buddy i suggest you use gem to skip this cause later we might get an event which needs lots of golden nuggets....

Yeah it's not consistent but the thing is.... Don't give up. I might chop 5 or 6 Rock outcroppings and get nothing. Then I might chop 2 more and get 3 nuggets. I've gotten 4 or 5 in less than an hour that way. It's easy to get discouraged but they should eventually drop.

35 nuggets atm. And finished all the goals that asked for nuggets, without spending gems. It can be done, it just takes a lot of patience (and a little luck).

Gold nuggets were needed for the gold rings in the 12 days of Christmas. Also the Baron's obelisk. I haven't done the gem trade for quite some time. I just got a nugget from the Troll vault. 10 more and I'm maxed out again.
