Then you can complete the quest. When you reach level 47, you can unlock the new recipe "Yeti Spaghetti".
In addition, before the end of the quest, you need save 18 Roasted Marshmallows.
When you reach level 42 after the end of the quest, you can still learn the recipe of "Winter Crumble".

I think this is a permanent stove, just like the bbq grill, so all the recipes will stay if you unlock them within a limited time. You need to have roasted marshmallows to unlock them. If you finish the quest you will also get Yeti Spaghetti.

Well guys, looks like this is going to be one of those tough but rewarding quests. I can already see with just how good the stats on the lowest tier recipe is that this is going to be one of the better appliances. Can't wait to complete everything and get some new recipes and on top of this I can't wait to see what the theme of the January Cruise is going to be, gonna be a good month on RS2.

Yes, if you don't have the ingredients unlocked for the recipes then you can't learn them till you have them unlocked. If you don't have sugar for example then you won't be able to make the first recipe which is smores.

I am really starting to think this quest was more designed for the higher level players especially if you need to learn some of the higher level recipes to complete the quest. I can't see myself finishing this one. I will go as far as I can, and then just prepare for the cruise.

The quest is 6 days long. Under these days, we need to collect 58 marshmallows to unlock all the 6 recipes. 6 days equals 144 hours. A regular person sleeps around 8 hours/day, which means that under the 48 hours that we are sleeping, we are unable to collect marshmallows. So we have 96 hours left to collect the marshmallows from Yeti, who only drops marshmallows every two hours. 96/2=48. If Yeti drops 1 marshmallow each time, you will only get 48 marshmallows. And what if you are at work or busy with other stuff and can't play? Then you are screwed, unless you pay real money or gems for it of course.

Don't stop! Even if you wouldn't be able to complete quest and get all recipes, at least you would unlock some of the recipes! First few doesn't require that much marshmallows:>

We can always hope that they will increase the drop ratio. I have only received 1 marshmallow per drop.

Like you say, I have a job that makes it impossible to collect every two hours, so I chose to buy some marshmallows in the beginning. I hope they increase the drop rate, so not everybody has to do that...

They want you to buy marshmallows...there's no way to complete the quest at the current drop rate.....in six days!!?? So far, in day one, I've gotten four marshmallows......still can't cook the biscuits, which, by the way, requires potatoes (4 hour wait time). Most of the campfire food requires supplies that takes a while to gather.....Campfire fish --salmon: 12 hours.....campfire chicken-- onions: 8hours...... oh wait......each campfire food requires roasted marshmallows.....which are dropped few and far between.

An impossible goal in six days if you ask me........save your gems and money....it's a set-up!

It's just on the first page it says don't forget to roast marshmallows a's marshmallows are limited but not roasted.

Depends. If you save enough roasted marshmallows you will be able to make winter crumble when you get to that level. But if this quest needs to learn winter crumble to get the yeti spaghetti you won't be able to get the yeti spaghetti recipe.

And, all those new recipe quests I've completed, most of them all just sit there and rarely ever get made! I think if the next cruise is just going to be another gem recipe, maybe I'll take a pass this round.

It looks like the initial post hasn't been updated with steps 8 and 9. Anyone know what the objectives are for step 8 and 9? I would suggest everyone focus on s'mores to 3* when you have campfire oven downtime. Since one of the objectives is to reach 1* s'mores, chances are we'll need to 2* and 3* them in steps 8 and 9.

I think I need to have a good talk with my Yeti lol. But I'm glad yours is doing his job. Not sure if you indeed had gotten 6 drops, could it had been +6 coins from the customer next seated next to your Yeti? I haven't read anyone posting such a huge drop so far.

To add: I just saw a +2 from my Yeti, I think he drops coins as well as 1 marshmallow in my case.

I dunno, I'm high enough level to get this recipe without spending gems, but I love having all the recipes just for the sake of mastering them and being able to make them :> so I would definitely spend 10 gems if I would be lower level just to have the recipe. Plus 10 gems generally speaking doesn't seem like a lot!

They are definitely not based on the level you are at, as I am at level 24 and I only get one from yeti. In my case he drops his coins from whatever dish he is eating and then 1 marshmallow.

