How to **** a gobbler

I have a basic question. I am on level 125 and am still struggling with ****ing the gobblers. Where exactly do you need to match candies next to the gobbler? I think I have it and then the gobbler is still there. I don't remember what level introduced them and it is not on the FAQ.

You will need to make two matches next to a Gobbler in two consecutive moves (or in one move with a second match caused by a drop). Hope this helps!

I am at level 101, and gave up on this game.
