This is a collection event. Time to send out those deliveries and set your alarm clock. Your farm needs to be level 18 and above to participate.

You need to buy Piper's Castle and collect knights' crests from it every 3 hours.
Piper's Castle can be upgraded using upgrade parts from making plane deliveries. Upon each upgrade, it gives more knights' crests. You should upgrade Piper's Castle as quick as possible to maximise the knights' crests from each collection.

Individual Prizes:
First Prize: Sword in the Stone : 50 knights' crests
Second Prize: Piper's Armor : 300 knights' crests
Third Prize: Piper's Dragon : 1000 knights' crests
Fourth Prize: Castle tower : 2000 knights' crests
Fifth Prize: Knight's Pony : 4000 knights' crests

You can collect knights' crests from your castle at every 3 hours interval by clicking on your castle. The crests do not accumulate, they stay at the castle until you collect them. E.g. If you collect in 6 hours, you only get 4 crests, not 8 crests. Once collected, the timer counts down for 3 hours.

You have 18 days to collect crests in order to win the prize horse. The number of crests needed increases for each individual prize. So upgrade your castle as fast and as many stages as you can.

Side note: be careful when you click on your castle to avoid speeding up collection time and wasting gems.

Community Prizes: (unlocks at 500 - meaning once you have collected 500 knights' crests, you are eligible for community prizes.)
First Prize: Medieval Silo skin : 30,000,000 knights' crests
Second Prize: Medieval Barn skin : 150,000,000 knights' crests
Third Prize: Medieval Farmhouse skin : 400,000,000 knights' crests
Prizes are found in your cellar upon collecting enough required knights' crests.

This screen shows that you can collect 4 crests at every 3 hours interval from your Castle. The arrow points to 15 crests means you can collect 15 crests if you upgrade your castle to the next stage. To know what stage your castle is at, click on your castle, a caption will appear on the bottom right of your screen.

These upgrade parts are random drops from deliveries. You can also check Stormie shop daily and see if she sells you an upgrade part.

Stages of upgrade
There are altogether 5 stages. Collection interval is 3 hrs for all stages.
Stage 1 gives 4 knights' crests
To upgrade to Stage 2 requires 2 of each upgrade part - gives 15 knights' crests.
To upgrade to Stage 3 requires 3 of each upgrade part - gives 35 knights' crests.
To upgrade to Stage 4 requires 4 of each upgrade part - gives 60 knights' crests.
To upgrade to Stage 5 requires 5 of each upgrade part - gives 100 knights' crests
(14 of each upgrade part for full upgrade)

Your castle changes its appearance as you upgrade it. This is how it looks at Stage 5 (courtesy of and permission by my neighbour).

You do not need upgrade parts once your castle is fully upgraded. Keep arrows if you want to do target training, else sell off. Sell off your excess parts to help others.

Once your castle is fully upgraded, you just need to collect crests. Farm life is back to normal, nothing else you need to build for this event.

All training targets are only good for 2 shots. After which they disappear. You need to buy another if you need more shots.

Training target: Each shoot gives a random prize - coin, upgrade part or knights' crests.
Archery target: Each shoot gives a random prize - coin, upgrade part, knights' crests or exclusive prizes (e.g. alphaca banner, cow banner, chicken banner, pig banner, sheep banner. See pic below.).
You get arrows from delivery.

Heads Up!
New event in two days!
This Thursday September 24th at 5:30 pm eastern daylight savings time!

You need to start preparing now!

*Hoard as much as you can in your barn so you can send planes quickly if we need to get event items from plane deliveries to build some item.

*Have all your machines working non stop but make sure they are done working when the event starts in case you have to make a special event item! I would hate to have say five lemon tarts(two hours to make one) in my bakery machine at the start of the event and suddenly have to wait ten hours!

*Have all animals like cows and sheep ready to collect at event time.

*Same advice for fruit trees and crops.

* On the morning of the event tomorrow do NOT gift your neighbours.
On an event over a year ago the first task was to gift three neighbours and guess what most of us had gifted our neighbours many hours earlier and could not start the event until the next morning or use gems to skip!

First step, buy the castle. Second step, buy the archery target (the one for coins...the one for gems isn't technically needed, but your choice to get that one as well. It gets you a better chance to win stuff). Then, send out delivery after delivery after delivery ad nauseum. From deliveries you may get upgrade parts, and/or you may get arrows. With the upgrade parts, upgrade your castle. Every three hours you can collect shields from it (much like collecting from the beehive or pets). With the arrows, shoot at your archery targets. You will get a random(?) number of shields. Collect all the shields you can.

If you click on the upper right of the screen where the countdown is, you will see two chains of prizes. You have to collect x number of shields to win each individual prize (the top chain). Once you collect 500 shields, you are eligible to win the community prizes (the bottom chain). The community prizes are won by all of us collecting as many shields as we can.

Not sure what box you are asking about. The only thing that changes when you update is the number of crests that you will collect from the castle every 3 hours. The number of crests that you collect will give prizes to be found in storage cellar at different amounts which are displayed on graphic.

Is this perhaps what you are referring to?

And you need the box-like things which are the third graphic? I think those are supposed to be stones. Anyhow, if that's what you mean, those are upgrade parts, and you get those through making deliveries. Once you collect enough of those, you can upgrade your castle to the next level.

The timer is for the next time that the castle will give you shields. It gives out shields every 3 hours. If you upgrade, you will get more shields every 3 hours. As others have already noted, do NOT upgrade until you get shields and the timer resets back to 3 hours!

