Warrior Prince Dragon Tournament Release Date: 9/4/15

The first 14 rounds went so smoothly for me but now i've been stuck on Warrior King for half a day! Any advice for someone who doesn't have any champions, or a very strong fleet? He destroyed my Diamond....twice!

Tons of good info on WK in the thread. As one suggestion, many have won with Ivory if you have it. :) Good luck!

Any suggestions on how to beat it? Maybe a level 10 purple and yellow? (such as genie or any other dragon that type....

Dang! I don't have any warriors! I've never even won a tournament :-(

I have not won a tournament either. I just can't figure out what works. The suggestions here are great but I do not have champions or dragons mentioned. I do look at dragons used and try to pick a dragon with similar components. I have been playing for a few years but no diamonds. Then there is the quirkiness of a Level 1 common dragon beating a level 10 dragon that has won for many others.

I think someone else won with chandelier (another yellow/white). It's the new arena/craft dragon though, so you may not have it yet. :-/ I do hope you can find one to beat it!

Sometimes you have to 'recycle' dragons as they heal (ask me how I know lol). Once your cupcake has healed, try it again.

Holy science! Having a lvl 15 champ, and a lvl 15 diamond hybrid makes all the difference in this tournament. I just passed #24 and I've only lost once. That'll probably change as I hit the lvl 20s, but, wow. I winced at the food cost on raising 2 to lvl 15, but it's worth it! Now I just need to save up enough food to do Rainbow Sentinel and Lollipop.

Easy to win battles in Fantasy Forest (now Animal Story) as Water beats Fire etc. but this is very complicated. A few years ago, I was ready to drop this game after so many fails at breeding and then the battle craziness. I kept going as I had a few friends I sent gold to daily or filled map requests etc.

I don't have a lot of the dragons others have. I have had success in tournaments with the magic dragon and atlantis dragon. My level 10 air, water, and fire dragons win many battles too. I also find that lower level dragons, even common or rare ones, are useful in tournaments.

I have one champion dragon that i won a few tournaments ago and it never wins anything. lol

Try any other Purple, Yellow rare/super rares u have on ur island or consider to retry ur Music after healing. You can also try Frostfire or Flametail, previous tournament boss, sometimes it worked. Good luck. :)

Try to download the original Dragon Story version 2.2.2.1g (not Country Picnic, Pool Party or others) or upgrade the original version if you have it, and you will get the Noble Crystal, new expansions and the new Dragon Tales Event. I am playing on android too, and I got all these features with the original version. Good luck!

The first 14 rounds went so smoothly for me but now i've been stuck on Warrior King for half a day! Any advice for someone who doesn't have any champions, or a very strong fleet? He destroyed my Diamond....twice!

Newbie question here.

So let's just assume for a moment I am lucky enough to get through to the end and acquire the Warrior Prince. He needs a habitat which is 500 Gold and holds 4 dragons. But it would seem as a new player, I can't get the Princess, Queen and King to have a matching set, so I am wondering what use is this dragon to me? Given my personality type, I'd ultimately want to full "set", not some loan Prince sitting on a habitat he can't share with anyone! Well, I suppose he can share with Battlecaster or some other Champions, but will I ultimately ever get the rest of the Warrior set?

And DarkSteel is giving me grief. :(

So let's just assume for a moment I am lucky enough to get through to the end and acquire the Warrior Prince. He needs a habitat which is 500 Gold and holds 4 dragons. But it would seem as a new player, I can't get the Princess, Queen and King to have a matching set, so I am wondering what use is this dragon to me? Given my personality type, I'd ultimately want to full "set", not some loan Prince sitting on a habitat he can't share with anyone! Well, I suppose he can share with Battlecaster or some other Champions, but will I ultimately ever get the rest of the Warrior set?

And DarkSteel is giving me grief. :(

I would take it one step at a time. Win the tournament first. Buy the basic 3 dragon ruins. And let him share with another Champion. After all he's only a Prince, it's not likely that he'll become the King of England some day, that would go to his older sister according to the new laws. Warrior King was offered recently in a value pack. It's possible the others may get reoffered. Or possibly they may show up on a spin the wheel.

