Prime dragons - confused

I'm totally confused about how to get the prime dragons. I have a L15 Fire and L15 Forest - can I get a Prime dragon from this combination or if it is another combination do both dragons have to be at L15?

Both dragons do have to be at level 15 but I have tried to breed a number of the existing combos after expanded all of my single color dragons to level 15 and I have had zero success ....;-(. At least 40-50 fails.

I've got nowhere either. But maybe I need to get a light dragon to 15 to be able to breed Prime Power

You won't get a prime dragon with you combination lv 15 forest and fire. You need to breed you lv15 forest with lv 15 air for the prime life dragon and your lv 15 fire with lv 15 light for the prime power dragon

I have half of the Prime Dragons.

1st - Prime Life - Forest lvl 15 + Air lvl 15 - after a bunch of tries
2nd - Prime Loyal - Light lvl 15 + Water lvl 15 - on my 1st try
3rd - Prime Power (Light lvl 15 + Fire lvl 15 - after a bunch of tries

Tried a thousand of times for Prime Energy with Water lvl 15 and Air lvl 15, and I still don't have it, it's just luck..

I just have to ask . . . How do you get enough food to expand them all to lvl 15. It rakes forever to grow it, even with 7 farms.

Just keep saving, you'll get enough food... eventually

I've only got 2, Prime Life and Prime Energy. Took more than 50 Fruitfuls before Prime Life appeared but got Prime Energy on the second try. Now growing more food for my next level 15. Used the last cache of food for the Splatter, Comic and Nouveau dragons event.

Would someone please explain the benefit of Prime dragons? Why are they useful, or special? Other than needing

Been watching the Prime dragons in the battle arena calculator list and they don't seem to be that special in battles. I don't have any prime ones yet but I am trying. Have a level 15 Fire and level 15 Melody. I raised the Melody to 15 because that gives both white and pink at level 15 and the food didn't cost as much as raising a white to 15 and a pink to 15.
