View Full Version : How many neighbors do you have?

I try to keep a lower number of neighbors, around 40, so I can make my rounds watering daily, or every other day. At one time I had 124 or so, but was difficult to make my rounds with a job, errands, and just living life like everyone does.

In Farm Story I have 31 neighbors and am at Level 73. I reduced as soon as I got to level 70 at which time I had 51. If they add any more levels then I'll have to add more neighbors. However, its faster to level up if you have people who actually water you.

In City Story I have no neighbors and I probably wont add any until I get to the level where you are required to have them. Gifts are nice and all, but frankly, sometimes neighbors are a hastle.

At current time I have 186 neighbors and I water and gift daily, I had 276 before we were able to delete inactive neighbors and went down to 201, since then I've deleted the ones with a zero water level who are at a level higher than 30 and whom I know I watered everyday and I went to 154, but everyday I seem to add a new neighbor so I'm moving back up again

I have 691 Neighbors...Cull the 0 Stars every two weeks....People like to link to me to see my constantly changing farm art....I reliously water all those that water me and it works great. However Im also in City Story now and in two days I alread have cose to 300 neighbors...We will have to see how that works...At least I gift them all everyday so far....

I have 1057 neighbours and about 20-30 requests to accept. I wish there was an "Accept All Requests" button.

I have 258 neighbours, but starting to find it hard work. Thinking of deleting the none waterers and need to delete the friend requests that have had for ages and they have replied!

I had 50 neighbors and just got rid of alot of those with zero stars. If anyone wants a neighbor that waters you everyday....my2boyz

I have about 80 neighbors. I delete those who never water me (I don't care about gifts) and just add more. On City Story, I had around 400 neighbors but I felt bad not being able to clean back every single person (since not everyone leaves a message on the wall) so I cut down to 250. I'm trying to cut down to 100-150 neighbors currently.

Sometimes I want to start a "no water" group in which everyone agrees to be neighbors to have the numbers needed for expansions, but have no obligation to visit or water anyone else. I've been keeping neighbors with zero stars and/or abandoned farms just because I know I never have to visit them and they won't be offended.

Ask people to add their id if they want to do that. I can understand if people don't have time to water but still want to level up, I think it's a good idea. I personally like to water and have the time.

I currently keep around 50 neighbours, but only about 20 of them are currently playing (has anyone else noticed the amount of people leaving the game?). I dont really want to delete the non-players as I will need the numbers when I get to my last expansion (currently level 67), so I just leave them sitting there and dont visit them. I do however water each of my good neighbours every single night.

lol watering 2000 a day is pretty much impossible so i just water a selected few everyday and the ones who watered me

I currently have 248 neighbors, all of which have a 3 or 4 star rating. I delete them when they drop below 3. I'm at level 57 and my crops are generally fully watered in less than an hour.

I gift all my neighbors every other day and always water those who leave a note on my wall, even if they couldn't water me. About once a week, I'll go through and water all of my neighbors. I do it alphabetically over a period of 2 days. It works out well and everyone's happy. 

Oh, also, I ALWAYS leave a quick note when I water. It actually allows the community to see that I'm online, and they assist with watering as well. About 1/4-1/3 of my crops are watered by non-neighbors because I leave notes.
