Star ratings??!

How do you make your star ratings increase? I have seen people with lower levels than me with high star ratings and even though my customer happiness thing is always at 100 my rating is still only 2? Just curious..

Star rating is an indicator of how well/often you tip your neighbors or members of the community.
When you leave tips on others tables your star rating will improve. Having a higher star rating improves your chances of receiving tips. Tips give you 20 coins and 1 XP.
If you want to receive tips from your neighbors keep a star rating above 2.
Not everyone does this but when I am tipping my neighbors everyday I skip over low star count neighbors as I would be wasting my time knowing that I am unlikely to receive tips in return.

To achieve a 4 star rating leave 430 tips. You can tip beyond 4 stars and fill a buffer. This is good because your star rating is always diminishing. You can keep the 4 rating longer by continuing to tip even when you are at 4 already.