I'm not exactly sure I understand this but I'm gonna try and help you. Are you saying you feel you need the entire set and all in one habitat? I won't be doing that but even if I did they could easily add more to the "set"
I've seen people saying baby warrior or jester. Who knows what they might add.
Many many people won't have all of the matching dragons. Sometimes the value packs will sell champs. I've missed a few world event dragons that I've been able to purchase after the fact. Basically any champs are going to help you win tournaments. I've got so many now I try to challenge myself not to use them to win so my results can help more people who don't have them. Hope this makes sense.

This is a game , hence I feel , you need not think reg. Warrior Prince so sentimentally ! Warrior family was introduced Earliar but u missed them - So what ? Why should you miss this Dragon -Prince ? Also if u can afford , buy Habitat costing 500 Gold but otherwise habitat with 750000 coins should be OK - but perhaps at your Lv there could be shortage of coins which is obvious ! So you can keep in storage till u can buy habitat ! Also , who knows , other dragons may be offered in Value Pack or Spin Wheel in future , then again you will wonder why I didn't win Prince when it was possible !! Anyways , decision is yours ! No kidding! I had 12 losses today and 3 yesterday using all the same dragons everyone else is. Right now I just want to get past it before the battle requirement for chapter 4.

Oddly enough Warrior Queen is the only one of the Warrior family I managed to win the tourney for and now I can't beat it!

About 20 losses to Warrior King. Have tried everything possible suggested here to no avail... Not going to ultimate even if I never get past it and won't be able to continue the Tales. So be it then!

Android players have it too.
You need to have the original Dragon story version installed and NOT the picnic version or any other seasonal version.
After you install it go to market then buildings where you will find the Noble Crystal. It costs 500,000 coins (I am on level 150 and that's peanuts for me.... It wouldn't be for new players though!).
You will find that you can feed your already epic dragons, you have the option to feed your fire dragon (for example) till level 15 but you can't evolve it anymore. I personally don't understand the benefit of this new feature in the game, since I see too many people complaining about the food requirements, too high. the worst part is that it makes no difference in the arena. Why would you feed a dragon past level 10 if it makes no difference. My level 3 Ivory defeated 2 champions in the current tournament and my neighbour has it in epic form and it was defeated... Please correct me if I'm wrong!
You will also find that you get new dragons that you previously didn't have (the prime dragons).

Thank you, but most of them are Diamond dragons which I don't have. On the bright side, I just beat him with Social 7 that was suppose to be a filler to ease up the spa line, and it was a one-hit win XD

Oh I know that Hun! Flametail has been my savior in last tourney and the one before that i think lol. But you know that with warrior as opponent you can't bet on anything. Be it a warrior or common baby. So thats why. Like Warrior king kicked my Flametail in the butt so that's y. Yes do save ur results coz it always help others and you too in next battles and tournaments. I always consult my previous tournaments and what worked for me previously before fighting any known opponent. Its very helpful. All the best for ur remaining rounds.

Yes, but Diamond is only level 6 and already defeated by Crusader. I tried Epic Air and Epic Forest. The Water dragon is just a baby.....

Yep. Lost to Divine twice now. Was waiting for the "can't get past it" headache to start.

I'm stuck on her too. Beat her the last time I met her in the arena with epic GA. Not this time. She sent him to the spa with his tail between his legs. Lost Gatekeeper and Landworm last night at which time I went to bed. Not sure which dragon to start with this morning. Of course, I'm not quite awake yet and fuzzy brain is not good for the arena.

Every rounds went so smoothly until I hit Crusader. Any suggestion everyone?

I saw many passed him easily with Diamond-type dragon but I don't have any Diamonds (or a Lighthouse), and my best chance dragon Seabreeze is already down twice :(

Try dragons with yellow and/or blue. Before I had any "uber" dragons (diamonds, champions, etc) I used those to beat him. My baby Mist beat him several times.

Thanks! I know, I kept circulating my dragons with white and yellow over and over again. The King beat my two Griffins, Chandelier, Leopard and Sunrise to a pulp all day and then I realized Lovers Tree also has white and yellow and wham - the King was gone! :)

Maybe try some Dragon that is can win Warrior Queen, Warrior King, Warrior Princess...Because the design of color is similar. (Just my opinion.)

