There have also been like four dragons that had a 3rd type besides Black and Yellow... (Amphora, Earthquake, Hearth, Astro)

You don't need to mention that when the date of my country is the same has yours, day/month/year, that's no excuse when in English class we learn that in America the date is month/day/year. Like already has been said earlier, you need to consider where the company is located, US in this case.

Wasn't it obvious that it would be a Tournament? I really like this dragon and was hoping we might be able to breed it, but I didn't really had any hope for that.

Well, I'm on chapter 7 of the Dragon Tales event and I'll have to win 10 battles. At least the tournament makes it easier because the first 10 dragons are usually doable. I don't plan to win that Tournament. I like the dragon, but I care more about the Spirit Queen Dragon and I already spent some gold on the last tournament. I won't do this everytime.

I'm curious - why did you pick Atlantis to fight Turtle? Is it because you don't have any dragons with any of the preferred colours/elements (e.g. Mythic, Fairytale, Rainbow, Champion)? I know the calculator gives Atlantis 10 an 80% win chance, I'm just "gathering research" for a theory I am working on!

I just gave it priority I find rainbows particularly useful as a rule ie lollipop and Noveau have both proved their worth. sour is at eight not too wirried about it as its only rare but still...if I could only get the elusive tyedie lol

This tournament was extremely hard. It's really driving me nuts. One of the hardest tourney I've ever had.

I'm curious - why did you pick Atlantis to fight Turtle? Is it because you don't have any dragons with any of the preferred colours/elements (e.g. Mythic, Fairytale, Rainbow, Champion)? I know the calculator gives Atlantis 10 an 80% win chance, I'm just "gathering research" for a theory I am working on!
Sorry, I didn't see your post earlier. I didn't pick Atlantis because of the colours or any theory behind the game. Just needed a dragon with a high chance to win to finish my last 5 battles for the dragon tales. I was running out of time and had a lot of dragons in line for the spa, because I had had a hard time winning any battle before the tournament started. Afterwards I could use my Champion again, which was probably a better choice to fight this particular dragon. So, I obviously can't contribute anything to your research, ... But I wish you good luck anyway.

Instead of restarting which really does not do much try this, first do not mine till. All of the below are completed. Collect any coins, visit a neighbor briefly, then come back and do any needed planting. Then force close your game. Then feel free to reopen and mine. If you do all of that you should be fine provided you have a stable connection and a good device. This has nothing to do with team lava but rather is based on sync issues between you and team lavas servers. By taking the above steps it gives your device a chance to catch up. I have never had an issue since doing so and I used to be plagued a fair bit.

Well, Rogue is a bit of a challenge. I just don't have the firepower required, so will have to work on trial and error and HOPE that random factor is working in my favour!

After the Tales, I just don't have a spare 100K of food to raise Diamond up to 15. My Diamond never seems to be able to fight her way out of a paper bag anyway, unless it is against another Diamond: then she is ferocious.

I face Rogue next , so far no problems but am using same method as you that's the avoid colour section just hoping it continues, but I do have epic soccer Egypt L9 and Olympus but those can be hit or miss success except for my Germany or Brazil of course for me ..... May well try Banshee for Rogue hopefully .....

Gemz4me and Pernmagic - my Nightlight was a little light on at level 8, however Banshee knocked Rogue out in one fell swoop, almost. So close to a KO I could hardly see Rogue's meter at all, but he was still there, so a slight tap sent him on his way.

Edit: Glad it is working for you too Pernmagic - easiest I've done any tournament so far. Only issue is ones like Rogue where I don't have the dragons my plan tells me to use. By the way, Spirit Queen almost took him out: straight from the nest. She shows promise.

I don't have what I'd like to use, so I'm going to throw Splatter into the ring and see what happens. I'd like to have a Gemstone or Fairytale red or blue hybrid but I don't yet, so must work with what I have. If all else fails, there is always trusty Warrior Prince or any of his ilk, if you have them.

I want to get Warrior Prince (don't have his sister or parents) to level 15. Warrior Prince, Diamond, Night Elf, Dark Crystal and Atlantis (or Winter Rose) are my high priority pending elevations at the moment. Need to find a good green/purple as well. Yes, the randomness built in to the formula means that what wins for one person doesn't win for another necessarily. Otherwise everyone would use the same dragons.

