"Joyous music played through the crisp air as the Beast Dragon danced to the steps of an ancient ballad. Humming to the music, eyes closed, a smile stretched across the Beast's face. He seemed to be in a world of his own, dancing through the ballroom until someone tapped him on the shoulder. His eyes shot open as he snapped back to reality by the visitor's interruption. Standing beside him was the Beauty Dragon, giggling to herself. The Beast Dragon blushed, having been caught dancing by himself. Thought I answered this for you sorry if I wasn't clear, you can craft them ahead if time the only thing you can not do is remove your dragon from quests early but it does not stop you from crafting the actual needed roses. I have already done four and plan to do four more maybe more.

Then I come here to today and happen to notice that someone updated the OP with the alternate quests that I've been getting, and I'm honestly wondering why that happens. Both my daughters play as well, and they got the original set of quests(the ones listed on the left side: Plant Firapples instead of Buffbeats, etc).

It's based on your level. Lower level players do not have arena so do not get the battle goals. I'm not sure but I am of the understanding there may be differing quests for mid level as well eg below level 100. I'm sure someone else could clarify the exact levels but since I'm not affected I have never paid much attention.

So I bred my beast dragon with my diamond, I have been trying to get Mercury for a very long time, I have two Anubis already, I figured the odds were in my favor, nope, 40 hours yet another Anubis, I should have not even tried now I will either spend gold to skip or to finish breeding.

You need to hatch another life to complete the step.

I have never renamed any of my dragons but the default name of my Beast Dragon is Coral. This has to go. It just does NOT fit at all.

Is anyone aware of any issues experienced as a result of renaming?

I rename all of my dragons. My Life dragon is named Life, my Beast dragon is named Beast, etc. Duplicates are named Trade. Worked great until I raised my second Lotus (aka Trade) to a level 4 and found out that I can't trade it. ;-)

You need to breed the Beast dragon with another dragon twice, yes. This is not unusual in Dragon Tales.

After much debating I think I'm just going to stop after I got the 2nd dragon. I have enough food, but I'd rather use it on something more useful. It's a shame that they keep raising the food requirement for the dragon tale, and it's a shame that I won't be able to complete the trio especially when B&B is my favorite Disney fairytale of all times. Starwulf, your levels might well be in the thick of what seems to be a slightly new structure. This is the first Tales that have required raising dragons to level 15 which is a tad onerous for players around and under level 60 or so.

We don't know exactly, yet, what the variations are, we find out as you guys do the Chapters. As Simdiva said we over 100 do not seem to get any easier tasks, so you need other players in your level range to discuss the differences with.

Previously it was only those without the Arena that got easier tasks, but it certainly seems this has been granted to higher levels this time. It may be graduated.

It's not random you are a mid level then. That is why.

Just an update for the naysayers. To illustrate Dragon Tales teaches discipline, to me if no-one else, I am now at 10 million coins and 180,000 food excluding prizes, not there yet. That is up from 6 million coins and about 5,000 food when the Tales were announced. And I spent 400,000 or so on an expansion this morning. :cool:

Me and my wife are both getting the "Easier" tasks of "Plant Buffbeats", didn't have to breed a Life dragon, whereas my daughter, who(I was wrong apparently) is the same level as my wife, is getting the harder set of quests: Breed a life dragon, plant firapples, etc. So you can see where my confusion in all of this is stemming from. We all play on Android as well, so no differences in operating system(though this is one case where I wish we had iOS, I'd love to have the artic isles ><), and all playing on the same(fully updated) version of the game(regular old Dragon Story, none of the holiday ones).

I suggest you take screen shots if you haven't already and send a detailed email to support@storm8.com Make sure the screen dumps show the different tasks and the same level.

HOWEVER before you do that, think on when did either your daughter or your wife reach whatever level it is.

Is it possible they are on the same level now but were on different levels the day they started the Tales? There has to be a cut-off level for the easier tasks and one of them may have crossed it since starting the Tales.

I don't know, but I suggest that if one starts on the lower level requirements but levels up during the Tales, they would stay on the same task/chapter plan they started on.

I hope that makes sense.

This would indicate the cut-off is around the levels your wife and daughter are on.

Visit a neighbour and see if that forces recognition. That has worked for a few people with a similar issue.

Sprit queen x forest or melody x forest... My fails for life is so many that I lost count even now I am still getting life ... I have almost all of the green,red dragons except landworm...

But if you got winter lily I dun know to congrat you or :p

Aargh I just accidently paid 85 gems to skip 2 battles that I didn't even care if I won cos I have no intention of finishing this tales. First time I have been hit with a gem trap for a couple of years. So frustrating.

Very confused. My lvl 62 account has a completely different dragon tales chapter than my Lvl 163 & what's been posted on here. I've not gone through all the pages yet, so I might've missed something. I've not kept notes, but I'm on Chapter 4 Act 3 of 3, Complete your own good. Act 2 of 3 was, Plant 6 Pumpwings.
Am I in an alternative universe? Lol!

Oh my, am I getting myself stuck here. Forgot that I have to evolve Beast to 7 so I put a 19-hour in the evolution temple, started crafting a comet dragon at the start of the tales and might have to keep one of two nests occupied for this 3-hour dragon in the den.

