I found that using the 'pure' animals works for me on the lower levels. So Skyger, Pandaffodil etc against the level 1 animals. Don't give up.

We have never had Realm Runes as prizes in the tournament before, Gems a couple times but no Runes. I have reached round 16, so I am past the two rounds with different prizes and nothing special. Round 12 had 10,000 coins and round 15 had 2,000 coins and 1,000 apples. The rest were the standard 2,000 coins and 300 apples.

Try a Water/Nature Super Rare like Chilly Goat, Sea Horse or Ocean Owl. Both Water and Nature are Strong against Egypt.

Took down the Jackalope Frost on the fourth try with my level 15 Crystal Unicorn. Overall record was 18-12, tying for my second best 18 round tournament. See post #6 for details. I had a great start, winning the first 7 rounds without a loss and getting through the first 13 rounds with only 2 losses. Didn't finish quite as strong with 10 losses in the last five rounds including 4 losses on the last round. Another animal for storage.

I was lucky to take the Jackalope Frost down on my first try with my epic Peony Pony. Hadn't planned to spend any gems at all, till my finger slipped and I did an ultimate accidentally on a lower opponent! That's what happens when you try and do 2 things at once! Good luck to those still battling.

That's cool and that does sound like a victory in "true Ember style". :P
However, the real one must not have had its day today, or he's getting battle weary, as he only defeated the Rabbit a few minutes ago on its FOURTH attempt.
But... he did his job; just when I was considering swapping him out for the epic Crystal Unicorn; I really wanted Ember to do the job though!

Overall this tournament was very easy on me; I beat the Emerald AND the Jade both on the first attempt! That was surprising.

To those stuck on the Troll: if you have one, use a Gold Lion (fire); Ember has animals like the Troll for breakfast. ;)

So my Crystal Unicorn won 11 rounds (and all on 1st attempt, including a weak/weak/critical) and my Treent won 6 rounds, then I just needed an Ampeater for round 14.

Tournament completed with only 3 animals! :) Yes, I know it's lazy haha

Yay I got it!! I had to pay some gems to speed up the last two rounds because I have to go to sleep but thanks God I won both at the first attempt! It was 8 gems but soo worth it, it's super cute! :) Good luck to everyone!

Giving up now. Have lost 10 battles today and have 4 rounds left and only about 3 hours. Also way too many problems trying to get the game to open again. It shouldn't take 15 tries to open the game every single time. Oh well.

I sped the last few rounds on both of my games - I had 16 losses and 18 wins on each. I only used level 15 epic animals (and used only strong opponents) for both games, so I think that high loss number is ridiculous.

One Hour before the tournament ends I got Jackalope Frost also at my Second account with Jingle Shells Level 15 using one Electric stroke !!!

You have to hatch the tournament prize before the goal expires to get the food and xp.

Congrats! 16 losses is a pretty good result! In my worst flash tourney I had 18 wins and 33 losses. With level 15 fighters. I never want to experience that again!

Oh my. I had been doing do well on this until I got to the hippogrypth! So many losses on that one. Then I done really well until I got yo the jackolope frost! I lost so many times and had to keep speeding because I was on my last hour. I finally had to use the ultimate attack to beat it. Iv never had to do that before! Grass water shouldn't have been hard but it would not go down! Glad I got it tho. I think it's lovely as is the original jackolope
