It will be nice to see some of these decorations because our restaurants would look great with all these Christmas decorations. From all of these decorations at least I would like to see on sale the Gingerbread Castle or the Santa Workshop.

ahhhhh I'am really disapoited wit this update!!! what kind of what kind a wals and tales are that??we wanted something for holliday and what just some decors gem havy.its ok about that who wants them will get them but walls are terrible nothing to do with those decors that are ther. and why not chairs and tables???this was really bad one,wasent expecting to much but this is really low!!

Even with Christmas celebrated in religious and secular ways, it's still the biggest ranked holiday of the year. They can cater to all sides of the dice. Unbelievable! 11 months with S8, I think it's time to shut down for good starting with Fashion in January.

So happy Christmas is over in these games! I like this update, I like the flooring. Won't spend gems on the wallpaper. And I'm not interested in the decor. But at least there are recipes I can gain gems from. It's better than nothing.

I think what's happening is there is no new designs happening. They are pulling out the leftovers and rejects., RS might be circling the drain. Milk it for all they can before they flush it.

Why are we being punished? The oven in Bakery is cheap!

Hmm... The recipes finally are not just low hours, like 1-3 and the servings are getting bigger! Great job Storm8! However, $120,000 for one oven is quite expensive! The recipes also do not relate to Christmas whatsoever! Wish they were more festive, but overall alright! Favorite is Lobster Ravioli!;)

Don't we already have lobster ravioli on a appliance? I don't think they are doing even a passable job. Maybe when they start making recipes that equal the older ones. The new recipes can't hold a candle to the old originals ones in either cost or rarely in presentation. Making money on the new stoves is barely possible and takes way too long to recoup the cost of the appliance.

Sad, so sad. I have played this game (and restaurant) for 2.5 years now, and remember when I couldn't wait to see all the amazing offerings. Clearly these original story games are on life support, and Storm 8 is eagerly awaiting to pull the plug. Their focus is now on the sequels, where the gem traps pay for their trips and expensive offices. All the wonderful suggestions that the players keep offering will be used to enhance BS2 and RS2. Stick a fork in these games, it is only a matter of time.

I like both of them, the floral piece, the wall dec, and the oven, although I think the prices were too high.

We didn't get a preview announcement but it appears the theme of this update is supposed to be an Italian Christmas.

I do like most of the update. But I think Nona's Stove 120k and Italian Holiday counter 26 gems is unreasonable and too expensive for RS .

yes, yes it is. italian traditional Eve dinner is no meat, very catholic, so they introduced fish as an alternative. anchovies are portuguese/spanish, not italian, and salted cod comes from NE North America, not italian... umm s8 is again culturally incorrect and embarrassing

Really, there's been a lot to like lately. A lot of the recipes in this and Bakery have been super cute, with delicately painted cups or plates, elegant appliances, etc. I love the Jack Frost decoration, the Nutcracker, the Holiday Tree, the Frozen Pond, the last goal prize (very detailed and festive), just about everything in the last box, the flying Santa (even if the reindeer are smirking).

This latest update is way expensive, though. I like the wallpaper, but it's pricy.

I would like to see less of the cutesy bots, though. My favorite bot is Jock: he stares pensively off in the distance, and is not smiling. It's like he's pondering great, existential questions.