2 hours till my next try... I think I'm gonna quit DS if I don't get it by then... 7 rares in a row, with Forest and Fire... that's insane... I don't know what the odds of a rare are, but 7 in a row... I might as well play the lottery with such chances...

Ah well, was time anyway I'd quit DS. Taken far too much money and time already...

Since october 2013, there hasn't been 1 event, Tales, World Event, Crafting dragon, mine or arena, Tournament I didn't get... This would be my first in 2 years...

And yes, it IS gonna make me rage-quit this game... Like I said, I didn't mind having to set an alarm every hour, and even once or twice during the nights - but luck, just plain luck? No, that's not gonna do it for me.

Lower levels get easier tasks so they don't need as much food. If you scroll back a page or two there are several posts about it.

I am SO glad I kept a Life egg from before the Tales started. Mind you, yes, I'd skip if it were problematic to breed one. I've made 120 gold from game playing rewards this week, so it would cost me nothing.

Getting Life dragon was quite stressful. I started trying for Life more than two days earlier and I was afraid I will not get it in time because I was getting rare 12 and 8 hours dragons like Dino and Rose. So when I finally got 3 hours breeding time I was very happy. I decided to try for limited time dragons then, and got another 3 hours LOL

The game has been ridiculous for me today. I'm on day 6. Had Life dragon bred a couple of days ago and the egg was sitting on the nest since then. I hatched it, got the little congratulation screen, then one for the next task (my Beast dragon is already level 10) then one about next task, the "Who am I? " quest. Sent the dragon on the quest.

A few hours later, I collected from the quest and was surprised why the little congratulations screen wasn't there. I checked the tasks and it was saying "hatch a Life dragon" again. My egg was no longer on the nest. I know sometimes the last action doesn't stick, but in this case not only should the egg still be there but even more so, an action that was performed later than hatching this egg (sending dragon on a quest) shouldn't have stuck, either.

Luckily, I had a nest free and got 3 hours with Fire and Forest right away. Sent the Beast dragon on another "Who am I?" quest. So I should be done with the chapter in 6 hours. But if it was a more difficult day, like one with multiple battles, I'd be very very angry.

The recommend games are crazy this week, aren't they? I usually only have one or two at the same time. This is a known bug and there is a separate link for what happen to you. It happen to me on 2 accts.

If it is any consolation, I have runs where my fails are all rares or super rares. I was selling Cupcakes off the nest the other day. Before that I had three Mists in a row from different combos.

Else/D_Raho - they never believe me when I report a problem anyway! I'm sure dev have much bigger fish to fry, but if they do fry this one, my sincere apologies. It isn't remotely consistent anyway.

Edit: Elsa, that is not strictly true about them never believing me, Support are always very good to me, I have to say. but that darn Gold gifting thing is STILL an issue! I just have a workaround! :)

The recommend games are crazy this week, aren't they? I usually only have one or two at the same time. Right now I have four of them (I probably would have one more because I get the pop up for it, but I already played it). The pop ups are annoying, but I'm so grateful for these games because they're a nice income of gold (for free!). But I'll save them for Black Friday :o

Wonder if the cut off for mid level is 65, someone earlier was confused that his daughters were at 66 and he and his wife were just below with different tasks. Not sure I would want no battles at this stage, but I can see how it would be difficult for many.

You can complete additional quests ahead of time to acquire the parts needed to craft. To receive credit for a goal that say complete a quest, you have to wait until that goal comes up before you collect.

Since you have to Craft 1 Fancy Flooring compared to Have 2 Resilient Roses, I'd say you can craft the roses ahead of time, while you have to wait to collect the fancy flooring until prompted by a goal.

You can craft Resilient Roses ahead of time. They are cumulative through all chapters and count towards the total to "have".

They say you should feed the beast until lv 15 sorry there is no new crop and the food dragon doesnt help.The only way is preparing enough food or planting 6 times an hour the 100 food grapes means 700 per 10 minutes.Nobody can stare 6 hours a day or longer to get 4200crops an hour.
TL is quite unfair to newbies I see ,most wont have enough gold or the time to get new gold.There are over 2345 sales in a month why should we spent it also for a stupid feeding mission?How should we ever feed some other dragons as champions to lv 15 when you always need the stupid food for dragon tales?!
-Why is there a poll for new stuff but everything which is new is any random new dragon but no better crop or more crops than this 9 different ones. I'm not a developer for games but I couldn't imagine that creating a new crop is more difficult than 76456 dragons.
Plz understand me, it is quite stupid for many players to prepare always for such events a food amount of 200.000-400.000 only to do the missions and leaving others on lv 6 or 10 as good champions ...or diamonds .

A lot has been said since my previous post, I can't quote you all, so here's my story on the tales:
I don't think the food requirement is impossible to achieve, but I'm simply not willing to spend this much food just for the tales. I've got 54 unique and mostly VERY hungry dragons waiting to be evolved to epic. I'd rather feed those.

I didn't have to craft a new fancy flooring. I already had some and the task completed immediately after winning the second battle.

Breeding Beast with Olympus resulted in an 8 hour Hermes.

