Battle cost

When and how frequently the battle cost are raised?? Does anybody know? I started playing in Feb 15 and when I reached level 30 it used to cost 2500 coins. Then it was subsequently raised to 3000, then 3500 and now it costs 4000 coins. Is the cost going to keep rising like this forever? Or is this happening to me only? Will it sometime in future cost 10000 coins and more?

It costs me 5 k and I'm level 108

It costs me 2500, but I thought I noticed in the last tournament I paid 5000 in the final few rounds. I just assumed the later rounds were more expensive and have been waiting to hit the round where it increases in the current tournament. Didn't realise it might also be related to player level.

I think it increases 500 coins every 10 levels up to 5000 max
