, will I be able to purchase more after the 18 days have passed? Or am I stuck with the amount I bought during the 18 days?

Soo glad they brought back the Rose Column! It's incredibly cute. Been lusting over it since I started playing a few months ago. ^_^

You only get the amount that you buy during the time. Even though you'll have them in stock in your inventory, you won't be able to continue purchasing.

Thanks for compiling everything, pixiegamer! I went ballistic over the rose columns! :p While the gem items are cheaper this time compared to last year's sale, the coin items don't have a discount -- which works for me since I already have those but some people will have to cough up a lot of coins on this sale.

I wish someone from the team (Kooky? :D) starts a separate thread like this for the RS sale with pcabral's compilation because it's easily lost in the update thread. And thanks for the sale, S8! Didn't think I'd see one again tbh so this is nice.

I'm fine with the gem prices but I'm a little shocked to see the rose columns priced at 90,000 coins each. Were they so expensive before they're removed?

I'm also thinking how many I should get since I'm hoping to use them at times other than Valentine's as well but my bakery is generally not pink...

If they would give us a Valentine's bundle that'll be great too! :)

I'm not big into Valentine's but really pleased to get the lucky fountain. I've wanted that for ages. I also bought the yummy snacks. I'd never seen that before and it goes great with the recent Asian items. Everything else is too pink for me lol. I'm still well happy with the 2 things I bought though. Plus I'm really happy for everyone else. :)

Me too! I hope they bring back more - I saw Mahjong tables and dancing lions in my neighbor's bakery. I think they're from 2011/ 2012 and will go very well with the current update.

And I'm now thinking of re-decorating for Chinese Valentine's Day with those :)

The rose columns are expensive because of the price hiked back then. I remember it used to be half the price.

You're right! There's a mahjong table too. I got one stored in my inventory. Was a newbie back then and couldn't afford to buy more. Totally regretted it! :(

Anyone noticed the Candy Cane Maker has the 9 hour candy canes out with the Valentine sale? I just noticed a few minutes ago when I was digging around for an oven that I didn't master yet.

So what does this and the valentine cupcake on the regular oven mean? If you master to level 4 before the timer runs out does the recipe stay on that oven or no matter what when the timer expires the recipe is gone? And the reason to release the candy cane at the end of January is.......?:confused:

I mastered the recipe when it originally came out and it wasn't available to me again until this limited time release so I think when the timer is up then the recipe will be gone again too.

Also, could somebody post a picture of what the candy canes look like on a counter?

Like with the other sale items, it will most likely expire when the timer runs out. I say 'most likely' because, while this has happened with the majority of brought-back recipes in Restaurant Story (can't recall when Bakery had it before), two recipes actually stayed beyond the timer last year.

No idea why the candy cane would be brought back to the Candy Cane Maker in January though. I hope that one stays on the Candy Cane Maker!

Hope that helps :) Also, if you'd like to preview it in your own bakery, you can tap it once to get it on the floor, then slowly drag it onto an occupied space until the flooring turns from green to red. That way, you can see what it would look like without the 'Buy Now' label on top ;)

Would have been nice to have Candy Cane Maker also available for purchase. I only have one oven. Not sure I'll be able to finish the Candy Cane recipe over 17 days.

I have one candy cane maker too, don't think mastering is going to happen (have the first gem already from before they randomly removed the recipe for no reason) but I'll keep cooking to see how far I get, though it's tough to track progress with the limited sign over the mastery bar.

It was Chinese New Year update, plus old Valentine's items/crates sale. I like we had such a large sale, gave new players chance to buy items. I just wish during Halloween and Christmas we've sales too. I did notice alot players purchased gems for this sale as mentioned in previous posts, hope Storm8 did too and we'll get more sales like this in future.

Anyone noticed the Candy Cane Maker has the 9 hour candy canes out with the Valentine sale? I just noticed a few minutes ago when I was digging around for an oven that I didn't master yet.

As to the Rose Columns, are they full size columns? The pLain white Marble Column costs $100K in Restaurant, so if full size $90K is reasonable IMO.

I spent 500 gems on the boxes I wanted the 1st place wedding display. I have so many Valentine display and love games aghhh. Atleast I got 2 fountains out of it though lol. I really really love their vday sales but wished they didn't bring back the same boxes as last year.

There is also a Classic Bread Oven that has a recipe on it suitable for Valentine's Day.

Recipe is L'amour Special.
It is a bread, heart shaped with a rose.
12 hour is the time on recipe.

When did the Valentine cupcake disappear? Went out today thinking there were several days on the timer. Came home and the recipe had disappeared. I was pretty close to mastering.

It was annoying how the x days left bar covered most of the mastery bar. I was always guessing how far I was until it neared the end of each level.

It's still there. I see it in my oven. There are 4 days left on the timer. I agree about the poor choice of where the timer is placed though. I also had to guess often.

It was gone on my ovens at 4:30 today.

Annoying! It is still there but moved to 7th place instead of 1st!! 4 days left!! I stored all my ovens this afternoon. Should be able to finish mastering Level 4 now.

Is it maybe some in game pop up for value pack offer? Where it's sold as bundle. You can buy the oven, gems, and coins altogether for a limited time for advertised money amount. Remember even though game is free storm8 sells gems, certain decor/appliances for actual money. It's how free games make profit.

It's a package. You GET 2500 coins and 25 gems and the Forever Oven when you PAY $1.99.

You can't pay 25 gems and 25000 coins to get the oven, if that's what you mean.

The others are correct on Value packs you will have pay Cash for these. You cannot use your existing gems or coins to purchase the Value Packs.

I master everything regardless of what it is just for the gems. Also, I'm pretty sure there's an earlier post in here where we determined they were going to be removed for everybody regardless of if they were mastered or not.

I mastered it for gems too and move on to other recipes which I have not mastered. I dont usually cook the recipes which I have mastered unless they yield high profit.

Me too! We used to have a big St Patrick's day sale but not this year...

If we can have all the 1st and 2nd prizes in the spring boxes in a mega sale like the valentine's one it would be awesome.

i'm so upset to find out almost two years later that you brought back the candy canes during a valentine's day (?!) sale. there was no sign to indicate you had brought that recipe back so i missed it even though i was daily playing the game back then (as i play still now.)

PLEASE return the candy cane recipe to the candy cane maker. please. it's called a candy cane maker. :(