Trying for a Life dragon I started with Life and Wild, as I didn't want to use my epic Fire and Forest because I use them for battling. This gave a 6 hour (Landworm) breed. Since my other nest was occupied by a Sunrise fail (tried to breed Ice Queen, didn't succeed), I spend 2 gold to speed up Hermes. Only five minutes later the evolution temple was available, so I fed a baby Fire and a baby Forest, evolved the little guys to level 4 and send them to the breeding den. Guess what? 3 hours! Lucky me... Weird thing though was that the task completed at the moment I put the egg in the nest! So it was more like 'breeding Life' rather than 'hatching Life'.

Currently evolving Beast to level 10.

I'm one day behind due to the hatch-Life-task, but I already suspected that was going to happen. Because of this and the insane food requirement I'll quit these tales after chapter 8.

If I say 'epic', I mean level 10. I still don't see the point of raising dragons to higher levels as I have enough coins, dragons don't get a new look and my level 10 commons still do very well in the Arena. Tomorrow I will have 3 dragons at epic+, Splatter, Banshee and Beast.

Nothing says you have to keep the dragon and it's not difficult to hatch especially if you plan ahead. The life dragon was the least of my concerns, I put the egg on the nest days ahead of time, hatched it and sold it once the quest was complete. Nothing to get riled about. As far as the battle goes, that is your decision to spend gold, you could have gone back and tried another tactic. I almost never spend gold in are a unless it's a tournament and then only after at least fifteen tries.

I find Diamondates 4 times a day plus one of Rushrooms is more than enough to meet the food requirements.

The food requirement is spread over the 10 days. I accumulated 120,000 before I started the tales, plus the prizes, plus a bit from mining - as I've stated before, I will end with more food than I had the day the Tales were announced. I plant the Rushrooms after any planting/harvesting requirements are done or just after reset if there are no crop related tasks, the 5 hour Diamondate crops after the Rushroooms are finished, etc etc.

My normal food routine is 3 Diamondate crops a day so this wasn't much of a change.

The newbies have much less onerous tasks, Storm 8 take their progress into account, in fact this Tales the less onerous tasks seem to go up into the level 60 range.

What is YOUR personal playing objective? Why do you think these dragons are "stupid"? The game is about collecting unique dragons, the Battle Arena is just one aspect of the game, not THE game. If the Arena is the most important thing to you, that is fine, but it isn't to everyone.

The great thing about this game is you can pick and choose what YOU enjoy. We don't all enjoy the same things, but I think Storm 8 does a very good job of catering to a wide range of playing preferences.

If you don't want the dragons, then simply don't do the Tales. You prefer to level up your Champions that is your decision and your choice.

Those of us who choose to complete the Tales are not stupid, we just have different game priorities.

Food is not a finite resource - we just grow more of it!

Yes, you can sell the habitat once it is empty. I do that with the yellow, red and green ones. I buy the small ones for the dragons to be traded, trade them, sell the habitat to reclaim the space.

Sorry if you are feeling this way... But sad to say the game is pretty fair n balance... If you want the Barbie ultra rare you must be put in a little effort, if you are level 80+ I dun see why you cannot plant 75k 5hr x 7 every day since tales start? If you want the dragon you have to log in frequent for that.

If you want to profit apples from this event just stop at chapter 5 you get almost 20k free apples n a rare dragon. That free apples you choose can feed your champions dragon :)

Stop at chapter 6 you just need to farm extra 15k+ apples but you get another Super rare dragon.

I am level54 I just need to do lvl10 n lvl9 to have the Barbie ultra rare dragon but I choose to stop at chapter8 to get the free apples to feed to my desire dragons... If you think I have a big Apple bank sorry to say I start DT at 5k apples. I plant 7x 5hr 3.2k apples n farm whenever I can.

If I want Barbie dragon I just plant 3x 75k 5hr n 4x 3.2k 5hr food from day1 I believe I still have Apple change

My epic dragons are only 4 commons n 1 skeletal knight, if you have more epics than me you should plant 5hr food 75k already,

Players have store food are not stupid my Friend, they are just more plan ahead. Again this is your game so play whenever you can n get the free stuffs when you can. But you want the better free stuffs just put in a little more effort

You can build up massive amount of foods just Diamonddates before going to bed, rushrooms during the day and Upgrapes when you have time to ****. supplement with mining and questing. 50K per day is easy. 60K is possible on average but takes an effort. 70K is challenging.

Hmmm - Chapters 5 & 6 need careful planning, don't they?

We have to collect 60 runestones after winning arena matches, so we can plant beforehand (but I don't know how many hours growing I need to get 60 runestones - do I need a second round of crops?), but my night starts to get late. My personal time zone issue is the reset happens at 7 pm, so assuming I win all three matches up front, the last match will be at just after 9 pm. I can't breed Beast until after the Runestones are collected, but I would LIKE to have him free to go Questing by 4 pm the following day for Chapter 6 and can't start his evolution to level 10 until he returns from the Quest and even if I get him on the Evolution Temple shortly after 7 pm that means a 12 am in the morning collection - he may have to sit there until I wake up, methinks!

