many of us started y'day, and asked all nbrs about parts for 1st appliance.
but we got max 20 of these parts until reset.

tdy, certain time passed untill we got to the goals with apples.
during this time, our nbrs that didn't received our request y'day, got it tdy. and nswered.
so our "cry" for apples will come to them only tomo )))

Agree, either some of their neighbors accepted the parts request from yesterday today or they have asked more than 10 people for the Golden Apples and they accepted too thus contributing to the request limit.

Anyone else think the rustic Apple chairs are not to scale? When put next to regular chairs they look like a child's seat. Also, what's with needing mallets for every appliance build lately? Are we smashing the food?

After the first gold apple request everything is unlocked except the purple and white tent, so what's the rush? Personally I think I am going to drop out of the goals now as in my opinion, the tents ugly. It won't fit in with my Halloween decor either.

Just putting this out here and I'm not really pertaining to a single person as I've seen this comment so often lately - what's up with players calling out other players who finish goals fast? Everyone has their own way of playing, we don't all have to be on the same pace. Don't think that those who are quick in doing goals are always in a rush to finish them. Personally, it's because I dislike cooking a single recipe a million times that I make it a point to build 6 of each appliance. It's not rushing the recipes, but it helps with fulfilling the goal. I remember having built only 1 Cocoa Maker for the Christmas goals two years ago (had just gotten back from being mia) and it irritated the heck out of me because I had to cook the recipes over and over for more than two weeks. Now that I have tons of parts in my storage and coins I can freely spend without caring much for profit, I don't see why I shouldn't use them. So please, however one chooses to play the game is one's own discretion. There's no need to be called out for your choices.

Totally true! I went from doing goals normally in a week to nearly 2.5 - 3 weeks last month due to work I keep forgetting I have goals to do, LOL! As for RS goals my first batch of recipes spoiled yesterday, and I don't know if I'll remember to cook next few days except on Sundays which is the only day I'm free.

I'm just glad we only get monthly goals, otherwise I'd feel like it's a chore and not something to de-stress and enjoy. :)

i'm looking at goals dynamics over one year, i mean in respect of profitability.
and i see that they are more and more expensive by the end of the year.
somewhere in spring or in the summer we can do $300-$600k profit (when master all recipes from goal).
but for hallo, thanksgiving and christmas goals - around $100k only... strange. it's holidays... but explanable, i guess. due to bf and christmas sales, low profit wd rather push people to buy gems to get decor they want :)

There's nothing wrong with being genuinely amazed/curious and asking others about it, that's how we get forum discussions going. However, some people really come off quite strong - as if they're almost annoyed at you for advancing into the goals quickly. We don't know the reason why people do goals the way they do, so why must other people question their playing strategy in such manner is unknown to me.

While I agree that stressing over a game is strange, I still wouldn't call them out because again, it is their own game and their own self they are stressing. Unless they're pulling me in to join their little stress circle, I'm not about to judge them. xD

HA! I uninstalled Bakery Story 2 as I gave up on level 12 and it really wasn't any good tbh and Castle story is just boring and gave up on that too! Ha I'm still awaiting the problem regarding baker's square in BS from last week as they are investigating this LOL!!

You don't need to play to get those gems, you can just install and open the game and that's it, you get 6 free gems in all of your games. And the annoying pop-up disappears. So why not? I'm glad I get weekly goals because that means 6 free gems for me almost every week.

Btw, there are people who do play those games. If you don't like them, that doesn't mean others don't too. Be a little more open-minded.

If I were you, I would just install the games from amazon or any other store. You would get the gems and the pop-ups would disappear (I've tried it myself). I mentioned this before but you weren't interested. Unfortunatelly, I don't see any other way for you to stop those pop-ups since S8 never cares what we like or don't like.

I like apple tables from this update. They go perfectly with pear chairs! Those chairs were always available in shop for 4000 only, but the tables for them cost 4 gems. What a great chance to buy those cute and cheap chairs and to use them in combination with the new tables.

Okay, I kind of have a suggestion.

I think they should increase the cooking time.
Two reasons, one, for busy people who ant check their phones regularly, a lot of the food goes waste.
Second, the tasks get over quickly.
I like that they added the gold and silver apples in this task.
I know a lot of lower level users play with 2-3 appliances, but still the goals get over within a week.
I recd this goal on 12th around 1am (as per Indian timings) and was done by 15th morning using 4 & 6 appliances respectively.

Since we get monthly goals, I think it would be cool.if they atleast lasted around a week even if you had like 6 appliances.

That was part of what I wanted to say. If they gave us minimum 3hr recipes, and doubling to 6 hours before it spoils, we atleast get some time.to attend to it. I have 2.5-3 hr lectures with half a hour breaks. By the time, the food is spoiled and I have to do again. If we dedicate ourselves to doing the task it gets over so quickly, and if we're busy or tryin to live RL, most of the time the food gets spoiled.

I don't get that the first appliance in a goal always has such short recipes :confused:
If the first recipe was 3 hours, then the 2nd was 4, then the last 5 hours, the goal would be more challenging. Then the 2nd appliance could have 4, 6, & 8 hour recipes. As it is players get to the 2nd appliance by the next day most of the time because of all the short recipes. I'm just about finished mastering the 1st appliance recipes. Will finish them off today & can put those stoves in storage for good.
The goals are completed way to quickly in my opinion. Make them more challenging S8!

I'm disappointed in this month's goal. We had apples in September and now in November. Chairs are too small, don't care for the Apple tables either. Was hoping for Thanksgiving decorations.. But nope. The bobbing for apples display looks like the kids are throwing up. I don't usually dislike goals, but lately I've been very dissapointed. I hope whoever is designing them wakes up. I hope the Christmas goal is about Christmas!! And it would be great if the people in the displays could look 'normal'.. Meaning smiles, or tongues not hanging out. How come we aren't able to turn them in all directions? I've been asking for that for about a year.. PLEASE?!! Maybe it's time to change goal designers.. I've been playing for 3 years.. Very bored with the game as of late. Step it up some RS, PLEASE!!

Goals are once a month, you don't have to do goals they will disappear after timer runs out. I like to do them because you can't purchase the goal oven/stove/drink machine/decor unless you do them, and sometimes the final prize is very cute. And for Android yes many versions of Restaurant Story each one usually has a new oven, most current I believe is "Royal Blues". I usually download new version buy new oven/decor on it, then uninstall it and just keep regular version. New stuff will be still show up on regular version. That way I don't take up too much memory on my device with multiple versions.