To finish this quest I will need to spend the 8 gems per marshmallow. Has anyone else found a different way to get the marshmallow? Yeti has only dropped one per visit and my life is too busy to collect every 2 hours. I notice buying the marshmallow is a lot cheaper than buying the roasted ones.

Today, I played more than 3-4 hours in the game, I only had 2 times visiting. So fat, at least I know, I need to collect 18 marshmallows in the next 3.5 days to complete all 9 steps. I don't think I can meet my goal on time.

This is not right, the goal required so many marshmallows, but you can't buy it, the only way you can get it is waiting for the visiting, you have to deepened on you lucky.

Yeah, too late for me, I already roasted...a big bunch! I think 8 or so. The next 3+ days I will be travelling to Budapest and back, and of course when I'm in Budapest I'm going to see the city rather than my restaurant...so maybe, maybe I won't finish! :(

I'm only receiving about 3-4 a day at 1 drop per yeti visit per 2+ hours, taking in reality, life, children, husband, obligations, responsibilities. That means I would need a minimum of 7 more days to collect enough marshmallows. I've already bought more than half of the needed marshmallows at 8 gems each just to try and keep up. I'm not sure how this event was possible without a bucket load of gems, even if you took out sleep and life and lived on an alarm set to Yeti time.

My yeti spaghetti quest says I have 4 more days left (prob 3 & 1/2 by now) and I'm 3 roasted marshmallows away from the sausage s****et. At least when I finish that step they give you 4 marshmallows. Otherwise, Scrooge Yeti has still only dropped 1 marshmallow for me each time!! I really hope the others are right and they increase the drop rate soon. Yeti needs a kick in the pants!

Thanks dragon 2046! I never give up (ok the last event in bakery story 2). I'm just realizing the set up for this event was nearly impossible. Usually these events are closer to 60/40 or 80/20 that most people on iOS at a certain level can finish without using gems. But this one, the numbers aren't adding up.

The timing of this quest is horrible. Only one drop anyways? Or at least every 30 minutes?

Every time a new quest comes out, it's mostly impossible to finish and then TL has to make adjustments.

I agree with everyone on this marshmallow drop issue :< I have vocation so I'm able to check the game every 2 hours or so, but for many people this is almost impossible. Even with checking the game almost every 2 hours, I'm only about to unlock Sausage S****et. Still have 3 more recipes with a lot of marshmallows to collect and only 3 days til the end. I will try my best to finish this event, but I have doubts :/ Also I'm quite annoyed with the fact that some people get more than 1 marshmallows, I think it would be fair if every 5 or so visit Yeti would drop more than 1 marshmallow, like it was in Tummy Rumble Event (I think Kathryn was dropping 10 nutmeg every 5th visit or so). It just seems unfair that some people have advantage due to their luck, I think every player should be able to put the same amount of efforts and expect the same results. It's either should be that there is no way to get more marshmallows per drop or everyone get the same amount of extra marshmallows. Don't get me wrong, im glad that some people get lucky and are able to progress faster, it just a mistake on developers side :$

To finish this quest I will need to spend the 8 gems per marshmallow. Has anyone else found a different way to get the marshmallow? Yeti has only dropped one per visit and my life is too busy to collect every 2 hours. I notice buying the marshmallow is a lot cheaper than buying the roasted ones.

The roasted marshmallows are the higher gem price. However if you just buy marshmallows then roast them yourself it's only 8 gems. I chose to pay the 8 gems each and roast my own for my missing ones needed to push my goals along. All your questions were answered one or two pages back including my solution to the exact same position you are in and it only cost 10 gems. I would rewrite all the answers but am super tired and heading off to bed.

Even logging in every 2 hours, it still seems logistically impossible to cook ALL the meals required and learn all the recipes, without using gems somewhere. Thats what she was asking really.

This is another one I will play as far as I can get without spending gems. Requirements are ridiculous for anyone with a life outside this game. I have played this for some time (lvl 54) and I am noticing that things are getting harder and harder. Or is it just me ? I have a suspicion, that they let us earn gems (stoves, characters), so we feel all happy and continue to play, and then basically force us to spend gems with other quests.

I think this is a little experiment to see how many will buy the extra marshmallows. They did this same thing in dragon story last event you had to feed dragon up to level 15 lots of people didn't bother to do event and didn't buy gold like they normally would. This event only need to feed dragons to level 12.

