Gem sale?

Does anyone ever get a gem sale promotion in this game? I've been checking for a couple weeks and I never have one. At one point I could see a quick sale sign flash on the lower gem icon when I went into the gem buying screen, but then it would quickly disappear.

Would be cool to get a sale every once in a while like in Dragon Story.

I never seen the sale in a year I have been playing :< some players said that they had sale once or twice, but that's about it...
