New Level Cap- Max level 200

Today i found a new update in the play store, which i did and now on android we have 4.4.4.2g version.
Half an hour ago, accidentally i noticed that i am on level 160, instead of 150 and the level bar isn't full, which means that there are more levels.
So, i mentioned it to a friend of mine, which started the game a few months earlier than me, to check it out for herself too and she confirmed that we have new levels. She is on level 165 and she also has more to go...
Then i visited 2-3 neighbors of me, but their level remains 150.
As i see, noone has mentioned it in the forum yet.
So, what's happening?
Do we really have a new level cap or is it a bug of the last update?

All this time i was happy and proud that i have reached to the cap and now i have to put new big effort to reach the next one! :mad:
Just kidding :p lol
I hope it's true and not a bug and i also hope this new change will bring some more benefits (like more habitats, farms etc.), because only the new extended limit means almost nothing :confused:

I saw that my game updated a little while ago but didn't know what changed.... I'm at 157 now. My highest neighbor is now 190 so maybe 200 is the new max?? Is there a max? lol I wonder why the cap was raised. I wonder what's in store for us....

My highest neighbor is also 190, the second one is 185. I wonder is the level cap for habitats have been changed.

Yes, this is an intended change. The level cap has been raised to 200. :)

Going to check Playstore to see if update is available that hopefully increases habitats and brings android the dragon album finally.

no update eres yet eithers , be nice if it included better odds of breeding non commons all the time with 15 lvl dragons and such also still , but we can dream theres :) off topic but still wanting to try DS2 in the UK eres LOL

Not trying to be rude, but why? I mean level 80 gives you the last perk (the land mining) or am I overseeing something? What does it matter if the level cap is 150 or 200? Would be cool if the habitat or farm limit would increase as well, though. Are there any new advantages or are there any planned?

Have to echo this question. Other than saying, "yay, I'm level [whatever]," what's the point? Unless there'll be a new habitat increase, new farm limit, or anything else that might actually be useful, I don't see the reason for the update.

Don't expect any changes, if there are any changes I will be pleasantly surprised. I played some of their old games where they raised cap from 200 to 300 and nothing changed..Well except for the fact that they stopped supporting those games 10/26/15. Now my lvl 300 is history :(

I am now Level 191 so an increase of 41 levels over night. How high did you jump on this change? It is too bad they did not increase the habitat cap. That is the most pressing issue right now. I am tired of selling off commons and habitats I have bought because I can not buy more than 146 at the moment.

Did anyone on Android only jump higher than 181? Seems like a strange place but my xp bar has seemed to stop here. Also I've been doing plenty to see something and it's not moving anymore

Maybe the level increase is the first stage to a habitat increase? There must be a reason, we hope.....

I went back to level1 for a while after the upped the level ceiling. I could only do what a level 1 can do. The quest was gone. Could only plant Impruberries and Fireapples. But after a while it went to 200 and everything was fine again. But if you're going to raise the level ceiling why only 200? It doesn't make any sense. Soon everyone will be lvl 200 just like previously half the players were lvl 150. Anyway I know have screenshots of a level 1 island full of habitats and dragons :-)

If you are level 150 or lower, your level controls the max haibtats you can have. I know someone in the level 130s and there current max habitat is 120 or so. You are right though once you butt up against where you can have 146 and 146 is max then yeah there is an issue. Maybe a level 200 means you can gradually go up to 200 habitats based on your level as new updates come out.

Also you have to remember the Dev team is a little slow on the uptake and it takes many months for most changes to work there way through the system.

Don't forget it can take 2 years to develop and implement changes. Design, dev, testing, etc etc etc. it is never a 5 minute change.

Perfect example is Android vs. iOS. Updates being slow is an understatement. Android is still awaiting the "Coming Soon" that has been there almost a year or so. I doubt we will ever get the artic isles or dragon albumn. Who knows, maybe this is a start to trying to make it just one game and not full version on iOS and trial version on Android. I dunno if Kindle support was cancelled all together or not. Havent bothered looking at DS on my Kindle in a year or so, sad because thats what I started on.

They like to ignore and keep their customers stressed out and hating them . Mods will answer basic questions or give you support email or some issues, but getting any kind of response for important things needed or things to maybe come in game forget it, good luck. They'll sit back and watch 100s of pages of posts go by without saying anything

I just opened my game on iOS and saw that I was level 186 and got really freaking excited... but there is no change between level 150 and 200 (no increase in farms (7), habitats (146) or nests (4)). I don't really see the point. Eventually from playing, I will level up to 200 just seems like a pointless change.

Yeah baby steps for these devs. We have been waiting way too long for a habitat increase that makes sense. We were at 140 on 12/1/14. In 11 months we only got an increase of 6. The devs, and TL/S8 need to do the needful ASAP