This sounds like an excellent idea/suggestion! I finally beat Warrior Queen because amalsaba mentioned they were able to take down the WQ & WK with ivory (white/yellow). I plan on trying ivory again for Warrior Prince. :)

I'm having some trouble with Ancestor 18 (round 26). My Rainbow Sentinel 11, Lollipop 10 and Divine 10 lost. Any ideas how to defeat this bearded beast?

In my opinion the dragon level up is not different from level low, when battle the color is important than level of that dragon, example..my Crusader Dragon even level 15 but lost more than when level 10. Sometimes use baby dragon or just single color is can easy to win too. So no need to worry about level or just must use that dragon only ... can use others dragon that have same color to fight too.

I am at warrior prince and chapter 4 act 2 as well. I lost diamond,infinity, ivory, firestorm and flametail so far. I guess i gotta beat this guy to move on to chapter 5. Bad timing really...

If the post listing the steps in the first page of current new tales thread is correct, it seems that chapter five is not too demanding. If you raise Splatter to l7 and plant pumpwings in advance it should hardly take any time to complete, so overrunning on chapter 4 should be alright.

That sucks! So sorry to hear. Have you tried Ivory yet? I ended up getting lucky beating Warrior Queen with that one, but not so lucky using it against Warrior Princess.

I beat it with Shaman about 40min ago. Hope that's help :D

I tried Ivory an hour ago. :( My Diamond has lost 6 times, Infinity 3 times, and also Rainbow Sentinel, Fire, Metal, Bronzetalon (who is 13/15 in this tourney), Crusader, Avatar, Pixie, Landworm, and Flametail.

I have never had an issue with Helios by using Fire. Before bed last night I had to fight him and just used Fire again and 1 shot of magic and down he went again. Hope it helps you as well.

I have never had an issue with Helios by using Fire. Before bed last night I had to fight him and just used Fire again and 1 shot of magic and down he went again. Hope it helps you as well.

Fire is one of my losses to Helios, and a dragon I've won with against him before (at the same level too). Thanks though. I might try Fire again after he heals.

Maybe try using the dragon(s) you won with against Warrior King, Queen and Princess - if you haven't already tried them of course.

Based on past tournaments involving Dino drgaons I would use an epic or high level Forest or Winter dragon to take Rex out.

In my opinion the dragon level up is not different from level low, when battle the color is important than level of that dragon, example..my Crusader Dragon even level 15 but lost more than when level 10. Sometimes use baby dragon or just single color is can easy to win too. So no need to worry about level or just must use that dragon only ... can use others dragon that have same color to fight too.

You must have Noble Crystal on your island.
Go to buy at Market...Buildings...Noble Crystal (the price is 500,000 coins).

"Place the Noble Crystal on your island and your Dragon can be raised to level 15."

I accident read on information of this building, so I just know now.
Because I'm andrioid player, so think only IOS can do that. But for now everyone can do that.

Just place on land, no need to waiting for building.
If your Dragon epic already...just feed them...no need to evolve anymore...but too many food to feed!!!!!!

Try Planet (purple+red) Dragon, Titan Dragon (last time I win by this after lost 14 times), Light Dragon (I ever win by this before), Moonlight Dragon, Sparkler Dragon, Dark Phoenix Dragon, White Chocolate Dragon, Gilded Knight Dragon (recently just win on my game), Goodwitch Dragon or just use Air Dragon (also strong).

I beat him with White Rose 9 (white/green) - if you have one, try that or give something with Green a try :)

If you have a high level green dragon like Forest (with magic, magic combo) I would use that instead of anything red, white or yellow. If that doesn't work, use the Magic Dragon.

Try any green-white dragon for higher chance of winning. Suggestion for u: Light, Forest, Malachite (this time I won with this), Lorekeeper, Fuzzy, Pegasus, Angel or Quetzal (if u have Diamond and hybrids), and Brightsteel (I have won twice before in regular arena using Brightsteel against Darksteel). Good luck, Natasha. :)
*Worst case if all lost, throw Champion.

Yes against Champion Breeds, different Dragons work well in different account I noticed.

My account 1 (higher level) used Leopard 1 to defeat 3 of the dragons.
My account 2 I used lvl 7 Football German, and another Champion Breed
My account 3, I used a Wild #1, Musketeer ( whichever one comes near can be used again)