It is all good, just needs careful co-ordination and I'll be praying for a short breeding time. No champagne, candles and romance for Beast and Night, please, just produce something nice and short - like Celestial. OK, I'll live with Deep or Electric, but Midnight will be cutting it a bit fine. This will be one time I won't complain if it IS a Coral - 10 hours will be workable!

I only need to produce 18,480 per day for the remaining 6 days. Not everyone needs to strive for 50K a day! LOL - You'll scare people!

Watch doing Rushrooms every hour - I did that a couple of weeks ago and decimated my coin balance. 26,000 x 7 x 8 = 1,456,000 a day in coins. OK if you are level 200, bit tough at level 100! :)

But I totally agree the food is certainly achievable.

As for Magic - I have NEVER had a 5,000. I am stunned if I get 500. Have you noticed he seems to get "stuck" when sent on a Quest? Others don't just him. I have to go visit the neighbour list to send him on his way.

Hi I'm LVL 193 and have sold for lack of space Magic and will not breed him only for Quest again. It was in the past always the task of the first dragon was fed to LVL 13 and now Beast at LVL 15 and Dragon 2 feed to LVL 10 is not that great

With the reason of a task feeding Beast dragon to LVL 15, I will stop at Chapter 7 after getting Cursed Rose Dragon. I will not pursue to get Beauty dragon anymore.

The food requirements for evolving Beast are ****ing me! I started the Tales this tuesday with about 50k apples, now I have 180k and Beast is level 9. I believe I need another 180k in order to finish, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to log in all weekend. I don't think I can make it :(

Is there anyone else having issues with sending the Beast dragon out on quests recently? It was fine at the start of the event, but now every single time I send my beast out on the Who I am, or For your own good quest, my tablet just freezes up and it never goes through. I've deleted the cache, checked to make sure it's up to date, turned my tablet on and off, nothing has helped, and if I can't fix it, it looks like I"ll be done with this Dragon Tales, because I am not willing to spend gold to get past a simple 3 hour long quest. Thankfully I just got my Cursed Rose dragon, so that's cool, but it would have been nice to possibly make it to the end for a change.

Funny thing is that when you wanted a dragon that is suppose to be easy to breed, it never came while when you want it to not appear it just keep jumping out from the den; especially for dragons that have short incubation time.

The better solution from my experiences here is using a minor color, Pink in this case to be specific. I bred Kitsune with Forest and get Life first try, just as expecting from all the fails I got trying for Cupcake and Winter Lily before, and of course after the first fail with tradition Red+Green only combo :(

Try breed Pink + Green (Virtue+Forest for example). Minor color breeding tend to result in Common dragon fail, and Life is much frequently appear in that combo breeding (for me at least).

Not sure what all the fuss is about with feeding to fifteen, I raised the beast to fourteen yesterday, just evolved cursed rose to ten and sitting on 30k at the moment. I have nearly three days to reach the goal. I don't see how that's a problem. Like all these other dragons that we have been raising the beast is one heck of a fighter. I am happy to add one more to the Arsenal.

Since I don't see the OP updated to reflect the "easier" path of quests for Dragon Tales, figured I'd post up for Chapter 9: Plant 6 Impruberries, then Raise Cursed Rose to level 6, then collect 60 runestones. Once that's done I'll post again saying what the final quest is for Ch.9 for those interested.

You can get it done, it's not that hard
Spend a couple hours doing grapes, you would be surprised. I missed nearly a full day and I think I will still have surplus.

I have to agree with you. Problems happen and as big as this game is, with as many people playing that there are, nothing is going to happen overnight. You have to give someone a chance to fix the problem.

so, i understand everyone is upset with this quest...but i have a big/new problem i need help with! I just got to the part where i had to breed my beast dragon with another one...i got a 44 hour breed time....is it possible i just bred my first diamond dragon? My problem is not the 44 hours it takes to spawn, but the fact that i am at my limits with habitats...do i need to empty a habitat and then sell it to put a diamond habitat on my island? I am happy to give up all hope of finishing this quest to get my first diamond...but how do i get a habitat to put it in????

Chapt 7 has 4 Acts. 2 have single items, Act 2 has 4 Battle Arena wins, Act 4 has 2 Resilent Roses. Each rose must be crafted. I'm hoping they can be crafted ahead of time or this Chapter will take a lot of time.

Your tasks depend on your level. There are three different tiers low, medium and high, you are either in low or medium. Cut off for med to high is I believe level 65. Not sure of the reason for the mid tier but assuming it's the high food requirements. Therefore your tasks will be easier but not necessarily shorter. If you look on page 7, post number 66 there is a summary that was kindly done by 19sparkles96

I've used so much gold on this quest and now at Chapter 9 I realise that I have no chance of getting enough food to go all the way through level 14 to get my beast dragon to level 15....and I started this challenge with 90,000 apples saved up. These quests are getting too hard and too expensive....I think after 3 years of playing and at level 171 I may sadly just call it a day and find something new 😢

Odd. I've been thinking of posting I thought these were still too easy, frankly. No gold is required at all. I am level 102 and have been playing for only three months.

