Apple tree

is there another way to get an apple tree than buying it with gems ?
i need apples (and a gold apple too :rolleyes:) and i want to spare my gems
i found lots of lemon trees in quest, so i was wondering if it is possible to get an apple tree with the same way

I have gotten all three fruit trees through 24 (actually 22) hour quests!

Just not sure which quest gives you what.
