Fastest way to build Faerie Workshop?

Are there any ways to get the supplies needed to build the faerie workshop (faerie beams, blocks and paste) besides going to the Plume Hive? Will trading with the faeries in the Exchange work too? Anyone have any tricks?

Adventure & Exchange is the only way for the first workshop. I used a mixture of both to reach that goal.

For the amount of time and resources for the Exchange, I only did that the once when the goal told me to. All other supplies I got from endless adventuring which was easier for me. It's a slow road, but it happens in time. Good Luck!
