Why does this game take my purchased gems without permission????

I bought a 10.00 pack of gems to buy some green chairs that go with the green apple tables.
I was close to running out of coins and pecked a decoration that I didn't have enough money for.
Out of nowhere it converts my gems I bought not earned into coins. Coins are so easy to earn not diamonds. . Shame on this company.
This feature should be illegal. This is stealing from me. Bakery story did this to me twice but Apple only refunded my larger purchase. Lessons learned for now on I spend all my diamonds immediately. Storm 8 needs to change this feature. Plz don't buy diamonds if u are low on coins.

To answer your question....in the hopes that you will buy more to replace what they stole from you. The lack of a confirmation button before spending gems apparently has been a big complaint for years, but they refuse to fix it. I refuse to buy gems for this reason... I view the gem traps as all out theft.
