There is still the possibility there are rare drops but even then I had hoped it would be more often than that. I agree it's way too much work for just a pond, albeit a colorful pond.

So far no rare drops? At 12 hour collections I'm sure not a lot of attempts have been made but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I like the idea of a Kraken.

I also agree with several players who've mentioned how wonky the pond is when rotated. It either needs to be bigger to better fit the 4 squares it occupies or be put on 1 square (which is probably the best option since it's so small to begin with).

Being called the "essence" pond, I had rather hoped it would drop essences: enchanter's, lumin, and mythic. :/

Meh. I was getting hardly any candy from drops anyway so there was no way I was getting 55 worm puddings. So at least I didn't miss out on anything big. They need to rethink how hard they're making these special items to get or at least make the items worth it.

Unless the tide turns to the storage basement it goes... 12 hours JUST to collect water and the occasional fish... S8 MUST be laughing at us now...

I decided to hope for some additional step there. It's Halloween and there's everything about sorcery, witches, spooky stuff and so on, and magic has been some part of the game plot all the time, so my suggestion for the next part would be:
Ivy is about to end her probationary period as a witch and will have to proof she is worth to be part of the witches' guild. In order to do this, she has to cast a spell on the essence pool to make it drop essences instead of just water.

Only problem is, what about the players who havn't even started yet "sister, sister"? Wouldn't make sense to them I guess, so probably this kind of storyline is unlikely to come. Would be nice, though :).

Well let's hope for something to come in any case. Maybe, for thanksgiving, we have to through a bunch of turkeys into the pool to express our thanks to those spirits inhabiting the grounds of it, and they'll finally give us some essences in return. Or whatsoever ;).

If it just all ends there, it's indeed a major disappointment.

I did hear back from PikaSquirrel this morning and she has also posted in the main thread. Our feedback has been forwarded to the development team. I guess we need to wait a bit longer to see if anything changes. I wish it was better news..... I think the pool is very pretty and it it would be a good feature piece if the drops were good.


Thank you guys so much for all of your feedback regarding this event. We have forwarded your feedback about the event + the drops from the Essence Pool and Orphanage to the game team.

Now we have finished the event, I'll close this thread and keep the main one open for a bit longer.