I have no idea how people find it so difficult. I really would like something more challenging now. My first one was fun and difficult (Art Gala) because I was new and learning. The last one I thought was easy, which was good because I had a new job, so minimal effort was a bonus at that time.

Maybe Storm 8 can dream up a completely new challenge of some sort targeting just those of us who would like something quite difficult to achieve. I'd like something over a shorter time frame, say three days, but something quite challenging.

Alternatively I might try doing the Tales blind next time, with no visibility of what the chapters require us to do. That would increase the difficulty. Knowing in advance just makes it too easy to plan out perfectly.

The next is, it's nothing special anymore. Dragon tales events were something surprisingly and special. But meanwhile there are loads of those events. I get a feeling of anger when I see there is the next event, instead of feeling joy.

Like everything in Dragon Story: Too often, too fast, too expensive, too unreasonable, too much in too short time, one after the other, it's keep becoming stress than anything positive!!!

Why would I want to raise a pretty much useless purple-blue dragon when I can use the food to get a Diamond or Champion Dragon to level 15? Why would I put in the extra effort when the main prize looks like a Rapunzel that got in a fight with pink paint (including the metal cans)

It's completely possible to grow that much food in the required time for the tales, but with the current frequency of tales you don't have much food left for other dragons. Currently it feels like you're being forced to use specific resources in the game and spend extra time, to me that's losing a bit of the fun and freedom this game offered me in the past.

He might seem useless to you, but I really like him, he is stunning. All dragons are "useless" unless they come and do my dishes or wash the floors. I collect what I consider are attractive dragons. Besides, you never know - purple-blue might become the perfect Arena attack combination one day! LOL

I think we still have the freedom to pick and choose. I'm not that fussed about leveling up Champions, for example, because I find using them in the Arena boring. They are my fail safe option, sure, if I don't have an appropriate colour combination, but there is no challenge in using the Champions. I have two Epic and I will take one to 15, maybe two, but they are useless for breeding which for me is the main aim. I really don't want to win another Champion because that just means another habitat taking up space - but that conflicts with my desire to collect as many unique dragons as I can. So I'll have to decide at some point.

As Deede has just said, it is about choices, you cannot feed everyone. I mentioned before that I only feed my best which hapoens to be those I am taking into battle which include all takes dragons and a few of the dragons given away in other evens. I rarely raise other champs up as I have enough at this point. My diamonds for the most part are epic now. So really takes is the prime objective for me. I will have food left over as I hacpve grown over 50000 today already and it is only early evening. I tend to p,any into the wee hours and when watching tv etc try to do the grapes which really does help. However that being said I suffer from chronic fatigue so I have my days that I barely play. On those days, diamond dates are my saving grace. Either way, I always end up with surprise,us, without fail and if I were ever in a bad position would not hesitate to buy a bit of food. I guess we all have different priorities. I feel exactly the same about champions as Deede with the exception, I am collecting them and will cut back elsewhere. For example all those rare red yellow and gyellow green that I will never use., keeping instead more of my better fighters and tris. I cannot count how many parakeets I have sold on sight ;)

If you want Barbie dragon... Just farm for it or put in effort... I am not a fan of Barbie dragon but I really do not think it is not doable or very time consuming if you always plant 7x 5hr crop n farm them when u can be it 3.2 or 75k.. You have the right attitude actually. I wish others would just make a choice and stick with it rather than whining about how they cannot achieve the goals. The goals are achievable if you put the time in which is all it is about. If you can't or refuse to follow it, then the tales are obviously not for you. It has nothing to do with greed as you are given rewards to help you out. It is your choice if you decide to use gold to skip a task. I used a small amount to skip planting fire apples so I could continue with a better crop. I did not complain about it or even think about it again until now. Just a personal decision, as obviously mbyte has just made one. I'm no longer going to participate in forums if the current theme of hate against team lava continues, but I will keep playing tales as I do not find them particularly difficult or taxing. That's my personal decision

It is hard to understand why dragon tales has amped up requirements to finish. Level 15 takes a lot of food, basically, more then you can get playing 24/7. Giving some time in between tournaments and dragon tales would make more sense, too. Now so many of the tournament battles are with very high level dragons. So, while I will probably still play, I won't try for new dragons in tournaments or play dragon tales. It is a chpice, folks

Yeah I think what would be nice is if they are forcing players to raise these dragons so high up, have them pay better and have them be stronger battle opponents..these last few tales the dragons they give are low payers and pretty weak battlers.

If players don't like level 15, they shouldn't have asked for level 15 in the first place.

My Tales dragons are good in the Arena, when it is appropriate to use them.

If you ask me (and no, I know you didn't) the high level opponents in the Arena aren't really that "high level" as way too many players actually win against them. I think the "Level 20" is more for show than anything else to make players feel good. Yes, I had 16 losses to Dueler before I finally took him out, but realistically if they were validly Level 20 much stronger, Level 15s wouldn't beat them.

The good thing is, we do have a choice not to spend the food/gold and finish this. I struggle with food, and have decided that my priority is getting another champion to Level 15, so I have chosen not to complete the last Chapter. Yes, I will miss out on a dragon, but it's not the end of the world; there will be other dragons.
I saved a truckload of food, but I got all the gold and food prizes. And hopefully, if enough people choose to do the same, S8 may reconsider the Level 15 requirement for future Tales.

