Been stuck on round 13, Ancient Sloth, for far too long. Nothing I have seems to be able to beat it. If the remaining opponents are this difficult I won't finish in time. Setting an alarm to come back every hour, lol. This is only my second try at a tournament....was only 2 opponents short of winning last time. It's definitely fun trying.

Grumpy Gorilla sure is grumpy. I've lost 5 times using my best (fire fighters) tried my new teen gift giving treent she's came within an hair tiny bit of red beating him. Thanks to all those posting their opponents it helps. I might get down to where I have to for the 1st time use the 30GEM knock out. Hope not I'm going to keep trying, but don't want to miss out on him.

Well, this flash tourney was certainly a big surprise during the Holidays!

Congrats to all who have finished! I managed to battle just enough to make it through. Lost a lot in the early rounds and Thorilla was a tough one, so I'm very glad to have made it. Peony Pony won against Grumpy Gorilla on the first try.

My 15th match with Ruby Razorback, I choose Anubis, lvl 13, 2 strong hits and I couldn't take it I used an ultimate attack. I didn't want to have to do that but time is running out, I can not loose a round or I will have to speed. Very disappointing, I've not lost a tournament since I've started this game. And I have not used an ultimate hit in a very very long time, I have good fighters now so there shouldn't be a need to. So ultimately Grumpy Gorilla will cost me 30 gems, more if I have to speed to make it though.
Good luck all, I hope each of you get through easier than I have this tournament.

Well, I still haven't gotten past the Ancient Sloth. At this point I don't think I can finish in time. I would have to beat all opponents easily with only 1 or 2 losses allowed. I really like this grumpy gorilla. Maybe by the next tournament I will have some animals with elements other than the basics. I used my Caturn, space. It's always down to the wire in tournaments for me. Usually start off real well but always get stuck on at least 2 rounds. Good luck.

I got the grumpy in time but not the hatching of him to get the quest done. that seems to be the way when your trying to get the other eggs. This happen to me when I got the garland snake too.

27 looses for me, I stayed up way too late last night to get through this one! With the Ultimate Hit and speeding the final rounds just to make it on time, I probably spent 50 gems. Not happy about that, it's been a long time since I spent any gems at all to win a tournament. And I've never came this close on time. I will chalk this one up to my worst tournament!

I guess I was really lucky; I'm currently abroad and not able to put in fights all of the time. Also, I started late as I was still on the airplane when it started. Maybe it helps that I'm in Miami and that I'm at least in a US timezone instead of the European one, but I also didn't really get stuck for a long time on rounds. Most rounds were won on the first attempt. I didn't keep a record this time but I do recall that oddly enough the most troublesome animal this time was the Elephantom. Ruby went down quickly. All in all I didn't have a particularly hard time. I hope most of you also managed to get the Gorilla in the end!

I wondered if you would be competing in this one being you are on vacation. Glad you got through so smoothly, myself and others not so much. It was by far the worst tournament that I can remember.