Stop buying these things with gems and send out deliveries!

When the castle is ready to be collected from a crest appears on top of castle, just tap it and you will have collected it.

I'll keep updating post 1 whenever I have more info. So far, it's complete except for the exact number of crests needed for prizes. We'll know more as the prizes get unlock. If I miss out anything, plmk.

Just to confirm, your level 15 farm has event shown now?

Nope. Delivery drops randomly. It does not garantee drop for each sent delivery.

World event with community effort and the best that can be done is building paint colors for those community prizes?! Maybe I'm alone in this, but to me that's extremely lame and I doubt I'll bother much. Previously it was at least consolation if you couldn't make the very hard end rewards. But now, not even one new item reward for the community effort! I'm hugely disappointed and after two years now, starting to lose interest in this game. 😔 Where has the imagination gone? Still hoping this gets better, but it's not looking too good.

Yes it was only 5 levels and previous events had 15. Way easier and number of parts needed was significantly less

If you had participated in fs2 events as you said, you would notice there were always such offers in Collection type event. Be it pine trees for chopping, lanterns to lit or targets this time, they were all used for once or twice only and purchased with gems and coins. The gem ones were always optional goals. There are different types of events, next time just pick those that suit you.

It's not advisable for you to keep multiple versions of game for this exact reason. Force close both apps and start the latest app, see if your crests are in order. If not, write in to support so the agent can help. In the mean time, delete all versions of fs2 with only one remaining. Use this remaining latest version to continue your collections.

Ps it's lucky you lose crests so early in the event. Imagine losing 3900 crests when you are so close to the prize horse! Or gems.

Last such event required 227 (227 * 3 = 681) of each upgrade part while this requires 14 of each upgrade part (14 * 3 = 42). The difference between 681 parts vs 42 parts alone is staggering. Players are able to upgrade to max Castle at the beginning of this event while players were struggling even towards the end of last event. And some players couldn't even upgrade to max at all after the event was over.

681 parts depended mainly on delivery drop rate. Imagine the number of deliveries one had to make. Many of my neighbours levelled up in a single event lol. I'm glad you got yours all done. Have fun. :)

One of the staff gave a head-up and posted a image of the exclusive prizes that you can won from the gems lantern. But sadly, not this time round I guess. :( What about the jester gnome from the value pack? Does it do anything special?

I too was able to finish my castle today! I would like to thank my neighbors for helping me out! Thank you Huckleberry and Wolfe Hollow (sorry, don't know user names). Also thanks to Apple Valley for saving some castle stones for me. Sorry we never managed to hook up online!

I have a few flags and logs left over. I will be putting them up for sale in about 30 minutes from this post (so on sale at 2PM CST). Stop by my farm then if you need something, or post on my wall during this event. I will try to help everyone I can!

I would sell them and make the room in your barn. The last event that was similar to this we didn't need the parts after we built what we needed to. And this way you'll be helping someone else out!

You do not need upgrade parts once your castle is fully upgraded. Keep arrows if you want to do target training, else sell off. Sell off your excess parts to help others.

Once your castle is fully upgraded, you just need to collect crests. Farm life is back to normal, nothing else you need to build for this event.

the one you've always been with, that's the relationship you're in. and in any kind of relationship, there is always ups and downs, it's how you manage you relationship with this game. lol lol lol (trying to be wise but failed) me too sometimes gets bored because it becomes a routine, like this morning, i woke up and checked on my progress, and it's everyday. i suggest you to take a break, try another game, which is different than FS2, after a few shots you will miss us here, hahaha.... for me, before i get my show pony to fill in my show pony table, i can't die. hahaha... :mad: :(

Happy to share. The fun part of the banners is when you zoom all the way in and see the stitching around the edge of the animal shapes where they are sewn onto the banners. Always love the little details. ;)

Yeah, I agree. I lost interest a while back.
Once on level 60, I just played the game to do my train for the 5 gems and events (of course).
Now I just come back to do events (if I feel like it), but the events are 'same old'..'same old' and the train just doesn't leave the station 'most' times....

Agreed, this is a very fair event. It's nice to hear players like you, missed a few days but yet able to catch up and get the grand prize. :)

Yes that's the only way. The training targets do not give banners, only the archery targets do - randomly but no garantee.

I've had the pony for two days and I don't know if this is a glitch but I have to put the horse into storage then place it back on the farm to feed it - every single time. I can't just feed it like my pigs and alpacas. Please advise.

Is there a bucket for you to swipe over it when it's hungry? Can you feed your other pets the normal way?

I finished this event yesterday evening. I wish all of them were like this. Uncomplicated. Let it be about the time we can dedicate to collecting. Not about chasing an impossible amount of parts to upgrade something 18 times.

I now need to build my money up again because me thinks the halloween and xmas events WILL be doozies like Ive just described.

Does anyone know what the bell icon is? It appears along the bottom when you click on your pony to feed him. There is a feed bag, a dark horse, a bell and an animal carrier. I know what everything but the bell does.

The bell is used to call pets back to their "shelters" from wherever they are on your farm, if you want to call them back before their regular collection time. Otherwise, they will return on their own and wait for you to swipe the bucket over them.

I didn't mind the partridges so much. I really wish that FS2 would find ways of incorporating certain things from prior events back into the main game. Partridge, being a relative of the pheasant, could have been used for a new item in the kitchen, like Roast Pheasant (since we don't have turkeys). And I still want my flowers back!