I am one of the players who had an additional Act --act 5--in Chapter 7 yesterday...in both of my games actually. When I started Tales my Islands were in the mid 60s & 70s. Now both have turned over to 71 & 81.
Am curious as to what the next Chapters may have in store...I'll report back as I find out.

I have reported this "extra" act as it has happened to people in chapter 9 as well. I believe this is an error and shouldn't be happening. I may be wrong, of course, but it looks like an error to me.

Hey anyone else have there Healing Chamber now heal dragons in one hour rather than two? All of a sudden mine is healing in 1 hour.

Can someone confirm that? I don't have any dragons to heal at the moment, so I can't check it out.

For me the event is anyway lost because my cursed rose dragon was stolen. TL fixed it, I have it back, I'm happy of having my beautiful dragon back but this had cost me such a lot time, the event is lost for me, that's the sad truth.
And I was not reimbursed the lost gold and time for this bug.

I really think of WHAT would be the problem for TL to reimburse us our lost gold and additional skip tasks for us for the lost time? Would they get insolvent when they give us back what's entitled to us? I don't await presents, I ONLY WANT BACK WHAT I LOST: Gold and time!! (Time in gold).

WHY DOESN'T TL GIVES US A STATEMENT HERE IN THE FORUM??? And pop up in the game for those who are not in the forum. Why don't they explain their parsimony to us? I await an answer TL!

TL fixed it? There is still no sign of the egg even shut the phone down several times. I have given up. Really disappointed.

I think the problem is that the game is now way too intense way too much of the time with all these time-sensitive tasks and battles and quests. It's not fun and relaxing, it's stressful and demands time in the middle of your daily schedule and as I do not intend to let a game dictate my schedule I can never keep up with the tales. The first few of them that I completed left me absolutely exhausted and drained. That's not what a game is supposed to do to you!

What I would enjoy is a demanding and challenging looooong quest that would take maybe a year to complete but wouldn't have a time limit.

This is the first dragon tale I won't be finishing because I find the food requirements for the level 15 Beast dragon too much. I'm always saving up on apples, but this one is impossible without spending gold, and I won't be doing that.

On the plus side, my boosted breed is on steroids, just got a second 44-hour timer. First one was a second Diamond, this one is a (second again) Crusader or Gold.

Honestly the task raising the dragon to lv15 costs way too much of our food!
Its impossible we can recover the food in time if we have to raise another dragon to lv15 in the next chapter event!!
Why there is a change in the tasks pattern?? I think raising dragon to lv13 in the last events just strike the balance.

2-3 events in the year would be more than enough! They're bombarding us with those events and it's getting more and more exhausting! I can't log in in the game more times a day when I'm at work!!! I even can't play at all when I'm not at home, because without WLAN this trash anyway doesn't work!!!

Shall we plan our whole life and all we have to do only for Dragon Story, set the alarm clock in the middle of the night, give up our jobs to do your silly tasks?? I'm so fed up with it!!! :mad::mad::mad:

Want a place of haters this has become. I cannot believe it. if you woukd all just buckle down, you could actually do this. Plan out your work. It is quite doable and far from impossible. I have been doing the grapes when I cam
N but otherwise mainly date and I will defiantly have excess. I will finish the beast like this afternoon, a full day ahead of sceheuke. Maybe if you stopped complaining for a while you could get this done cecause it is quite doable. No company would give a project that cannot be done. Tough yes, impossible, no. Furthermore there does not need to be stress, just decide what is important to you. You xpcannot do everything. But don't complain because you cannot do it all.

How much time do you have everyday to play Dragon Story? I'm just trying to figure out why it seems impossible for some, but easy for others.

Personally I had a couple days off during the last two Dragon Tales events, so basically I spent the whole day planning and I could plant Rushrooms every ten minutes.
But this event now is even more difficult because you have to earn more than 100.000 food more than during the previous events. I haven't even tried to calculate what food I would need to plant and how often I would need to do it because I simply don't want/like the third dragon. But the problem is that I think I wouldn't be able to get it even if I wanted to. I have a few minutes every morning to harvest and plant crops and when I come home I have about three or four hours only where I could play Dragon Story (and I'm pretty sure I couldn't plant Rushrooms all the time).
You have three or four days in advance + the 10 days for the event. That's basically two whole weeks where you need to plan every single day properly if you want to get the third dragon and it's just really stressful.

I understand both sides, though. The one side that says it's ridiculous how often events are appearing and how difficult or sometimes even impossible it is to get all dragons without spending/buying gold. But I also understand the other side that says you don't have to participate and you can simply choose to skip this event.

When you are about to sleep you should plant diamondates... But if you plant rush rooms, no one can actually help you.

