I like the new event, but it's a bit sad that we need 20 keys to unlock a halloween pal. I'll propably have to buy keys with gold, unless they release new normal levels.

How's it going for you so far? I'm stuck at level 11, can't find fitting pals.

Trying for level 13 now. Needed a break from crystal caverns so went here instead. They aint easy but somehow fun. Just debating with myself if i should go for halloween PETs or normal ones as the halloween one might be useless after this event

Seems Like it. The levels are pretty hard but atleast gives Keys. At 14 now

I'm enjoying this extra level. I've managed to collect stars faster than I was on crystal caverns, so I'm happy to have picked up one new pal. Yay.
Up to level 21 now.
Unfortunately I didn't take a screenshot of what lineup I used for level 14 (only 1 star though, just completely forgot to take a pic.) Sorry.

To me it looks like you have to spend keys in getting all six of the Halloween event puzzle pals to get Jasper. Which if true is a lot to ask from twenty odd days on the game!

It says nothing about any of the other Halloween pals. It's been 24 hours since I completed all the stages and still no Jasper or gold bars.

Level 13 was pretty straight forward. I just used 2 blasters and 2 bombs, whichever were my cheapest of the available colors. I'm at level 68 so my pals are quite strong, I'm sure that helped. I would suggest not using pals for light boxes or stones and just try to match as many blaster/bomb combos as possible.

After reporting the issue over in the "bugs & issues" folder the problem was promptly corrected. I now have Jasper and the bars that were promised. If anyone still hasn't received their rewards after completing all the stages, try force closing the app. When you open it back up everything should be there.

I just got through this stage and was stuck on it for days as well. I have to add that I tried this lineup a few times, sometimes with a lot of luck, and sometimes with none. It seemed to me that you need mostly reds with only one blue. Others may have done a better job than me (with a better lineup - only 1 star,) but here you go: (good luck btw!)

Yes, the xp levels max out, but they've just released a new level (Bubbly Beach) which also gives more xp levels. It also seems to make me 'catch up' on the xp levels I may have missed out on since being maxed out. So I went from 69 up to 73 today with the new update. But will prob max out at 75 again though. :confused:

I have a had a hard time with the game actually advancing me.
I get past a level and find myself back at a previous level.

For instance (posted this in the bugs) I have been put back at 21 TWICE today
So i thought ok i will try 21 again, got past it ... bam!
put back to 22, set it up with the pals i wanted, got past it! two wins in a row.
the game put me back at 21 AGAIN
couldnt even go to 23.

Update: second try after putting this post out there I got my 3rd star! Maybe I should just come here and post before EVERY STAGE! LOL Now on to stage 12 for my 3rd star.

I am kicking myself for not taking screenshots my first time through the Halloween challenge! I am now going back to 3 star any stages I left without that accomplishment. I have 2 stars on stage 11 and I can't get even close to getting the 3rd star. I am hoping that my past luck with posting here for help will kick in and as in the past, I will go back to play it again (for the 50th time) and get my 3rd star. I have screenshots bow for 1-10 all with 3 stars.

I got it ! Unfortunatelly I can't take a screenshot from my lineup, I used 2 light blue- blaster and bomb, yellow brick remover and purple blaster... Don't start with the yellow gems, start with the red ones left and right at the top. That's how I solved it :-)

Finally beat Lucien! Took me 3 and a half days
I did it with a blue blaster
light blue that takes away the locked spaces
yellow that takes away blocks
red bomb

start the left with matching the yellow pieces in the middle on each side of the where the blocks are.
the blocks break one yellow comes down on each side and then the whole middle column will open, giving you at least two bombs at the bottom.

I was close four times and once i was 8 points short of beating him
one time i may have done it but my finger moved the wrong piece on my last turn

I used a red blaster (Harold), the red blaster/rock remover (Phoebe), yellow bomb (Theo) and yellow swirl remover (Manny) to get past that level. Any combination of red and yellow should work tho, just try to create special gems, combine them and try to remove the swirls as soon as possible.

I dont think so. I bought enough keys to try for six of them. I got five of them. It appears that if you get all six you get the event prize that was as well. So maybe if you are close but dont think you can do it you can get the keys.

I will say this event was a challenge for both of my accounts but even more so for my 2nd. Yes, you should have received Jasper, the mouse looking character, for beating all 24 levels, then beating Lucien at the very end. If you did all of that and still didn't get Jasper, you should contact support.

I was in the same position when I reach that level...only one purple monster. This is the team I used and got two stars. Try to make as many bomb and line blaster combos as you can while also trying to clear the swirls.

Thank you wildcat for your posts-I completed the final stage on the second try ( I did not have your exact pals but used good level 2 ones--2 bomb pals, brick guy and a frame one). I really did not think I would do it cause I spent days on some of the lower levels and am now working on getting more stars. No problem getting the reward pal/gold!
