Hmm I also like this idea, though Astromancer is the only diamond I'm missing from this pairing.

I've used Big Bad/Night twice and have bred Cosmos and Waverider so far.

I've also thought about going back to using Fairytale/Dapper as this was how I bred both Troll and Hunter in the past.

I wasn't expecting to get it at all! I've tried over 100x for Troll & still don't have it, so I figured this one would be even worse.

Just put Bat & Queztal on the nest and got 20 hour time. So either it's Island (very bad) Spell (awesome!) or Troll (excellent!). Knowing my luck, it'll totally be Island :(

Used Quetzal and Bat several times... Ended up getting the 23 hours timer and was really exited to get the Cauldron... Was even more excited and happy when I transferred the egg and realized it was a Dark Angel 'fail' ;)

I've gotten waverider, Hunter and now nymph. I couldn't find nymph on the calculator which is weird because it's not a new dragon so it should be there but whatever. Didn't have any of those so I'm happy. Would still like cauldron though!

It doesn't say limited in the market, Hiabarara, but the goal says three days now. Maybe you are right and the goal is only there for a few days, but the dragon is staying.

I came back to try for Cauldron based on the goal days, was having no luck getting Duchess. Mind you, no luck with this one either!

Thank you for clarifying that for me! I am actually quite angry now though. I have been trying for 4 days straight to get the cauldron dragon. I have spent at least 1000 gold - yes I realize I could have bought it by now - I have gotten about 5 other dragons that I didn't have in the process, so I guess that is some consolation but....! I have only been playing a few months so I did not realize that the goal only would disappear and not the dragon. I wouldn't have worried so much and spent so much gold. Uggghhhh. And to add insult to injury, I do not have the hunter and the gold dragon that seems to be landing the dragon or a diamond or lotus to try anything different than night other than the spooky tree dragon. Ugggh - *smacks self in forehead* "Good grief, Charlie Brown!"

My last four attempts have been two Island followed by two Coral. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Then I came up against him in the Tournament. Decidedly unpleasant looking character, if I may say so. Which may be ideal for some people, but I think I'm going to give up trying for this one. The Island fails have not humoured me much either. Last seven matings have resulted in either Coral or Island. So I decided to go for Moon and I think I'm getting a Luck - could be Cloud, but I already have that too.

I have been filling my 4 nests since the day Cauldron came out. This is beyond unusual for me. Makes me think that there is a systematic problem in the code. I have been using Secret & Quetzal. When I filled my nest this morning, I told myself that I am done with this dragon. After reading posts on this forum thread, I will switch to Hunter & Gold.
