Agree with the above - a sale to round out the year would be great! :D Never heard of a New Year's sale before but there's a first time for everything ;)

Would also be great to see an LTO of the NYE Celebration from last year's Countdown Crate, or maybe a return of the box... I hope we get New Year's Eve stuff on Wednesday :)

My guess is more ice stuff - if I recall correctly we had some type of ice update almost all the time from new year's until june last year after Storm 8 took over :( Not holding my breath for a sale. I thought I was making a good investment in the gem dispenser BUT there is nothing to spend gems on except the gem traps galore!

I'd love to see some glittery pastel tiles or wallpaper! I love pastels but there aren't many others- other than the ones I'm currently using in my bakery.

Losing interest in this game as the weeks go by. Haven't bought any gems in weeks. There are games out there that only update once every two to three weeks but by S8 standards, it's the equivalent to about 6 months worth of updates as you receive SO MUCH content in one hit and the graphics are far superior and some are even interactive. The real money cash items are well priced and there are no "gem traps". Yep, definitely over this game. It's a shame as it was once a relatively decent game that kept my interest for 4 years.

It would be nice to have a nice winter sale but I dont expect things anymore. As long as I get new recipes im fine.

I just find it funny how for the longest we got great items and NO new food, unless it was goal related. Then they started giving us recipes on the regular machines again, along with new ovens on top of goals ovens. But we dont get LTOs, old items, huge sales or even weekly new stuff that much.

Well they could've added a massive WINTER sale on ALL past items from the many years but no. How hard is it to do that, no need to design or anything, just use past stuff.
I'm pretty sure both old timers and newbies would welcome this update better and the focus wouldn't be on the crate since it wouldn't be bad should such sale be included.

The ballroom dancers were from a goal back in 2014, so they'll be locked for anyone who didn't get them at the time :(

Yup, they were 24 gems and I was so mad about that, I wanted a couple but thought the cost was too high, they should have been 15 or 16 at the most.

I don't always mind the crates. I really need some New Years stuff and had gems saved from the non Black Friday and Christmas sales so I thought I would give today's crate a shot.... Well jokes on me. I got the balloon wall, confetti wall thing and some party blower.... Seriously??? They are tiny first off and second just ugly. That's what I get. I won't make the same mistake twice.

Also got the "Balloon Wall" decoration don't remember what prize it was forgot to take screenshot. Really liked the epic prize "NYE Ball Drop" so figured I'd take my chance on crate since I don't have any New Year's decor oh well ╮(･_･)╭

Did you check the wall decorations not just the main decorations tab? Some of them are wall decorations so that may be where it is. If you checked both then yep email storm 8.

Yes! I have the tango dancers. They and the panda gymnast never leave the floor. ;) I love them. I get all the dancers. :)

Storm 8 blog doesn't give us update previews anymore, we have not great sales as we use to have with Teamlava, no more versions of the game.......don't you feel abandoned? I Do.

I've seen a few prizes in my nbrs places and I feel like this box is really lame. There are so many tiny ugly things in it. Definitely not gonna try it.