I have a lot of time but that is not exactly the point. These games are pretty much geared for full time players and if you cannot do that, then I believe tales are not geared for those people. I agree it would cause stress. For those that have the time, it is fairly difficult still but certainly achievable. I think of tales almost as a reward for being able to dedicate a lot of time and energy. If I could not play full time, I doubt I would even play this game, certainly not to the depth I play it. But then I wouldn't be wooried about it either as there are too many other things to worry about such as work etc. I don't have that anymore and wish I did. Again tho, I have seen some terrible behavior here and elsewhere, where people have sworn at team lava, called them fraudsters, etc. That is clearly not acceptable just because a person is upset. They have a job to do like everyone else and they are people as well. They deserve respect. The tone of this forum has taken that same direction, one of disrespect and hate and I really don't like it. That is not why it's here. It's for help and feedback, not as a bashing outlet. And btw I agree with Devlin, if you find the game stressful, just delete it, that's what I do. I deleted hayday and FarmVille for those reasons.

I certainly echo and support Simdiva's comments about the general tone on these forums. Some players need to consider how greedy they are being, expecting Storm 8 staff to forego a living wage in order for players to get free "stuff". I know many players are teenagers without an understanding of economics, however that is no excuse for the often abusive and aggressive language. It is that making the game unattractive to many of us, not the gameplay! Sure we can walk away from the forums but we shouldn't be put in the position of feeling that way given these are the official game support forums.

Not every game is for everyone. Just because the dragons are pretty doesn't mean the game is simple.

this all event is doable even if you dont spent any gold.you just have to decide on your own if you want to finish or not. and its not even a bit stresful if you make it all on time. for this event I finished most of the days in about just fue houers playin chaptes on each day,some even I finished in 1 hour.those tasc that other players are searving for others are so big big help for game,especialy for those who dont have 24 houer time to play. I work 8 h everyday and I sleep offcorse,but still made it every day to finish those tasc. the game is stressful if you take it like that,because its not very hard to finish every day. my desicion was not to finish day 10 today,even if I had a food to feed the dragon to lvl 15( I made it to collect in time enoughe food),I wasent hang on to it very much to take it on that price. just because i like more my other dragons that are playin around on my island!

Yes, I think everyone got a spare Cursed Rose Dragon. There was a glitch that affected many community members that resulted in them losing their original Cursed Rose Dragon after completing the required tasks. Looks like S8's idea to fix the issue was just to zap another one into everyone's storage. I'll feed it up to level 4 then trade it in for spare parts. I'll never turn down a piece of onyx.

That's the problem. It doesn't take more than 30 minutes in total, but many players don't have the opportunity to log in "morning, noon, evening and night". I can only take me as an example, but I can only do it in the morning and the evening. I don't have Wi-Fi at work. So that means winning tournaments with multiple battles throughout the day or playing a Dragon Tales event where I have to do a 3 hour quest plus win 4 battles plus get 40 runestones is pretty often basically impossible.

And saying this game is basically only for people who do have enough time at home to plant Rushrooms every ten minutes is... unfair and frustrating for a lot us. I mean you have a game you like to play, but it seems so unbalanced and unpredictable. Of course you can't make it perfect and easy for everyone, but it's not only one problem that suddenly makes everyone angry. It just bottles up. And then some people just snap because they had a good plan to win this event, but suddenly they don't even have the Cursed Rose Dragon in their storage and they're multiple days behind and can't catch up. They might have even spent gold, but it's for nothing now.

As I said before - I can understand both sides and I'm not even sure which side I'm on. I'm just trying to explain some things. I'm not trying to be the bad guy here :D Of course you can always quit the game if it gets too frustrating.

I disagree that playing 4 times a day is nearly enough to pass tales. A large portion of players don't have enough coins to plant dates, for example. And then there's the battles. It took me around 12 tries to win just 2 required battles, for example! Kept losing and losing with dragons that should have easily won those battles. Also, I tried to breed Life for about 1.5 days before finally giving up.

I do agree with sandy and Hiabarra, that it takes a lot between battle etc. It's not just about the food. I plant all day which is why I have excess. Not everyone can do that. That is exactly why I stated you have to determine whether or not you can manage these events and if you cannot, then don't do them. For a time I was sorely uncompetitive in arena. It was very stressful for me. So I chose not to battle until I was better prepared. Sure I missed out on a few nice dragons. But in the end I had my sanity. And there is always another event down the road to participate in that will fit your time and schedule and possibly s**** level. I always have had the time, not always enough s****. I believe everyone needs to gauge their own needs and priorities before undertaking any event and like I said don't go bashing just because you attempt and fail. That is nobodies fault except possibly your own for making a bad decision or planning poorly.

I made the dicision to quit after chapter 8 a few days ago, no way I'm going to spend another 96500 apples for just 10 gold or even more for a dragon.
Running almost two days behind as Beast is breeding for 22 hours, I couldn't finish in time anyway. No Beauty, no stress!

We must log in every three hours to start the next quest in the quest post. Or the battles, win 4 battles, do you think it's enough to have one try in the morning and evening? Between all of that there are tasks like breeding beast dragon and directly after it the next task where we need the beast dragon for the quest post?! []! I had a breeding time of 16 hours, it ended in the night so I lost a total amount of 20 hours only for ONE TASK. So either I'm forced to spend gold for speeding up breeding, or to set the alarm clock in the night or nothing of them and lose progress! But then don't talk of my own fault when I don't set up the clock in the night!

