Honestly, if they did decide to "change the rules" of when releases are announced/previewed it would not surprise me that they would not let their customers know about the change, but instead let them figure it out on their own without comment or confirmation by S8. On the other hand, maybe what they are cooking up is so epic and cool that it's taking longer to complete/get approval to release so many LTO's at one time that they need more time than usual for a final OK before they post!!!!!

It wouldn't be the first time. The previews have not always been consistent in their games. There have been many times where they stopped showing previews for a good while then they come back and then they take them away again.

Some of your really need to get off of your high horses. The point of the thread is to discuss the new update even if it hasn't been shown yet. Everyone is entitled to their own comments and opinions, but if it bothers you that much and you're going to be negative toward other people why are you even on this thread? So you're able to drive a vehicle at 16, decide which politician can run your country at 18 but you're not allowed to drink alcohol for another 3 years after that? The mind boggles. Driving is arguably the most dangerous activity out of those 3.

I don't recall the place of the prizes, but I received the fall planter, fall bicycles, fall cake, and the fall pies table. I quite like this crate, but I do wish they would get more creative with their display shops.

As someone else mentioned, all of these boxes seem have the same prizes. They don't really have any of the unique stuff that's in the older boxes. Though I can't complain I don't buy boxes. At least we now know for sure we're going to get more fall stuff. I just need a guarantee Halloween stuff won't come at the end of the month.

then maybe we'd see something new. i'm actually missing the pirates.

Ugh, what is wrong with me?!I havent opened a box since last whenever but saw this one, thought hey lets see if I can get one decent thing for my fall bakery and gave it a shot. I blame my daughter because I was talking to her as I did this, so her cuteness overload made me think good thoughts while messing about my bakery.

Well one turned into two, which turned into three and four times trying. And just like that 106 Id been working hard to save is gone. This game is he devil. There better not be anything super awesome for halloween, black friday or xmas. Curse my fingers!

The prizes arent horrible, because even the 3rd and 4th place ones arent super small cringe worthy like they usually are. But why....especially since, as someone mentioned, there are no fountains, no amazing displays. Just the same 4x4 displays, like we got last fall and for this goal. It gets repetitive and boring real quick.

I'm a sucker for crates it seems. After swearing off this one, I succumbed and got 2 x 3rd place prizes, and 1 x 2nd place. I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

This is how I was too. I opened every box looking for suitable prizes. I swore off of them after wasting more gems than I care to admit on the old xmas box that was on sale again. If id just waited I could have used them when they had that huge valentines sale. I saved for weeks after using gems for my last expansion. Now I need to start all over again! I did the same on RS. Used my gems to do more expansions. All my free google money too. I need some more useless questions from them.

I also need those 7 or 8 versions of games still waiting to give gold download goals to hurry! Im running out of appliances and gems to make.

I live vicariously through this neighbor who still spends hundreds, if not a cool thousand every month on them. Right now, he has about 5 first place displays from the sapphire box. He literally doesnt stop until he has multiples of the main items.

Actually, you're allowed to drink in most countries but not in public. Of course, even though you can drink, you still need to be at least 18, I think, to purchase alcohol. But the store at my place is not that ***g-ho on asking for your ID. So, drink away people as long as you do it the privacy of your home a.k.a. indoor.

Under Social/Neighbourhood tab, click the gift button next to your neighbour. You can select the gift to send. This method allows you to pick the gift instead of the default.

Because I've already installed and played this game before so I didn't get my gems but if I reach level 12 then I will get 3 gems. I don't play this game so I'm not bothered about the 3 gems

yes i don't either but last week i got the pop up for dragon story and still got the 6 gems followed by the prompt to get to level 12 i believe so not sure why we wouldnt get the 6 gems just to install

and you never played before? install goals only come on game versions you haven't already installed & played enough to get through all the "reach level xx" goals. since dragon was a new version, probably a lot of droid players got that goal. FS2 isn't a new version and a lot of longtime players installed it the first time they saw the goal to do so. months ago.

This is the 1st friday I haven't received a gem prompt, I wonder if they're removing the gem goals. Even if it's a game I already played sending a prompt to those who haven't played that one yet, I would still get one for some random edition, my gem goals (games) are always not the same as other players.

so weird! and you reached lvl 15 in the basic FS2? i know there was some birthday edition, so at least one other version, maybe more. if you only ever played in other versions on one of your accounts, but also played in the basic version in your other account, i can see where you'd get the goal in one and not the other. otherwise, i am at a loss for an explanation. (i'll pretend i work for an IT dept. and call it user error.)

i miss LTOs too. my first thought was that we still have the big fall sale going on, so i can see why there weren't any other items given out today, but then i thought that the updates have been so boring lately with box after box after box that they should be giving us extra stuff every friday.

I dont think id enjoy halloween stuff. Im coin poor right now. Trying to master stuff and pulling out old ovens and buying more, is making me broke. I may try to make an extra effort if the monster kitchen was made available. Ive nowhere to put it right now, but id buy it for at least three of my bakeries. I just hope they dont offer something two weeks before halloween.

At least let us enjoy whatever is offered. They also lowered my hopes for great content on fashion.

That is DS Halloween on iOS, not Harvest Moon. Harvest Moon was the Android version that came out a few weeks ago. Just clearing it up. :)
