Gems from adventures

Is it just me or are the gem drops from adventures getting extremely rare? I sent my knights out every day, changing the type of adventure and I only got gems back once in the past 10 days. Is this something related to the "economy of the game" or is it just a streak of bad luck? :confused:

Bad luck. It is still y god source of gems, although not truck loads. The best remains new game releases.
