We really need consistency with these battles!! There is no rhyme or reason to anything. It makes no sense. I keep lists of the dragons I battle so I know what works and what doesn't. I just lost a level 10 diamond to a level 1 Hercules. Excuse me?? Diamond has beaten hercules in the past, so why not now??

There is always a chance, even if small, that any dragon can lose in battle.

IGood luck everyone actually glad this is here with tales going on I just finished my three battles and was not happy to see a ****er whale level 18, immediately hit it with ultimate since I knew I would never **** it, but had I known this was coming I wouldn't have bothered. Guess my jigsaw will finish up quick too, which is nice as the best green white I have is bonsai who does very well considering it is only rare.

I guess you could look at at it this way.....especially for lower level players. If one doesn't participate in the tournament, like me, the 14 remaining battles necessary to complete the quest will be against very easy opponents, as they only usually get difficult at level 18 or so.

you can not bypass the tourney since there are battles involved in the tales ;)
but you can use the low rounds to pass the battles acts easier ;)

My level 15 Diamond lost to both Hercules and Pumpkin....... Unfortunately wins aren't guaranteed. Hoping the rest of the tourney improves.

Not crazy about the look of this dragon. Think I will not actively pursue the tournament and just battle when the tales require it. Hopefully it'll be easier (yeah right!) to win the battles against the lower level opponents and finish the tales. Last time I missed out because I got stuck battling a level 18 with just a few hours to go and I refused to pay gold.

Now a days , all such funny things r happening ! Before this tournament , My Guardian Angel Lvl 15 won almost all battles in single or at the most 2 try against lvl 12 to lvl14 Opponents . But the same GA , lost against Hercules Lvl 1 badly !! How do u explain this ? We have to just accept it

Do I have a plan about both tales and tournament ? No I don't ...... Just going with what happens as I play both , just beaten smoke, RS L14 has won all except pumpkin < lightning and finished chapter 5 ...... Not going to hassle just take it as it comes .... I hope :)

Like some others I've just worked out the impossibility of finishing both without spending gold and I am L150 etc , I did start the tales a day late so not as bad as some but I refuse to spend gold..... Sorry TL you worked this well to catch us but I have to choose one or the other , so will get the harvest dragon reward at the end of chapter 7 and opt out of the tales and try for the tournament earthquake dragon due to life's necessitories

Going to be some decision making for all other players ...... Hope this helps some of the newer players to see what lies ahead ....... :)

I'm in the same situation, started DT event one day later and hoping to finish this tournament and the event. I won 9 rounds so far, one more round left and I will finish the day 5. I am afraid I might have difficulties winning 4 battles on day 7, but at least on day 10 the tournament will be over. I hope we can do it. Good luck!

I'm sorry it happened to you. I already had this a few times too, so if the game is not freshly loaded, I visit a neighbour before a battle, then I collect some money from the habitats, and then visit a neighbour again. This way the game is saved, and since I do this, I did not have to fight again. Also do not do things that make the game crash, like mining and sending dragon to a quest before and after the battle, and if you did, then it's better to reload the game. It works for me, and I hope it will be helpful for you too.

Ugh, sucks doesn't it? I've been using (and losing) Angelfire 14 and Angel 15 among a million others. I'm thinking that I'm just going to have to Ultimate Rainbow Sentinel and probably Battlesteed. Tomorrow morning I have to win 3 battle matches as part of the Harvest event so I may as well bite the bullet and finish the tourney tonight.

Hello Amerish, I'm not there yet but you could try Atlantis (It's definitely out of the box). Sometimes it's the simplest and youngest ones that beat them. I did see somewhere else, someone had used black Knight but I'm not sure if you have that. Good luck and i hope you don't have to use ultimate.

Does anyone have any 'out of the box' ideas for Rainbow Sentinel 19? I'm losing with the only dragons I have over a 10% chance with according to the calculator :(

I used Diamond Level 14 against it. Took a couple of tries. RS also took out my Level 14 Warrior Princess too.

Hey everyone, thanks so much for all of your advice on Rainbow Sentinel. I got so sick of him that I used Ultimate. Then I ran into Loch Ness and have continued my losing streak :( So bummed because I need three battle matches for the Harvest event. Oh yes, Chrome dragon was my worst opponent when I had to fight with it for crafting parts. I lost 7 battles then. I was afraid I will have difficulties with Chrome in this tournament too, but I just used my previous winner, Guardian Angel, and it won again.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but am I correct in thinking that a level 12 Super rare Champion and level 12 Rare Champion are equivalent in battle status? I say this because they are both unbreedable, so therefore they both rank the same, in between Rare and Super rare strength, correct?

If you believe the Wiki calculator, yes, a Rare and Super Rare Champion are essentially equivalent in strength. They are almost always rated stronger than a Super Rare non-Champion at the same level. However, there are times against some non-Diamond opponents when they are not your number one choice. Champions don't quite follow the battle rules.

Geez I have had an easy least time until now and seem to be stuck on Loch Ness. I've tried cotton candy, Flametail, a level 12 champ, and Aries not sure where to go next. My pink choices are limited as I dint have Quartz or unicorn and most are combined with purple, watermelon being the exception. I do have cherry blossom but can't see that as being of any use.

For those who is still unsuccesfull with battlesteed, To my suprise my lv 6 crusader knock it down (also knock RS) after lv 15 diamond, epic viking and landworm defeated badly - embarrasingly twice for Diamond. :rolleyes:

@busybee222, this also happened to EnchatedG on page 13 of this thread. @rasike gave her some helpful advice. I know it gets frustrating but when we deal with electronic devices, we must expect the unexpected. Good luck, and I hope the rest of the tournament goes smoothly.

Keeping fingers crossed that the game registers the win, hv put the egg on the nest too. Also followed @rasike's advice after every battle, like visiting Neighbour.

I'm sorry it happened to you. I already had this a few times too, so if the game is not freshly loaded, I visit a neighbour before a battle, then I collect some money from the habitats, and then visit a neighbour again. This way the game is saved, and since I do this, I did not have to fight again. Also do not do things that make the game crash, like mining and sending dragon to a quest before and after the battle, and if you did, then it's better to reload the game. It works for me, and I hope it will be helpful for you too.

Amerirsh, I would look for the Rainbow Sentinel thread if it's still in the forum, there should be some winners against RS level 20. Rainbow Sentinel was the first Champion I got and unfortunately I did not write my winning dragons during this time, so I can not really help.

Thank you for your help and advice, I followed your suggestions and after that the game did not trouble me. Just finished the torney, but not celebrating yet, will do after an hour when it is confirmed that the game has registered my win :)

For those of you working hard on rainbow sentinel I tried Helios who is not yet epic and he came close. Next round my diamond got crushed so I tried Helios again after healing and bM was like magic. I had thought it might work since Rainbow is week to Mythic.

After an extremely difficult time with Battlestead during Chapter 9 of Tales, I finally got it using Light mbm! Whew! Thought that was going to mess my whole Tales up!

now I am stuck with Astromancer all day. Have lost Diamond L15 x 2, Crusader both L12 and L10, Landworm L10 and L1, Fire L10 and L1, Warrior Princess L15. I am exhausted..... I don't have Halio so I am going to try Mythic next time. Any other suggestions? thank you guys.

I used Crusader and he went down first try Mb, I would just try it again.
