Hi mylilstina :) yes, you get one candy per hour per crop. Most people, including myself, plant 20 hour crops overnight to get a big payoff and to make sure there aren't any passing hours that don't yield food/candies. Also, you can collect candies by hatching eggs, so whenever I have a free nest, I purchase either Air, Water or Light Dragons to hatch & sell to help my count. Good luck & hope you have fun!! If you have any other questions, these forums are filled with super nice & helpful folks!

You get 1 item per 1 hour food crop. I would assume an hour of buff beets would give you 1 part.

I emptied my farms and earned the Candy Sack right away. iT took a while but when it showed up in storage, i put it out , i went and visited a neighbour..game crashed and when i came back to tge game , my Candy Sack was gone and was not even in storage..any ideas anyone?

Might just be a glitch that makes the shack kind of invisible temporarily. Try force closing and rebooting your device. Hopefully that will clear it up :)

you can also collect candys in ''Quest Outpost''...it's a last dragon on the botom-forest dragon this time,every 4 houers you get 4 or 5 candys for this event!

I just had to collect from my farms when spinning the wheel one last time this morning. Dang it! It's going to be hard doing this on four islands but I'm up for the challenge. I have more than enough useless extra fire Giants on my other accounts to get at least two or three dragons.

I have four nests on my main one so the work usually does itself. I LOVE the look of the bridge of Frankenstein.

Usually you get 1 item, in this case cursed candy, per hour of grow time. You will eventually get the candy from buff beets, but only after you have planted enough for an hours worth of growth.
Personally, I found it to be a lot less hassle to plant a 20 hour crop, and a five hour crop once a day or so.

If you're looking for your Candy Sack in storage, try under All. Functional items don't show under the Deco tab. :)

Theres a minimum level requirement to participate in world events, I think 25? Between 25 and 30

lol- maybe! I sent out Forest and got back candies - can't remember how many, 5 maybe?

On these events I just mainly do two things: plant a 20-hr crop and make sure 2 nest is never empty (buy dragons that can be purchased by coins). If you just do that, that should yield a minimum of 1300 candies. But im sure you'll some adventures and sack collection. Good luck everyone.

Hello, you need to be level 23 to be eligible for World Events, if you buy Habitats, you will level up soon and yes hatching your dragons harvesting your crops really give u lot of experience points, u could be lvl 23 in a few of hours :)

I'm planting during the event 20 hour crops on 7 farms. Makes 140 candies per day, times 10 is 1400 candies. Next to that i try to collect several times from the candy sack, which adds up too. And I make sure that the nest is never empty. Personally I have 2 nests, but also one nest only works fine, as long as you continuously breed. If needed I buy a water dragon egg , breed it and sell it instead of placing it.
Oh, and fighting in the arena adds up as well.

Last World Event I was very much a newbie and didn't get the final individual prize and felt I was behind the eight ball the whole way. This time, I've tucked away the Creepy Candles already and am sitting on 586 Cursed Candy. I'm not buying the Halloween Hoard though - I'd rather spend the gold on more habitats to house dragons - I know I'll not have room for it later and it will sit in storage forever after the World Event is over, as pretty as it is.

i sometimes have that problem too. what works for me are following options: force close app and re-open, re-connect to router, restart router, restart phone/tablet.

Anybody having problems getting into storm 8 games??? Keeps saying I'm not connected to the internet on both iPhone & ipad but everything else is working fine....Please help!!!!Problems? Oh yeah. Some games won't even start on my tablet, but weirdly enough they work perfectly fine on my phone. Sometimes it's the other way around. Some games crash regularly (ahem, Dragon Story). And sometimes it says I don't have an internet connection, but I certainly do (exactly like your problem). Usually I have to restart my tablet or just wait for a couple minutes (an hour tops).

Okay, the community just earned the Tree of Treats. Homer Simpson and Ariana Grande would love it as it looks like a donut tree. I wish one of the prizes were a habitat. I don't like using precious space for decorations.

I bought two of the Trail of Terror - I'm busting at the seams without four new dragons plus the new arena one and other Halloween related ones like Spell, Witch et al. I'm thinking of getting a third but I don't really want three, it is just that at half price it is tempting. With two I can house 8 dragons for the usual price to house 4. I still regret not buying two Country Swing when they were on special.

Last night I finally reached 1.000 candies and got my Jack O' Dragon. I haven't been this excited for a dragon in a long time :) He's really cute and doesn't have the typical design (like Mist Dragon, Fairy Dragon and Genie Dragon). I think it might even be one of my new favorites!