I think this is the same thing pushing the boundary to see how far they can go with stuff. I don't mind buying gold and gems and supporting developers of games but on my own terms.

Trying to log on every two hours, but it's not easy. Especially when the last 2 times now the yeti doesn't show up. Last time I got on, it was 2 hours and 10 mins later than last time. Yeti was sitting there, but of course the game always does its "refresh" so he went away. Then he wouldn't show up. After waiting 5 mins I closed the game and went back in. He still didn't show. Waited 5 more mins and closed and went back in. Then he finally showed up. So, this is not making me happy. If he's only showing up every two hours, then he should be breaking my door down to get in! I should not have to wait on him so long!

Honestly, the only way you will actually finish this quest without using gems is if you are on level 47 or above, and if your yeti showed up regular. There have been lots of times my yeti was beyond the 2hr window. It also doesn't help when he only drops one marshmallow at a time. I won't be able to complete this quest because of 2 reasons: I'm only on level 24 and not enough marshmallows. I don't spend real money on games, so buying gems isn't an option for me, but even if it was I probably wouldn't enjoy the reward by buying my way through the quest as if I were to earn it. I will continue collecting and roasting marshmallows till the end, and hopefully I will be able to unlock the last couple recipes. If not then oh well. Hopefully the next one will be more achievable to lower level players.

I guess I'm a little confused as to why everyone keeps talking about collecting marshmallows and roasting them so you can unlock recipes later... My whole problem is getting yeti to show up and GET the marshmallows! He doesn't show up often enough, and doesn't even show up every two hours for me. So, for me, the idea of gathering enough marshmallows and then roasting them all before the time is up is what seems like the impossible deal. I can make all the other dishes and get s'mores to level 3 no problem. I have soooo much time in between while I'm waiting on yeti so all the other tasks are easy!

I think the surprise is that they have already finished. Although it may be possible IF you collect every 2 hours it would still take the entire length of the event to get enough marshmallows. There's no getting around that without gems. But to be finished 3 days early is surprising without gems.

I agree, if the time limit is the same for everyone then there is no way someone could get done 3 days early. Unless they are using gems, quickserves, they are logging on every two hours and yeti is there, and they must not be sleeping for long but instead also waking up every two hours to play the game. That's the only way I can see being done already because I'm on the game a lot, but I do choose to sleep at night.

Yes!!! Just got 5 marshmallows! And it was definitely 5 marshmallows and not coins! I'm hoping this means they are increasing his drops! Every other one I've gotten was a 1 drop! Me too, I have no idea how any spices help anyone in this quest... Unless you are using the mastery spice for the s'mores since those have to be taken to a level 3. The other two spices just add more money to the dishes you make. They don't add marshmallows and don't cut any time off of anything. So, I would love to know what I'm missing here.

I like a challenge too and I've never missed one yet either. But I can tell that they keep getting harder over time which is taking some of the fun out of it when you feel like you have to live on your game to get it completed. Everyone is different I guess. To each his/her own.

Literally started this goal 4hrs ago and per my calculations I will be able to finish all but Winter Crumble on acct of only being a Lvl 38. :{

I am sorry, but I don't understand your math. We need 58 marshmallows to unlock the recipes and we get 16 in return from completing different steps. My math says that leaves 42 to get from Yeti. I'm not sure where your numbers are coming from. How did the 48 get reduced to 24? And if there is a trick to the spices, which only helps in meeting the mastery requirement as far as I know, I'd love to know what it is.

I think that some of the people that think yeti gives more than one marshmallow do not realize that the game gives you marshmallows when you complete certain levels of the quest. I have never gotten more than one marshmallow every 2 hours... The yeti displays with huge numbers the coins one gets....maybe that too is confusing to some game players.

Are the people getting 5 marshmallows actually seeing 5 bowls cos that is what you will see. The +5 is from the plate of food he just ate I was thinking. Are the people getting 5 marshmallows actually seeing 5 bowls cos that is what you will see. The +5 is from the plate of food he just ate I was thinking. I was sure the second or third day of the quest I received three, and even remember checking the pantry to make sure, but then again I turned 35 the other day so I may be systematically entering the senile phase of my life.

