Kudo button for forums

Would it be possible to add a like or kudo button to posts so we could show support on long posts withou having to reply. Similar to a vote button. Maybe even a thumbs diwn if we disagree with someone. Would be a much nicer way than what sometimes happens. Then if someone gets a lot if disagrees they could ask for details if they haven't already received them. There was a post earlier tonight that I really wanted to show support to but it was very long. How to do so without quoting the entire thing?

TL would it be possible to have a "like " button to appreciate individual forum posts this would keep the forum posts on subject ....... Some forum have them and it works well on those ...... Please :)
