Gramps has disappeared from my bakery 48 hours before end of goal :(

As above. Gramps suddenly stopped appearing so I am seriously short on marshmallows. I checked the main forum to see if this had happened to everyone as part of the quest but I don't think it has...it probably means I won't be able to complete this one and I'm on the last goal :(
