Neighbor limit

I was wondering if there is a limit to the number of neighbors you can have in the Farm Story 2 game? I have a certain number and though I have added more the number of neighbors doesn't change.

The limit is 2000, but it won't load the whole list at once. As you visit neighbors, they cycle through so that you eventually see the rest of your neighbors.
