Mastery of recipes

I've obtained the Mastery level on several recipes. What does that do for me? It doesn't seem to change cooking time, number of servings, profit, etc. Anyone know?

You get a mastery plaque and the satisfaction of knowing you have cooked a dish enough times to master it :)
