Indeed. Looks like the main 'prize' is a permanant, possibly gem-giving (or not??) recipe on the celebration stove.
I see we can buy a second cauldron for 100 gems, too... but if we are limited by how many other recipes we can cook on other appliances, a second cauldron might not be very useful.

It's really neat to use this recipe as the filler instead of letting the stove loitering free. Just wish it wasn't so cream heavy.

It's not the 5 creams, or the low coin yield that I have a problem with...it's that I don't have any free counter!! All the new Halloween dishes take up 6 counters and waiting for them to sell out is like watching grass grow :(

Has anyone done the math? Is it more profitable to cook/sell Halloween dishes? Or should I ditch them and go back to cooking normal dishes that yield 3-4 coins?

I don't think we'll lose it. After Easter, the Mysterious Egg Boiler appliance became a decoration, and I think the same will happen with the cauldron. And those who paid gems for the second cauldron definitely should be able to keep it as a decoration.

I'm pretty sure as soon as you unlock the recipe by completing the quest chain you keep recipe no matter if you master it or not. Other recipes will go away though so you might want to master them before they dissapper (to get poster and mastery stars) :>

I would imagine so since it doesn't have a timer on it like the other event recipes do. And the Beef Wellington stuck around after winning it.

It means bringing the mastery meter for the Tart Tonic up to level 2. You can view your progress for it when the recipe is selected from the list.

For mastering to level 2, you need to cook the Tart Tonic four times.

Not sure I am gonna be able to finish this in 5 hrs due to reload times on gummy worms plus having to get jack o lanterns. I am done except the gummy gulp. I still have half to go. I just placed the cauldron in my restaurant again and started cooking a recipe.

I wouldn't mind if it's the same as last year since Lani also just showed up with a new quest for stamps.

Looks like it's just carrying on from last year, on the "Advanced Potion Making" quest I'm 11/12 and literally just need to cook 1 more gummy gulp to the 3rd star and it's complete (so close last year!)

You get the recipe cards by fulfilling stamp orders on the farm fresh stand. In addition to the special ingredients, you get recipe cards. I've noticed I usually get 5, 10, or 20 at a time but I've also gotten 50, 100, or 200 at a time so they can add up quickly.

I find it weird that they'd re-release these new recipes without any explanation for people who weren't around last year. Or for anyone, really. I also hope there's a new quest involved because all her recipes are mastered for me :( just like how the recipes from the cruise were already mastered from the last wedding cruise for me. If it's the same thing, I'm in for a very boring next fourteen days!

I can't find those new ingredients , or is this is only for people who played last year or for iOS players because I can't see the way to learn for example candy apples ( where to find green apples) and maybe I could buy it with gems . and I will not spend my gems on green apples . If it is only solution I would rather skip this task

Stamps have still been dropping for me every so many cooks. So if you cook a lot every now and then a stamp drops and Lani visits the restaurant every 4 hours and sometimes she leaves a stamp. I am not really scared of running out of stamps since you need the items from using stamps so I convert my stamps but will always keep a few of each product like duck eggs and sugar and butter.
I do think this discussion belongs in one of the Lani threads though.

There's quite a few special items to collect in this quest in various ways to be able to cook the special recipes.
Candy corn: drops from serving water.
Jack-o-Lanterns drop from cooking special temporary recipes such as candy apples etc.
Green apples and peanut butter are bought in the General Store
Gummy Worms are bought in the Butcher shop.
Mina's potion: Mina the witch drops these.

Yeah. Hoarding them doesn't really do much, haha. The ingredients are worth more in the stamps imo because just having stamps and not doing anything with them doesn't get you the recipe cards. But the bright side is, once you learn the new recipes all you need are the eggs/butter/etc, the recipe cards are no longer needed to cook!
Does Lani visit android restaurants as well/do android players can random stamp drops from recipes? I've gotten all kinds of stamps from those things, so it's at least something to ride Android players over until they get the daily quests, right? I'm not sure if those are iOS only features as well though.

Green apples and peanut butter should be in the general store, if they aren't there, try force closing and reopening the game. Gummy worms should be in the butcher shop. Customers drop candy corn when served water, and pumpkins will come randomly from serving food. It's really silly that they re-released these recipes and whatnot without the quest that explains all of it. Makes me wonder if they didn't mean to do it or something, haha.

Haha in such events where you have to fully master several recipes then mastery spice sure is very helpful. I try to keep around 20 mastery spice in stock at all times in case such an event pops up although I'm currently slowly exchanging some of them for expert blends (+2 stars instead of +1 star)

All too often these events also need loads of sugar so you can't always afford to produce mastery spice during the event itself and that's why I keep some in the pantry. Early on in the event I try to work out which of the recipes will be the most difficult to master and that recipe will be the one receiving most of my mastery spice. The difficulty in mastering some recipes over others often has to do with the ingredients it needs and their restock time from the shops. Or possibly the amount of the certain appliance you have.

One more tip. If you're on the very last cook to reach a new mastery level of a dish for example you're on 5/6 for star level 2 and need 1 more cook to get the second star then do NOT use the mastery spice here. The extra star doesn't carry over and it's a waste of a mastery spice.

There are no specific quests for those three recipes until later but you need to be cooking them to get the Jack-O-Lantern ingredient needed to cook the recipes in Mina's Cauldron.

It's still pretty early in October and this event should finish about 2 weeks before Halloween so still a chance we get something else for Halloween as well. I wonder if they repeat the cruise as well with the ghostly stove as a prize as well.

You neednt use the old game version. It works on the latest game version. Did you complete these goals last year? They wont show up if you did.

I mastered all potion several hours ago and I got recepie but I didn't get those extra tasks jurrasic , robot ...it is not important I'm not fun of animated decoration , I'm very satisfied with recepies.. but I don't know why I didn't get that tasks

I found her cauldron in storage and installed it and have found various recipes to create Ithe the new items. The problem is I cannot find a quest list anywhere. I did not complete this last year as I do not have her cupcake recipe. Help would be appreciated.

I am on level 47 so it's not a level issue and I force close my game each night so it's not an issue that can be resolved that way. I want the little automated characters if I can get them. The CM has checked that you did complete the Quest, Advanced Potion-Making!, which was the final quest for Mina last year. I'm not sure why you didn't get the cupcake recipe, can you send an email to support@storm8.com for them to check? Thanks.

CM has kindly checked that you have finished Advanced Potion-Making, which unlocked Mina's Cupcakes. It's shown in your Discovery Table as unlocked, please check again. If you are still having trouble finding your cupcakes, you may want to send an email to support@storm8.com and have an agent help you check further.

More info. Since this is a re-listing of last year's goals, players who will see these old goals are those who did not start the goals last year. Players who already progressed through the goal but did not complete the entire Goal Chain will unfortunately be unable to finish the goal. Sorry... :(
