I generally don't have much to say about the goals and updates; however is anyone else getting tired of the recipes being displayed on cookie sheets? Why couldn't they display like their picture on the oven? It's lazy coding in my opinion and I know people who code would say the same thing. It's getting a tad bit dull. :(

I've previously complained about cake pops, but i have to say, these and the polar bear ones last week are probably my favorites. they're so cute! (i do still think that trend has lost steam though)

That would be me! I hate cake pops and wish they'd stop giving us cake pops, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon. As to the wallpaper, we already got candy cane wallpaper that I particularly love, and these ones don't compare. I feel bad for the the new players because the cute one was removed in January.

I'm happy to see the tree, even though I already bought the expensive one, I hope this one is bigger and gorgeous. I'm not feeling the tables and chairs though. I agree with everyone else about the cookie sheet thing. Why have it look so pretty on the plates if it's going to look so ugly on the counters?

Yep I am getting fed up with them serving recipes on a baking tray as it doesn't do these pretty truffles justice. I agree with twospoons on the fact it should be reversed, as the portion size for each customer is plain crazy/silly... now I love my choccies, but not that many! lol :D

Really wishing s8 would have made a reindeer cake instead of reindeer cake pops. It would have been much cuter. I also am very tired of all the blue floor tiles were getting for Christmas decor between last year and now this year. Decorations are okay and I'm happy they're for coins and not gems.

Love the floor tiles, but the wallpaper is not my cup of tea! Really why couldn't S8 have designed something really nice and wintery (like something in different shades of blue with pretty snowflakes and snow covered trees) to go with the tiles?!!!

Can't wait to get my hands on the tables and goal prizes. Xmas isn't Xmas with no tree and I definitely need one for my bakery.... so it will be great if the tree is a nice big pretty one :)

Deeks I totally agree with you about the proportions!!! I posted on last week's update thread about the cheery cart on RS with a pic of my bakery to show how silly it is that a bottle of champagne is actually smaller than a mug of cocoa. Lets hope they rescale things!

There are 3 prizes. The first two are just normal floor decos and happen to be unlocked!

I love the new decorations, the stove and the recipes! It's my fist Christmas on BS so I'm happy I'm now able to decorate my bakery for christmas.

But I'm really disappointed about those metal baking trays. I really hate them and I avoid recipes that are served on them. I am just really really really curious what kind of person would think that looks like good idea. It's boring and just plain ugly

I guess, if you happen to decorate like it's a real bakery, you'd never just serve your food out on a counter uncovered like they do--but you would keep it all on sheet pans while you're still working on it. So these counters are now being viewed as working space for in your kitchen, not the display counters we've been using them as.

They should still go back to the other way.

Exactly. I love it as well. Me and my neighbours send them almost daily. I'd stocked up about 300 before the goals started. We don't have to guess what parts will be needed anymore. It's always oven elements and a new part. Just stock up. it makes goals or any new ovens so much easier to build.

Really like the update, but could be something better than the Xmas tree as a goal prize. Still hoping for some frozen deco: frozen forest, trees full of snow and ice, frozen lake or fountain

Santa's grotto was available for the 2012 Christmas goals and it was removed by TL back in 2013. I'm afraid this is no longer available to unlock (unless they bring it back but it will cost 32 gems)

My problem with the oven elements is that I send them to my neighbors every day but my neighbors never send them to me unless I ask for them, so I'll have 20 at a time at most :(

I'm really glad they're introducing more coffee/cafe-type drink recipes with the goals, like they did with this one and last month :) Obviously, nothing could replace the September 2014 coffee goals, but I think it's nice that newer players will still have some coffee recipes independent of those machines and the regular drink machine.

I'm gonna switch to a coffee shop theme once Christmas is over.

haha! my last year halloween decor was standing up to springtime i guess... just coz i'm too lazy to change anything.
and i believe they don't care about such protests...
but really, this quest is ridiculous (finance-wise).
if u do only requested things, only one of each appliance, you finish the quest (somehow), you master all 6 recipes (having only 1 of each app.) - you get final profit only 40k.
means, when you buy at least one more appliance - you start to go in minus...

i can't understand this.
it's we, having millions of coins, can do this just for fun.

but it sd **** lower level player, who tries so hard to collect any penny, and can see these locked things, and understands he's gonna fail to get it all in time...

i still remember how it feels, and if i still was so naiv, i wd protest somewhere in "bugs&issues" against so expensive goals requirements.

I do like we get 2 new appliances and some decor. But it's a shame for lower level players will be expensive and hard to complete.

It does look big to me, maybe not huge but definetely big. It might depend on how big is your place, mine is small (14x17) and that's probably why that tree looks big to me when I imagine it being in my bakery, lol.

If you look closely, the tree itself (without presents) fits into 3x3 space though.

I begin playing Bakery Story a few weeks ago and I am a bit obsessed at level 40 already. I finished the goals I had quickly thinking more goals would pop up. All I care about is getting the Snowman Stove and Snowman Fountain. I already requested parts for it. Is there any way to still get these stoves? It's all I have been looking forward to.

Goals happen once a month, usually the second week of the month. If you were not playing when the goals for those two ovens were going on then you won't be able to get them. Sorry :(