I have definitely had 2 drops of 5 marshmallows each (got both yesterday within a few hours of each other). There were definitely 5 plates of marshmallow when I clicked on Yeti's bubble! And they showed in my inventory :) Got the old fist pump going!!

I'm on the last step now, just need about 3 more marshmallows to make Winter Crumble :) I'm on level 58 so no problems waiting for ingredients, I've used no gems either because I refuse to buy them.

Well Im 1/2 way through level 59 and this has been a stressful (NOT FUN) quest for me.
I do not give $$ to s8 for this game so the gems I have are earned through game play.
I spent over 100 gems yesterday to finish off the sausage step of quest.
I'd probably still be working on that step if I hadn't gemed through the last half of it.

Im on the crumble step now and still need 4 more roasted marshmellows for the 18 to unlock the recipe - that's collecting
one marshmellow, every 2 hours over the next 8 hours! With lessthan 2 days left in quest.

Nobody is getting more than one marshmellow per drop. Maybe s8 will increase the drop rate in last 24 hours of quest.

We only get extra marshmellows from completing steps

I agree, that would be great! Cause I have to admit, I am really jealous when some people say they have gotten more than 1 marshmallow. I feel like I'm struggling and this is trading forever, but then I hear of people either done or almost done and I have such a long way to go yet. I just takes forever when you only get 1 at a time!

Well I am not a moderator but I have had multiple drops of 5 marshmallows in the past 2 days. I already finished the quest so I really don't need anymore but I still keep collecting so I can see if they increase the drop rate. But it seems like for the 5 drop it is like a 15% time that Yancy will drop 5 in one visit. Just guessing so don't quote me on it but hopefully they will up the rate to like 33% for getting 5 marshmallows in the last day.

Yes, but this is a time-management game. I love games of this genre as I enjoy the planning required in finding the most efficient use of resources and time. The calculating and preparation, etc. It is the only reason I play these; the more complex and difficult, the better.

The 10 lacking marshmallows from your calculations are made up by the 16 total that are rewarded after completing goals. Plus, we have spices for doubling. So the potential 48 from collection can be reduced to 24 and that can further be reduced to 8 if you deduct the aforementioned 16. Thus, the entire goal can be completed in as little as 8 collections. So pick a number somewhere between 8 & 48 and you have a more realistic collection number, given that some might not have this many spices in storage nor should we need to use this many resources since there is, in fact, enough time for completion.

I work full-time and take care of everything for my family due to my husband's 84hr/7day a wk work schedule. Even still, I manage to finish without spending gems. I DO NOT buy gems from the everso []S8 and only spend earned gems on decor as opposed to advancing. I'm using a [Samsung Galaxy] tablet so I only have access @home or where there is WiFi. Literally started this goal 4hrs ago and per my calculations I will be able to finish all but Winter Crumble on acct of only being a Lvl 38. :{

The spice doesn't apply to the marshmallows or the roasting, the option isn't even available to add spice or I would have used them since I had 40. Not sure how you figured 8 collections which equals 8 marshmallows even with the reward marshmallows. Not possible.

I'm on the last 18 (used a bucket load of gems and spices (for the s'mores part) which will take 18 collections and that's the last step alone.

I admit I bought 2 sets of the $1.99 offer of 6 roasted marshmallows and 6 sugars. I also used quite a few master spices and a few helping hands. Since I still had time I don't know that I needed the master spices or helping hands, but the pre-made roasted marshmallows were worth the $4 I spent.

That is my point, why is only a handful getting it several times and the rest of us not at all? That is why it seems fishy. That is awesome for those who have gotten it, but does seem a bit odd that it hasn't happen to everyone at least once.

Well, my yeti is also giving one piece at a time. So I decided to give 20 gems to skip the campfire fish, which I will probably never be able to cook, as, even if my lazy yeti would increase his drop rate immediately, there isn't enough time left due to my job. That's life ��

it is possible, just log in every 2 hours and dont get ahead of yourself, NEVER roasted marshmallow in advance, and you have to be at least lv 47 and unlock lemon, then you will have the yeti spaghetti by now :D

Agree it is possible. I have finished it at lvl 44, only using 10 gems to bypass the fact I couldn't learn Winter Crumble.
