Raw Materials (Dragon Hatching quest) Deep Mine Issue?

Hello,

I hate to post a new thread just for seeking information, but the search function here doesn't ever bring up anything relevant to what I am searching. Even when using the exact name of a quest or item... and the information here is extremely difficult to sift thru to find what you're looking for. I cannot even find the thread containing the information about this quest.
With that said lol.. heres my problem:
On the quest "Raw Materials" for hatching the dragon egg from the Forgotten Roost, I am unable to obtain the item "1 Large Diamond" from the Deep Mine. I have 1 Deep Mine at level 2 and another at level 1 that I made just to try to get this item. I received the other 2 items on the first collection, and have never had this much difficulty obtaining an item. I think there might be a glitch with this because when clicking on the "GO" button in the quest log, it will take me into the market where you buy the deep mine if I only have the level 2 one out. If the level 1 one is out also, then it will go to that on my board.

I have been collecting from both every 10 hours for over 2 weeks and still have not received the Large Diamond.
Is this an extremely rare drop with 0.0001% droprate? or is there actually a bug with this quest?

It may take many deep mine collections to get that diamond.

For more info, take a browse through the thread on the dragon egg. (Can't quite recall if there is also a chance of finding one in large rock piles or not)

I'll chime in and give you some broad help... :)

1. If you want to post, there is a Help Me (http://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?65682-Help-Me-Thread!-What-Goal-Do-I-Do-Next) sticky thread where you can ask for help with anything. It's better to use this existing thread as duplicate threads are closed immediately.

2. The fastest way to find what you're looking for about a goal is to use the Castle Story Outline Guide (http://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?78821-Castle-Story-Story-Outline-Guide). This Guide has every main storyline listed and links to the game thread and the post in the Main Goal Guide.

3. Everything you need to find can be found through the Hub (at the top of the page).

And as NorthWoods posted, the diamond is just one of those very rare drops and it will come eventually.