I'm not convinced there is an island specific reference, but there could be. For example, Diamond rarely wins anything for me (not level 15 yet though) unless the opponent is another Diamond. Warrior Prince has good and bad days, I find. Waiting to get some more leveled up, can't keep depending on so few senior dragons on my island.

Mind you, ROund 20 is usually a difficult round in every tournament! LOL

If you have Gilded Knight you might want to epraise him up instead as it will cost you much less and he has the same power in the ring . A rare champion is the same as a super rare for all intents. That's why I chose to do that one instead if one of the others. I will also do the princess once I get caught up as well as infinity or possibly angel. I don't see a real need to take anyone else to fifteen for fighting as the diamond and champs are beasts at fifteen. Unless you want to do prime dragons no real need.

I'm figuring I'm going to need help when I get there. I have nothing that meets the requirements. I keep meaning to buy Olympus to get some of that type happening on my island, but I keep getting attracted to shinier fruit..... like saving for a Treasure Terrace, always thinking I'll get Olympus "tomorrow" or will get from Infinity/Diamond breeding - never happens....

Unicorn is very tough I have not got it despite a lot of temp,e breeding nor have I got a black. If you have idol, try breeding that with anything got me three Angels. Also black cat just gave me Anubis. I think I got a few with zodiac but I forget which one since I have them all but Astro now. Would suggest you do your champ before infinity, it will do you more good, then infinity.

I don't worry about the weekly releases much figure the ones we get for free are better as a rule generally anyhow. And I know how you feel about too many hybrids, I almost started trading infinity but they come in handy for breeding. I would not want extras of the colors tho. I finally got a third nest and that seems to have really helped as I don't feel the pressure to speed breed now. Furthermore, I am still trying for gold when I get it I will probably quit.

I just noticed it went from 4 down to 3 at the reset time. Not sure if there are hours hidden in there though. If it were me, I'd assume reset time to be safe.

Sugarplum gave me a terrible time lol had three go down to her before the queen finally took her down second time around. Expected trouble with iris but she fell quick. Unicorn I think will be the final hurdle but I will just throw every diamond at it till it falls. Btw don't be too annoyed he may not have ****ed her if you used him first.

Might be time to level up your diamond some. It goes down easily to a higher level diamond and it's fairly easy to level the diamond, low cost vs value. I know it hurts at first but trust me it's worth doing. Same with a champion, just be sure to pick a cheaper champ like the princess or the gilded knight. Even going to level 12 will be a big help and then increase as you can. Don't worry about others going up just the diamond and champ.

I wouldn't recommend pink against Cauldron. Pink is weak against black, so you will lose points towards your crit score. White/green better. Quetzal worked for me after a sped up lift to epic.

Quetzal won for me. I don't have a level 15 Champion yet, so wasn't an option. I figured I could ultimate or invest that gold in speeding up Quetzal's evolution to 10. Luckily the investment paid off and will have future benefits.

Try leveling up diamond to 14. It's not crazy bad. Going to 15 is so I stopped there- plus you don't need to evolve at 14. 14 diamond took care of rogue first try for me. Just a thought hon

Try leveling up diamond to 14. It's not crazy bad. Going to 15 is so I stopped there- plus you don't need to evolve at 14. 14 diamond took care of rogue first try for me. Just a thought hon

Well, Rogue is a bit of a challenge. I just don't have the firepower required, so will have to work on trial and error and HOPE that random factor is working in my favour!

After the Tales, I just don't have a spare 100K of food to raise Diamond up to 15. My Diamond never seems to be able to fight her way out of a paper bag anyway, unless it is against another Diamond: then she is ferocious.

Lost my ultras Pirate and Spirit Queen... but I think the other colors bothered - and finally Night 8 took Unicorn down with BM... Just black :-)

Might be time to level up your diamond some. It goes down easily to a higher level diamond and it's fairly easy to level the diamond, low cost vs value. I know it hurts at first but trust me it's worth doing. Same with a champion, just be sure to pick a cheaper champ like the princess or the gilded knight. Even going to level 12 will be a big help and then increase as you can. Don't worry about others going up just the diamond and champ.

The problem I have is that my game is the 'old version' where I only evolve at Level 6 and 9 (not 3), which means that all my food goes on feeding dragons up to Level 7 to get bombs for the mining dragon. I'm still only on 116 pieces for the Garnet.

I just don't have any extra food to feed up my Epics, at least until I get my Mining dragon, which is usually just before it expires...

It's a problem!