In this event it's ongoing with nearly every task that dragons are blocked which we need for the next task.

Then the only time when workers too have the chance to be more often online, at weekend, then there are bugs like we don't get the rose dragon which is needed for the next tasks!

And you are talking about a chance to win this event?

Okay calling it quits, it's the 1st tales I've not complete since android have been able to join in, spent a bit of gold, spent a lot of time getting to chapter 10 but I should have worked it out sooner, there was no chance of getting beast to level 15, well at least I tried, probably won't try as hard on next tales, it's to much effort, the timezone doesn't help as my new day starts after I've left the house to go to work, so I can't actually start til 6:30pm. Oh well not much to do on this game these days, breeding gets harder the higher the level you get, getting bored & this event has just annoyed me.

Well I finished on all three accounts, of course it helps I was home recovering from an auto accident and had time to waste. I did still end up buying food on my main account as level 15 at 19800 per feeding was too much for what I built up

I don't know if anyone else has finished the Tales, but I found a second rose dragon in my storage when I went to check on some decorations after i finished the Tales earlier today. Is this a glitch or luck or what? Or has anyone else gotten a second cursed rose dragon?

I got a second cursed rose dragon as well. It was in my storage this morning, thought it was a mistake on my part as I was sure I had levelled mine up to 10 as part of the tales (I am very sleep deprived, dealing with a newborn!) but my level 10 was still in the habitat. Not sure what happened?

If you have the time to sit and do upgrapes for a few hours, you can really get ahead fast. 4200 an hour if you are consistent. To give an example, I started with around 70,000 this morning and now have nearly 95k. Part of that came from a 5000 food quest with Magic.

I am level 47 and I'm on last chapter, chapter 10, act3: have 5 Resilient Roses. But it says act 3 out of 4. I didn't see in this thread anyone reporting 4 acts in chapter 10 for low level players. Does anyone know what's act 4 is then? I want to make sure I can prepare and finish it on time (as I'm still on my last quest to get the skeleton key to craft resilient rose).

I wont finish this in time, because I wasted toooooo much time on the stupid battles again. I just turned in the 2 roses and can finish every part, but needing to turn in 4 more roses is where ill stall, with this little amount of time left.

Im find with that. I got 2 dragons out of the deal, but these games of making the battles harder is getting very old. To the point where ill grow bored as I did with the battles and wont click the Start button at all.

You should be the same level quest with me n my Neighbours.... I am not there yet but my Neighbour has told me that last act was ???? N just complete n he got his Barbie dragon... Hopefully it is the same for you

I only have 7 1/2 hours left and won't be able to do the last act as I won't be able to get one of the dragons up to level 15. I don't like the dragon that much either so I will use my food to help level up the two gold dragons I plan to buy tomorrow. Don't want to waste any gems on food for this dragon when I can get a couple of gold dragons which should be much more helpful to me. This might be the only Tales event I never finished. i don't ever recall having to get a dragon to level 15 before.

This time the Dragon Tales event went way too far. Forcing us to hatch a Life Dragon?? Seriously???? I had to breed 4 times before I finally got the COMMON dragon so I could move on to the next act - 2 wilds and a landworm to total 18 hours wasted trying to get a stupid, common life on the 4th try!!!! A day behind from that point, nice going TeamLava, way to handicap your players in a timed event. THEN you require us to use 342,960 in FOOD just to raise the Beast up to a 15, on top of the 38,460 to raise the Cursed Rose to a 10 - totaling a whopping 381,420 in FOOD to finish JUST those two (2)!!!!!! Come on Team Lava! You only allow us to get 800 for $75,000 every five (5) hours - way too low for that price by the way!!! That is excessively high, especially for a TIMED EVENT! NEXT you handicap us in the Battle Arena by consistent loses, requiring an hour cool down before the next battle - a loss of 10 additional hours - in a TIMED EVENT!! Clearly you do NOT care a wit about your players and seem to actually WANT us to quit playing completely. I will NOT finish this Tales event, I simply do NOT have enough food to meet the requirements (and I do NOT have time to use any tricks like "Upgrapes" do to WORK) - much less the time required to continuously lose in the Battle Arena no matter which dragon I choose to fight - it is designed to fail you several times before you get through it (unless you happen to be a favorite of the programmers at Team Lava of course). As a minister I do NOT have any extra money to spend on a game, I'm lucky to make ends meet at all (and no, unless you're a Catholic Priest no one pays your housing, food, medical care, utilities bills except you!). How kind of you to frustrate your players and make clear that you want nothing but hard cash from them. You should take a few business classes and learn how to treat people, instead of trying to FORCE people to pay for a "free" game! I'm disgusted by this whole thing.

I have a second cursed rose dragon in storage too. Didn't I read earlier in this thread that someone didn't get theirs? I wonder if a glitch in the DS matrix is sending dragons to the wrong players.

I think everyone got a Cursed Rose as part of the fix of the original problem. I have a second one in my Storage too.

I find that it helps to completely close and logout everyday. At the beginning of the day I open the game and then select the Tales icon. Doing this seems to work.

If I have the game open from the previous day and then try to start the Tales for the day then there are hiccups.
