I don't see one yet, so I guess I'll start one. Hoping for a regular update with some nice decor! Maybe a re-released item or an out-of-box item for gems, since I never get the for-cash offers!

as for the update, not my thing, but i believe i've seen ren fest suggestions before, so someone should be happy! i think the floor's okay, i like patterned floors. be interesting to see if the oven, assuming it's for gems, will earn 12 gems.

I wonder if new recipes for the regular ovens are done. We haven't gotten a new recipe in along time and lately it's just a new oven. Even if this oven is for coins I don't have enough room for it right now. I'll buy a few and save them for when I'm done mastering some other ovens. Cute update though.

I actually like this update much more than I thought I would :) the stuff looks better in the game than in the picture, in my opinion. And not too gem-heavy, the big display is for 22gems and the smaller one for 16gems. Everything else is for coins! :)

Exactly! If it's full of nothing but low yield recipes, I'm not in a hurry to get the appliance. I still have several of the "update" appliances that were low yield that I've done nothing with because of that - which is the same reason I've not used many, if any, of the RS goal appliances after the goal is over - in RS they are all invariably low yield recipes - which is the opposite of BS.

This apple girl does not know the workings of androids. Maybe each update there should be a separate android thread? Or maybe storm8 could kindly post what the new update will be called in the preview - this problem is continuous and it's insane to perpetuate literal BS when it can easily be remedied at the source.

It is, you just have to download the latest version. Link at the top of this page, or search RS: Ren Faire in playstore. Personally I'm waiting on the goal, but that doesn't mean it's not available.

I agree. The food quantity on that oven is ghastly! I won't even bother to finish the one I have so far. It'll be sold and the goal oven bought in its place. I'll worry about it next year after I've gone through and mastered every other oven. And just keep collecting parts until the new useless appliance part comes along.

But to use your word crud..I think it's crude to have the last four or so ovens use similar parts.

Although, if I get two of the new appliances, I could have them both cooking the same dish at the same time for a higher yield, like I do on my low yield recipes on the oven, stove, and grill.

Larralee, it can take a month (or more) to get a gem goal to update, and we don't always get them. I think I read on the forums that the bagel update, which was a couple of updates ago, just hit for a gem goal. I know for DS, the last time a gem update hit, it was either a month or four weeks after the actual release date before it hit for gems.

to be fair (not that S8 would know anything about that), not all iOS users have gotten the free gems button. but yeah, i wish they'd put some droid development time in. i'd like the options, even if i wouldn't end up buying them.

i wouldn't have bought the dispenser even if i could though. i know i wouldn't be collecting every 12 hours (i'm not nearly that organized) so it would take me even longer to recoup, and i'd have to use all the gems i currently have plus buy another 105 gem package.

I play on a kindle, I get zero free gems ever. No ads or video watching gems, no download a new version gems.

My guess is that the dispenser will stay in the market, but the 50% off sale will expire once the timer is over. Surprising, I got gem sales across all my games except farm2. :rolleyes:

I played this game for 3 years and never had the free gem button. A long time ago the download a game offer were very often. Now they usually appear after a big mess like the goals for gems stuff.

If you wait like 3-4 weeks you'll get a notification to download and get gems as a reward.

Otherwise, you need to manually look it up on the app store and download it from there, with no reward.

Instead of letting us know when new versions are out, they spam us with purpose-less notifications, even when food isn't ready.

If I didn't put so much time and money into these games, I would've deleted them long ago. And still might anyway ditching all my accounts if this keeps up, I didn't installs games to get spammed :mad:

You can turn them notifications off on your device Tali. On a phone, in settings you'll find Applications Manager'. Find the offending 'Story' games then click 'Notifications Off'. Probably the same method for PCs

Actually I have no notifications checked off, I just got a spam message telling me to cook something. Even though None of my food was done. So I don't think whether you have them checked off or on seems to matter.

Yes it is annoying, I don't need to receive spamming text alerts. You need to stop, because sending unwanted text alerts is crossing the line.

I never had an issue with notifications til a few days ago. I would be notified when food/clothing was done...sometimes inDS when a battle was ready. Now am getting spam notifications that "everyone misses me" or to cook something or order new clothes. On top of that, the actual notifications or alerts I need are just sporadic. Have had to throw out food and expired orders a number of times the past few days due to this. Stop with the spam and fix the regular notices. If all I do is throw out rotten food or expired orders, no point in playing.

Hi, kitrana, BF is Black Friday, the day after U.S. Thanksgiving, when S8 holds a huge sale with unbelievable markdowns on exciting current and re-released items. Or at least that's what I've heard. I've only been around for BF 2014, and it was (according to the game veterans) lame, uninspired, pathetic, and a complete yawnfest. Let's hope for more in 2015.

It's okay :) , yeah I don't have any notifications checked and I got two text alerts between midnight and four am. Which is absolutely ridiculous and pretty disrespectful on their part.

I've only been around for BF 2014, and it was (according to the game veterans) lame, uninspired, pathetic, and a complete yawnfest. Let's hope for more in 2015.

i hadn't really been thinking about the "come play!" notifications until you guys started talking about them, but yeah, what's up with that? i'll get the "come back" kind of thing when i was just in the game like a half hour ago. they're pushy and rude and ridiculous to send to someone who's already playing the game regularly.

I play on a kindle, I get zero free gems ever. No ads or video watching gems, no download a new version gems.

I play on Kindle too and did not get goals for us olde stove although I was able to buy it. When you get an update do you have to start over with a new version? I see them available in the Kindle app store but it looks like a whole new game.

If you play on the kindle it gets updated automatically, you don't have to download new versions.

This update was hideous!:( Everything about it was wrong! The recipes were low times (I hate 1 hour recipes), low servings (225 in 3 hours?), low profit (1,300 - 380 = 920?!?!), and the recipes themselves were terrible (Grilled Corn - already on the Grill, Fried Cookies look like dirt w/ frosting, and who wants Drumsticks?)!:confused: Seriously, when will they increase the cooking times and provide more servings?:mad:

I feel the exact same way..... Also, what happened to the easy appliances oven, stove, grill... Would like more recipes there.. Who has time to tap 3 times per appliance just to get 175 servings.. Waste of time in my opinion.

Are the servings getting lower? I don't have the two newer appliances, but two days after mastering both goal appliances, every serving I had made was gone.
