Changed rewards

I got a goal to install and play Candy Christmas today and then the reward for buying a decoration. But it wasn't the usual 30 gem reward - it was only 14 gems! Anyone else?

Very strange! I guess I'm in some kind of a test group then... :( I also got 30 in all my other games. I would much rather have got the 14 in another game and 30 in FFS.

I would contact support and ask them, feel free to use my picture if you'd like to show that you know others received 30. And if you did screenshots of your other games. 16 gems is a lot of gems to miss out on. Good luck.

Thanks! I may just do that. I didn't take screen shots of the other games though, but at least I have these ones.
By the way, have you played the Candy game before? I had it as a goal already some months ago and got to level 68 in it back then. I didn't get any leveling up goal for it this time either because of that. I wonder if that has something to do with the difference in the number of gems.

Edit: but I did still get the 30 in other games, so I guess that can't be the reason.

Yes I have played it before, believe I am on level 58. I did not get any other goals after that, I have noticed this with other games if I have already leveled up I don't receive more goals.

Castle story give 14 gems only too and dragon story i got 14 golds too :mad:
but farm story2 gives 30 gems !
FFS is really going the wrong way !
if they think people will play for such low reward, they are wrong !

This was the first time in a long time that I've received a prompt to download and play a game. I know some players had one a week or so ago, but I didn't. I also only got 14 gems, which I thought was really weird. If all of us received 14, fine, that's it I guess, but to know that some people are receiving 30 is frustrating. They always say the playing field is even for all of us...

It was 14 for me too in FFS, RS, FS and CS.
It was 30 in DS though.
It was the normal 6 in ZS (a game my daughter likes).
The rewards also seem to be the normal amounts in CM and JM.
I always trigger these rewards in some 8 games or so, the above two are the only two I've collected them in so far today, but it was definitely 14 :(

As for my Candy Mania level, that is 227. I used to be a fervent player of that game (and even MUCH more so of Jewel Mania where I'm at level 552). I really used to play that a lot and it is through CM and JM that FFS was initially discovered as a goal game. :P

It's a bummer that the amount has precisely been reduced in the games I most like of the above ones. :(
FFS is the one where I do pretty heavy gem spending, and is the only one I *really* care about at this time. The others are also fun, but I just don't have the time to play all of them, so I keep them mainly as "back-up games" in case for some reason I shall reduce/discontinue FFS gameplay.

It seems to me that TL figures that the players don't spend enough (bought?) gems on FFS and that they therefore reduce the rewards. I don't really think the rewards are too high in FFS though, I think much rather the gem sales in FFS aren't as good as they are in the other games and that for that reason fewer people buy them. This morning when triggering the reward in DS I noticed a 90% off value pack with 150 gold and other good stuff for only 1.99 Euro. I have seen something like that once in an FFS baby account too. THAT's a really good deal!
I we would more often get sales like that, surely more people would make use of them....

I have 2 accounts that I play this game on and these were the rewards I received (I do have screenshots and I'll try adding them later if anyone wants them):

iphone:

ipad:

So some accounts seem to be getting more gems than others. :/

I can tell you there is a definite lack in parity between some accounts for this game. For example, my iphone account gets gem sales constantly but my ipad account only got 1 sale on Black Friday (it otherwise gets no sale offers for gems whatsoever).

It's the same between my primary and secondary accounts: the secondary one very often gets gem sales; the primary one gets far fewer of them.
The game goal rewards used to be the same though. I'm really disappointed to see them reduced and especially if they're only reduced for several players. :(
In fact, from the secondary account I've never made a gem purchase, but I have around 100 Euros in this game now from the primary one. Zenobia theorised/suspected that the accounts from which substantial amounts of gems are bought were put at a disadvantage. Maybe. correction my Dragon Story got 30 golds. seems they introduced random : my baby accounts got all differents rewards (14 or 30) plus sometimes decors bonus.

The new Bakery Story 2 just released these game-related goals on Android, and the reward is 14 gems. This looks like a change across many games :(

Only 14 Gems for me. Really not fair but that's not the first time that TL make unfair differences between players. Remember on DS the Dragons that some had to buy in bunddle for real money while others could win them in Tournaments. Or the price of some things wasn't the same at all. E.g: some had to pay different amount of Gold, simple to triple, while some lucky players just had to pay with food or Silver coins. Totaly random and unfair.

I agree with u sales are not enough
Gem rewards are a nice change from constant dispappointing breeding results
Only enough for one speed breed (14 gems only are like mehh I will pass)
Reducing gem rewards won't make buy gems
Sales and get offers will do
This game with the cute designs make me wanna spend again
But the fact no sales for me at all except once ( black friday) and no tempting offers like I would've expected to happen on Black Friday
Kept my money away

So TL I ask don't make the mistake of thinking this would force anyone to spend if anything more people will be discouraged
Instead keep those grt deigns for habits coming and offer more sales
More will buy

Sigh... I guess it's bye bye to 30 gem rewards then. This means I need to adjust my gem spending accordingly and start hoarding them for only very special things. Definitely no more unnecessary speeding of any kind.

14 also on DS and FFS on my main account. Second account received 30 in both games. Same devices, the iOS is the only thing that is different.

Even in DS TL changed the amount of gold has reward in tournaments, 3 instead of 5.

So I got a new reward quest today for hungry babies. I play multiple accounts on same ipad. When I switch to a different storm ID it doesn't change on hungry babies. I have deleted and re-installed the game several times. I have a feeling it has something to do with the latest iOS update and the game center. I logged out of the game center and nothing changed on hungry babies, but now my candy mania and bubble mania are reset to level 1.
